Delete patch 1.06 from your game data utility. The file size should be around 67 mb then reinstall.

So far this has worked on my 120 gb fat, and just done the same with my fathers 3 month old 320gb slim and both are up and running again. Hope this helps

What on two hardened editions, or should I just say useless editions. Don't think I'd actually make anything near what I lost, lol. Nope I'll just sit here fighting the good fight until Activision get the message not to rip loyal customers off.

I've played every cod game out and own multiple copies of each disk and dlc contents over a few accounts, all legit and payed for may I Add. But I can promise you I will not be buying any more after all the lies and deceit that's been going on since MW3. This year just bought more insults with it, customer support is a joke, and they have the cheek to say our problems are resolved in emails and close our cases without even giving us decent answers.

If this is how they're going to carry on then its time to move on to something else that's not made or supported by Activision, Treyarch and the likes.

Not angry, that gets no one anywhere. Stating the fact that I'm not feeling sorry for Treyarch after all the lies and deceit to loyal customers that's all.

And as for EA being brought into the conversation, why? This is an Activision forum so how does this count as relevant or even on topic?

How can I feel bad for a company that gave us...

1. An unfinished game

2. Cheated and won't respond to founder members about extended services

3. Shafted hardened and care package owners by trying to charge us again for content we already paid when we buy an already overpriced season pass

4. Class your issues as resolved without giving you a response.

I did some testing earlier on a super hub pushing 32mb of data and unsurprisingly got a good game, I was asked by a friend if his Experia phone could run as a tether connection to the ps3 so we tested it. The phone was pushing 3.9mb and still had a great game, no lag. Try changing preferences as said above.

I've also tried the port forward rules with little effect. An official response on this may be too early though being as a new fix may be on its way.
