I suggest you don't buy PC video games published by Electronic Arts (EA) either they are doing what Activision, Infinity Ward, Treyarch, Sledgehamme Games are doing just not as bad.

Electonic Arts (EA)'s Origin sucks and the Battle Log that they added to Battlefiled 3 suck and both Battlefield 3 and Mass Effect 3 require Origin to play and Medal of Honor: Warfighter will have this and a Medal of Honor: Warfighter Battle Log like Battlefield 3.

Electronic Arts (EA) has not given mod support or mod tools such as Source (Software) Development Kit (SDK) of any type to their PC vide games Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, Mass Effect 3, Battlefiled 3, and you can count on it that Medal of Honor: Warfighter will not have mod support.

People make mods for Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and Battlefield 3 but with a 3rd party software/program called TexMod which is really hard since Electronic Arts (EA) does not have mod support to those video games and they don't provide us mod tools of any type.

A modder made a color grading mod for Battlefield 3 and DICE threatens anyone who uses that color grading mod that they will get banned if they use it.

DICE says that they ban you because it alters the Source Code and "makes it like a hack" what a load of lies it just changes the color from that grey color to more realistic colors.

I don't believe in Electronic Arts (EA)'s lies anymore and will never purchase PC video games from them ever again I still have not bought Battlefiled 3 and Mass Effect 3 to this day and will not buy Medal of Honor: Warfighter, Dead Space 3, Battlefield 4, and Dragon Age III.

If you think who cares if mods do or don't exist on PC video games then you don't belong on PC you belong on the consoles because mods make the PC community thrive and give a long life to PC video games even after a few year after they are released The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Battlefiled 1942, and Battlefiled 2 still have huge mod communiteis and mod makers and people are still buying those video games on PC to experience the hundreds of mods that exist for those video games on PC.

How is that dumb? Admined Ranked/Unranked Dedicated Servers are better than having Treyarch admin the Ranked/Unranked Dedicated Servers who cares if there are Ranked/Unranked Dedicated Servers that have their owners/friends boost them if you don't like what rules that Ranked/Unranked Dedicated Server has join one that you like it is all about CHOICE not FORCE.

The way Call of Duty: Black Ops II will work is dumb yes lets have the vieo game find 12-18 people too put us on a empty Ranked/Unranked Dedicated Server because I am lazy to find my own really?

Remember this is PC we don't want our hands to be held we want our own freedom to do what we want that is what consoles are for if you want your hand to be held in both Singleplayer and Multiplayer the two pictures Poison_Pawn posted above is a true server structure.

Not all MMO's use that crappy Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, and Call of Duty: Black Ops II server structure World of Warcraft uses Dedicated Servers structure when you log in you can choos PvE, PvE, RPG PvP, RPG PvE and when you click on those it takes you to a Realm/Server list kind of like a Dedicated Server list.

Free to Play (F2P) video games suck they ruin the quality of video games with their micro transactions because then video game publishing companies and video game developer companies can squeeze out more money off of you I would rather pay $10, $15, $20 a month for a MMO like World of Warcraft which I still play to this day because it so well taken care of and maintained Blizzard did a really good job on World of Warcraft every Tuesday you get maintanance and Patches/Updates to fix bugs and glitches sometimes new stuff gets added.

DOTA 2 sucks, Guild Wars 2 sucks, and so does Tribes: Ascend.

I played way more video games than Call of Duty I been playing PC video games for over 12+ years so I very well know how other server environments work and Ranked/Unranked Dedicated Servers work the best and is the only thing that works the best on PC not that console lobby p2p matchmaking IWNet TreyNet stuff.

The whole point behind locking it down, is so that the new code they wrote is not out there and can only be rebuilt very slowly and painstakingly via reverse engineering that will create buggy incomplete versions of the proper code? Are you kidding me?

Here is how many video games on PC have Ranked/Unranked Dedicated Servers vs. console lobby matckmaking p2p garbage.

So lets see there are like 5+ video games on PC with console lobby p2p matchmaking garbage and there are 35+ video games on PC with Ranked/Unranked Dedicated Servers and mod support and get mod tools.

I am sorry to say this but if you don't like Ranked/Unranked Dedicated Servers and regular people like us to host servers you don't belong on the PC you belong on the consoles same goes for mods if you don't support or like mods same thing you belong on the consoles.

damaze look Call of Duty: Black Ops II will be just like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 most definatly like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

pcdev and his team have done a good job on Call of Duty: Black Ops but they won't be doing a better job on Call of Duty: Black Ops II with this console lobby matchmaking crap and Treyarch renting out the servers instead of regular people like us they are also lying about their anti-cheat system to be a top of the line software to ban cheaters it won't happen it will be just like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

It is a proven fact now that they are lying and destroying the PC version of Call of Duty in favor of consoles because treyarch Studio Head Mark Lamia said it takes 4 years to make a Call of Duty: Black Ops II demo when it took them 2 years to make it I mean really 4 years? What a bunch of lies.

I know this because I am a student in college studying C, C++, Visual Basics, and Java Script when I make video games in my class that take one or 2 years I can bust out demos in about 5 months tops to 1 year before it even is released when I graduate from college I hope to get in the video game industry business I will be a indie video game developer though.

Same goes for saying there won't be any mod tools of any type because they say it's because of licensing fees and technical limitations I mean really? The PC has no technical limitations to release mod tools again I know this because I am a student in college learning to make video games yes they might get more complex to make but there are not limitations and if people get confused you release tutorial and instructions manuals and as for licensing fees goes Activision has the cash to pay them but they are not giving us mod tools let alone level/map editors because they want to sell us DLC's like the 5 map $15 map packs.

damze I really want you to save your $60 buck so please cancel your pre-order if you did or if you are planning to go to GameStop or where ever and spend that $60 please take in consideration and save that $60 and put it toward buying another video game that is PC worthy or food or bills or gas if you drive a car.

There is a saying fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me I don't want you to have to go through that.

Fact is Activision, Infinity Ward, Sledgehamme Games lied and now Treyarch jumped on the bandwagon to lie because Activision is forcing them to lie and destroy the PC version of Call of Duty.

It will not have much better security and reporting mechanics they lied pcdev might be there to let you report hackers on twitter but the hack fest will be just like in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 they have iwenforcers so you can report hackers but the harckers are free to roam.

Please wake up and open your mind to the reality.

I will say this again the saying that goes fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame one me well this will be the 3rd time you will be fooled if you buy it.

I know some people want ELITE most PC gamers actually don't want ELITE though.

I love loading up the video game just to see something I don't get why some people are that lazy.

You are correct on that part I never tried ELITE and I don't care to.

ELITE will ruin the PC versions of Call of Duty if it ever comes out jeez I remember when video games were made to be fun and played not to play it and track how much progress you have made and then when you complete every single achievement say I beat the game now I am bored I will move onto the next video game.

Call of Duty, Call of Duty: United Offensive, Call of Duty 2 have no stats/achievements/challenges or what ever and I still play them to this on weekends because they are fun I don't care to look up and see how many kills I got, how many deaths I got, or how many bullets I fired with my AK-47 if it's 10,000 bullets or 1,000,000 bullets.

I don't want to see ELITE in Call of Duty: Black Ops II if you want to trakc your progress with stats/achievements/challenges or what ever you want to call it leave it inside the video game just like how Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: World at War, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: Black Ops, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has them inside the video game in the options menu.

ELITE is bad for PC gamers it is one of the cancers of the video game industry along with video games being made for consoles first then ported to the PC instead of being made for PC first then ported to the consoles as well as selling us 5 map DLC's for $15 which should be free just like in the good old days when we got maps and guns for free back in the good old days in Patches/Updates they actually rewarded us back then for buying their video games.

Battlfield 3 I don't like because it uses Origin and it's Singleplayer and Multiplayer uses Battlog web browser if I want to play Singleplayer I have to be connected online to the internet that is ridiculous.

Sure Battlefield 3 has good graphics, maps designed to hold vehicles, 32 players, 64 players, and dedicated servers that is all great the thing that is missing is mod tools Source (Software) Development Kit (SDK) that makes me sad because Battlfield revolved around the modding community they used so much licensed middle ware software instead of making all of the technology software in their studio.

If they made their own software technology in their studio they would give us mod tools just like Battlfield 1942, Battlfield 2, and Battlefield 2142.

Mod tools are what makes playing PC video games great modding communites thrive modders form development teams and some get hired by video game development companies if their mods are so good some modders mods even become stand alone video games that end up getting sold generating money.

Here are some examples ArmA II the guy who made the DayZ mod for it became a huge success people started buying ArmA II like crazy which pumped lots of money to Bohemia Interactive and you can very well bet that Bohemia Interactive is using some of that money on ArmA III to improve it even more Bohemia Interactive also hired the modder who made DayZ and Bohemia Interactive and him confirmed that DayZ will become a full stand alone video game.

Counter-Strike was a mod then became a full stand alone video game the modder who made that got hired.

The Witcher 2 had a modder who made a UI mod and got hired by CD Projekt and he now releases Patches/Updates for The Witcher 2.

Arkane Studios hired a modder who made missions for Thief 2 he now works for the Arkane Austin Studio in Texas for 6 years now.

Electronic Arts (EA) will never see money from me ever again in their life unless they change.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was a disaster on PC no Ranked/Unranked Dedicated Servers, no mod tools of any types, and very ugly poor looking graphics Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 should of ran on DirectX 11 DirectX 11 after all was released in 2009 along with Windows 7.

Call of Duty: Black Ops was a disaster on PC it has Ranked/Unranked Dedicated Servers that is the only good thing it had, poorly made mod tools compared to the great ones made for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: World at War, Call of Duty: Black Ops had bad performance because it ran off of the CPU not GPU graphics still looked poorly ugly and ran on DirectX 9 not DirectX 11 or DirectX 10 for that matter.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 was a disaster on PC again it had the console lobby matchmaking P2P crap again as default along with Dedicated Servers, poorly made mod tools just like Call of Duty: Black Ops and ugly poor looking graphics no DirectX 11 again.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II PC version on the other hand is looking very PC friendly pcdev also said it is being designed by a dedicated PC team I hope that part is true and not a lie.

This is the PC not a console the PC has so much more power than consoles it is the most powerful gaming machine period.

STOP WITH ELITE NOW MOST PC GAMERS DO NOT WANT ELITE ON PC I AM HAPPY THEY ARE NOT BRINGING IT TO THE PC I HOPE IT NEVER SEES THE LIGHT OF DAY ON THE PC.

ELITE BELONGS ON CONSOLES ONLY.

Good job on selling your Xbox and joining the PC community you should sell all your consoles and console video games consoles are just pure trash.

The laptop that you want to buy should definately be able to run Call of Duty: Black Ops II on max settings because 6GB of RAM is alot and a Quad-core AMD A8-3520M processor is enough as well now we need to see what kind of graphic card it has I have 4GB of RAM a AMD Phenom 9600 Quad-Core Processor 2.30GHz and a ATI Radeon HD 5700 (5770) series and I can run Call of Duty: Black Ops on max settings and I will definately be able to run Call of Duty: Black Ops II on max setting I can even run Batman: Arkham City and Battlefield 3 on max settings I am planning on getting 8GB of RAM up from 4GB of RAM sometime this year or early next year.

Buying a PC and PC video games will reward you with many great features such as mod tools Source Development Kit (SDK), 64+ players on a server and maps designed to hold 32 players and 64+ players, Ranked/Unranked Dedicated Servers, and the latest graphics.

Not all video games come with these but a bunch do such as ARMA II and the DayZ mod.

I don't think you can run ARMA II on max settings with that laptop but you should be able to run it on medium settings.

Props to you at least someone who plays on a console is standing up .

I don't think Treyarch can do anything about it but it would be nice if Treyarch cries at Activisions CEO, COO, and President doubt it would work Vivendi/Activision Blizzard would jump on that $10 billion dollars instantly when that kind of money is offered to you greed can change a man .

However if Activision Blizzard is sold to Microsoft and Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer games, and Treyarch opt out and look for someone else to publish their video games it would be nice but seeing as Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games made MW2 and MW3 sad looking on the PC I doubt it would change they would follow Activision Blizzard if they did it would be sad.

I know exactly what you mean I feel the same way the sad thing though about the PC version of Call of Duty is that they made it a poor console port with MW2, MW3 Call of Duty: Black Ops just a little at least it had Ranked/Unranked Dedicated Servers and some type of mod tools but poorer quality than Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, and Call of Duty: World at War mod tools which are 10X better.

Why do I hate Digital Distribution?

Because I love having a collection of video games in physical copies on my shelf all nicely arranged and seeing their box art I have about 100 physical copies on my shelf that don't require Origin and Steam.

The Elder Scrolls III: Game of the Year Edition, Battlefiled Vietname, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Expansion Pack Shivering Isles, Call of Duty, Call of Duty: United Offensive, Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: World at War, and Systemshock I can type all of them but it would be to much it would be a long list.

I am with you man I will never buy any consoles they hold back game technologt severely I mean Call of Duty: Black Ops II is the first Call of Duty on PC to have DirectX 11 if that is true what Treyarch says.

Call of Duty should of used DirectX 11 since it was released in 2009 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Call of Duty: Black Ops, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 all should of had DirectX 11.

Same goes for Epic Games Gears of War was on the PC but it was a disaster with Games for Windows Live Cliff Bleszinski just made up excuses and blamed pirates then Gears of War 2, Gears of War 3, and Gears of War: Judgment all became Xbox 360 exclusives pretty sad.

Same goes for Red Ded Redemption I loved that game i played it on my brothers used Xbox 360 but I got bored quickly because it was not on PC also it would of been better if it waso on PC with mods.

You say I like Activision yeah right I will not buy Call of Duty: Black Ops II just like how I did not buy Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and I did not buy any of their DLC's in Call of Duty: Black Ops.

I made a mistake buying Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and it's DLC's my brother however bought Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 twice 1 copy for him and 1 copy for me that was a mistake he made at least he didn't buy the DLC's for that game he also made a mistake buying 1 DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops.

And there is a huge difference between Steam and Origin Valve at least gives us Steam Workshop the only thing that is the same with Steam and Origin is that they are both digital distributors and both have friends list Steam also has groups and community.

Also you are correct there is no difference between Electronic Arts (EA) and Activision they are both the same I can agree with that.

PC gamers throw out your voices now if Microsoft buys Activision Blizzard from Vivendi we can be sure that they will make Call of Duty exclusive probably for next gen Xbox or if they do continue to release Call of Duty for PC it would use Games for Windows Live and we all know how terrible that software is.

Step it up and do not let Microsoft buy Activision Blizzard and ruin our video game experience on the PC Microsoft are money grabbers and would leave us to dust and force us to buy Xboxes' which I will never do no such thing I play on the PC for life if Microsoft does buy Activision Blizzard we need to force them and tell them we want Call of Duty on PC as well not just consoles and make sure it will never have Games for Windows Live.

What ever do you not realise that if DICE didn't do what EA said EA would say go find another publisher then yes DICE has all the rights because Frost Bite 2 is their property yes DICE is Swedish but it still applies to publishers as well and EA can decide to sell Battlefield 3 with mod tools or no mod tools same goes for DLC or DLC Expansion Pack.

As I said because I am studying C++ and Visual Basics and hope that I may become an Indie Game Developer one day if I get my game published by a major game publisher they will ask me what they want or don't want added in my game even though it is my own game engine I made unless I published it myself and guess what I have been told this in college a spokesperson for publishers who comes to college to teach students how publishing works told the class.

There does me breaking it up this time look better?

First of all I never said I know what it is like in the UK I said I have no idea secondly I never said you or I have a say if the game developer company wants to release mod tools or not it is their property they can do what ever they want I said their publisher EA has a say in it because it is on the stock market (NYSE) and they have to do what their publisher tells them as well and the publisher does what it's share holders tell them to do their is a guy who lives here who I hear about all the time who owns a huge chunk of EA and he gets a huge say what he does or does not want included in the game and I believe he asked for no release of mod tools for Battlefield 3 only until they figure out what they are doing so stop saying they have no say over it my god yes other developers, Criterion, and Black Box license it from DICE but EA publishes and they can say they don't want this or that stop living in denial yes it is DICE's choice to release mod tools but if EA says no then they must obide my god I know this my brother does stocks he buys and sells them in Oil, Shipping, and video games which EA is one of them no my brother is not a major shareholder in EA or the others I said he barley has a say but he talked to people who own huge chuncks jeez.
