Unfortunately Activision is in bed with the cheat sites. Activision wants you to cheat so they can ban your account and have you buy another key. The cheat sites are easily accessible and Acitivision knows who these sites are. The way I fight the cheaters is by having a strong community that is checked out and allied with our gaming groups. If a person has bans on record that is suspected on cheating then they go on my Steam block list and flagged not to game with. It does not matter what game you play there will always be some cheater out there to get the upper hand. We all have to be aware of gamers with bans on record so we as a cheat free community don't have hackusations about people that game legit.

This has happened to me with my AMD PC. I updated the bios and it fixed the problem. Does this problem happen on other games?

I think in IMO they are done with MW3. A fix would be nice but I don't think the DEV's are ordered to fix the problems with this game. Activision wants you to move on to the newest game and cookie cutter to the next. Eventually the PC market will need a FPS that is more suited with them in mind. It is sad that EA can have dedicated ranked servers for BF3 on console but these guys won't have them for the PC. You might as well just lobby up in a private match and scrim.

Go to settings and turn down your graphics. Basically dummy down everything and then try it out. Make slow adjustments when you try your game again.

Unfortunately they (Activ/IW) don't have a clue what to do. When they do tell you they are working on it, its all smoke, mirrors and lies, on their current way of doing things. I would be embarrassed and rich working for them. Here is the fact of the matter all they have to do is give the PC community the abilty to have ranked dedicated servers and all of this would go away.

I have seen Cheaters in BO1 but they got dealt with by the admin controlling the server. I've said this before and I will say it again, if you game on servers or matchmaking it is always best to game with your friends or get to know the admin of the servers you are gaming in. I think that it is the best way to game in a cheat free environment. If you see a cheater and you can't do anything about it then leave the game your in and join another. The cheaters are looking for gamers to cheat against. If you give them the opportunity to cheat against you they will keep it up. Eventually the cheaters will have no one to game with but other cheaters.

Activision knows who the callofdutycheats are, I think there in bed with them. Its sucks when a company lies to there customers and tells them there against cheating. The cheat sites have key codes that are given out every time they are banned. I saw a guy cheating so bad that when I went to report him his Steam avatar said caution I hack.

More smoke and mirrors. It was scheduled for last week according to Candy. There are no updates from the developers on this issue of cheaters.

I got the same email. Amazon does say:

The only way to defeat the cheaters is by gaming with people you already know and keep the lobby with just your friends. If a cheater comes in just regroup. Eventually the cheaters will have no one to cheat against and they will give up. Thats what I do to when I play this game. It sucks when you cant play against legit players. Get on coms with your friends and game, there are alot of non cheating clans out there that will support a non cheating environment.
