Actually I am doing those exact things and not caring as much. I find the frustration goes away if I just play to have fun. Guess I'm just playing in hopes that it will be magically fixed one day. You do make a good point.

Sorry izjar11, I'm not going to let it go. I'll move on when the next one comes out. I love the series, just not this game. You will probably see another rant from me again. If everyone kept quiet, then nothing would ever change. It's a genuine hobby of mine...

I've given the game a chance. I've learned the maps. I have the best Internet connection available. I am an above average player in all of the other Call of Duty games. With that said, why is it that Black Ops 2 lets me down time after time. It has very poor consistency and can change on a dime. A gun can work perfectly for a few matches and in an instant, it couldn't kill someone even if they were standing still. The connection issues make this game unplayable. Sure there are good days, but not that often. For something I consider a serious hobby, this game is driving me away from the CoD series. Doesn't Activision read some of these posts? Is it a fixable game? I'd say no to both questions. Treyarch came up with some good ideas and made some pretty good maps, but that means nothing if constant lag ruins the game. I see these updates and patches that do everything but address the real issue. Why? Because they can't fix it, that's why. I hope that Infinity Ward comes out with something better next time up. I think they did a better job with previous CoDs. If you disagree, fine, but explain why you disagree. If you don't experience lag then kudos to you. For the rest of us, it simply sucks.

I play the game because CoD is a genuine hobby. I spend much of my free time either playing the game or working on my YouTube channel. So, when a new CoD game comes out, I am excited to dive in and have some fun. And for the first time in the CoD series, I fail to have fun. It's not the maps, the scorestreaks or the graphics. It's simply the connection issues. How can one consistantly have fun in a game when he is a half second behind the other players. Something is broken in Black Ops 2 lag compensation. There is no consistency day to day, heck even game to game. I can even get cursed midway through a game.

So, I complain because I have the right to do so. I spend money on a product that is not working for me and many others. If it is working for you then congrats, you are the lucky one. Why not start your own thread named "Black Ops 2 is the greatest game ever" and see how many views you get.

I have the best internet connection speed that my provider offers my area. And it is good enough to play any other COD game. Believe me, I pay the $120 per month internet bill.

Your opinion differs from mine and that's cool. You must be on the good side of the BO2 lag curve. Believe me, good ideas or not, if your connection were like mine, you'd be down on the game too. I can see much hope on the few nights that the game plays correctly and I actually have fun. But those nights come very rarely. MW3 ran perfectly 99% of the time on my system and I didn't play MW2 so I can't compare the two. But speaking on the general mechanics of the game, MW3 runs better on my system.

Oh I agree with you 100%. Lag and connectivity can ruin the entire experience. You can't enjoy the scorestreaks when you can't obtain them. But you are right, they really came up with some good ideas, but they should make sure the basics work first.

I clearly stated that I enjoy the COD games. And I am not one to ***** about what other players do in the game. You will always have noobtubers and campers. What I am complaining about is the mechanics and the connections in the game. If it flows smooth for you, then that is wonderful. For most of us it does not. That is definately a reason to complain. We pay money for the game. We pay money for extras that go with the game. I personally have purchased a new capture card, fast pc, headsets, controllers, new gaming monitor, editing software, microphone...etc solely for this game. SO YES, I have a right to complain. AND YES, MW3 ran better than this game...on my console it did and still does.

I'm right with ya Shaiba. The game is junk, complete junk. I doubt you'd ever win any court battle though. Our best response to such a bad game is to not buy the next Treyarch game. And Treyarch, by the way, probably never read these posts. Too busy counting the money they scammed us all out of. Time will tell but I think this might be the end of the COD franchise. I hope not, but other companies are putting out better stuff.

Not seeing it Adam, but your opinion does matter. Maybe I was on the good side of the lag curve with MW3, and on the bad side with BO2. You must be on the good side and that is awesome. But it's a fact that many players are getting the raw end and I'm one of them. Sure I have a night or two where the lag is not there, but most of the time I'm getting shot way after I dive behind a wall for cover. Too many gun battles lost after I clearly get first shot only to have a guy spin and kill me with one bullet. And yes the spawns...no way in hell are they better than MW3. Also your vision window in BO2 is much narrower allowing kills from your side after you clearly didn't see anyone in your path. Don't get me wrong, I want to like this game, I really do. I just want it to be fair and consistent.

Yes, they did a pretty good job on Black Ops 1. You would think the sequel would have been better. Not the case. I guess I come off as mad because I am. I really want to like the game but I keep getting let down. I discuss this on my YouTube channel (MrDBOneau) which is another reason it makes me mad. I had the plan to grow my channel by posting interesting game plays, but they are impossible to get.

I hear that statement about people hating MW3 all of the time, but now do you see that it was/is a much better game than Black Ops 2. I'm mad as hell at the game. A game that I spent good money on. In addition to the boosters and cheaters, the game has horrible hit detection and lag. It is inconsistent from day to day. I hope Activision wises up and never trusts Treyarch to make another COD again. They are ruining the game.

I've never seen a game of this magnitude have so many problems. People say don't play it if you don't like it. I say if I am going to spend money on a game, then I should get some enjoyment out of it. Activision should carefully consider if Treyarch should ever be able to produce another game like this one. The lag is awful, the hit detection is even worse. Don't they read comments? Do they even care? I doubt either. Your game sucks Treyarch. All around sucks. Nothing works correctly on a daily basis. Hire some better qualified people and make something worth playing. Black Ops 2 is a complete joke. Infinity Ward games are made so much better.

You are not the only one. This game is beyond unplayable. I've never seen such poor quality that seems to only be getting worse. We pay good hard earned money for these games and should have a decent product to play. I have a YouTube channel and I have posted several videos on this topic. If you get time, check it out at MrDBOneau. I'm done with this game and going back to MW3...at least in that game, when you fire first and hit your enemy he dies. I wish more would follow suit.
