Re: -Instead of CTF... POW-

POW gamemode, sounds cool! So the idea is to get the pow and get him to the safe point? Sounds alright to me, but it should differ from CTF.

Who you get to rescue is not an AI, but the actual player. The pow is chosen when the match begins. The Rescue team has to infiltrate the Enemy's base and find the PoW. The PoW will be tortured, beaten to half dead. Whoever gets the PoW first, will be titled as a Rescuer until he drops/saves the PoW. There will be no marker above the Rescuer's head. The movement speed will be lowered very and the use of weapons will be varied how the Rescuer carries the PoW. When the Rescuer saves the PoW, the Rescue team gets the round point. Three-five matches like this, the Rescue team wins the match.

The Rescuer should have two options of carrying the PoW: holding the PoW with two hands or by carrying the PoW on the Rescuer's shoulders. Holding the PoW with both hands should increase the movement speed a little, but have no ability to shoot. Carrying the PoW on the Rescuer's shoulder should decrease the movement speed a little, but give the Rescuer an ability to shoot from a pistol gun. When aiming, the Rescuer's coordination should be shaky because the PoW is struggling to hold the Rescuer's shoulders and the PoW is half-dead.

When you find the PoW, you won't have an option to choose whether you carry the PoW with both hands or with your shoulders. When you get to him, you just press the Use button to pick him up and press two certain buttons to change the carrying position while rescuing the PoW.

Of course the Rescuer should have Energy Tab on the screen when rescuing the PoW. If the Energy Tab is at 0, that means the Rescuer is very tired and he automatically drops or gives the PoW to the new Rescuer. Oh, and the Energy should run out slowly, not so fast and not so slow, but medium.

Oh, and there should be time limit as well. The time limit should depend on the map size. When the time limit runs out, the Enemy team will get the round point. If the Rescue team with the PoW is 25% far from the Enemy base, and the time limit runs out, then the round should end up with the Rescue team's death. If the Rescue team with the PoW is 50% far from the Enemy base, and the time limit runs out, then the Enemy team should win with the PoW's recapture. If the Rescue team is 75% far from the Enemy's base, and the time limit runs out, then the Enemy team should win with the PoW's death - the PoW will bleed out.

The PoW will not be invincible, but mortal. If the Enemy team shoots the PoW to death, then it's either a tie or Rescue team's victory, depending how far the Rescue team with the PoW is from the Enemy base. If they're 50% far and the Enemy team will shoot down the PoW, then it's the Rescue team's victory.
===

Sorry guys, ran out of ideas. You can fix me if you want! :3

Same for the Last Stand perk. :3

But what if you get shot in the head by a sniper or get your hands gibbed by MG? How do you drop that grenade then? In my opinion both of those stupid perks should be removed.

If you get a headshot or get your hands gibbed by MG then of course martyrdom shouldn't happen, but if the victim gets shot on his chest/stomach/legs then he should have a few seconds to live, giving him a chance to pull the pin off the grenade.

Sure it's fun making players angry by making them shoot all their ammo at you, but they deflect thanks to your shield, or sneak with your shield at them and bash them to death. Good thing to do in MW2.

But riot shields in BO sounds pretty funny, because the singleplayer takes place in Cold War era and the missions were top secret, classified: so that means it is possible that high-tech will be in the game and if I'm right, the riot shield will be the same as a wooden stick. Same story goes in multiplayer.

In my opinion BETA should be a closed beta and not given through pre-ordering or owning previous Treyarch titles. The reason for this is that in closed beta the feedback is provided accurately and effortly, testers who know the definition of beta test and not claim it's a demo or a preview of a final version.

1. Perks. They make the gameplay worse and no fun at all: the players with perks have big advantages over other players and this just spoils the fun and is completely unrealistic.

2. Deathstreaks. Juggernaut or something like that deathstreak is just ridiculous: again overpowered. Enough said.

3. Similar killstreaks like in MW2. Tactical Nuke and killstreaks like that is not fun at any circumstances at all. Sure the player with it can feel all awesome and honored but what the others feel? Maybe recon and ammo packages is good, but round-ending k-streaks is just stupid.

Ordinary launchers are overpowered in MW2, which is sad.
