Elite's clan ops scheduling is HORRIBLE.

I don't know how many of you were able to enlist, but there was a clan ops on Elite today (Friday May 4th). If you didn't know about this clan ops at all, that is because the people who run Elite decided once again to open up a clan ops and give elite members less than 24 hours to register.

For most of the week, the clan ops appeared empty. As someone who checks Elite at least once a day, I was surprised to see there was a Clan Ops going on when I checked Elite today. This is the 2nd time in the past 7 days that Elite has just sprung a clan ops on its users and gave them way less than 24 hours to enlist in it.

What Elite needs to do is have a clan op occur once every 3 days and not just spring clan ops on the community. Plan clan ops in advance!

My suggested schedule would look something like this:

Monday

Thursday

Sunday

Wednesday

Saturday

Tuesday

Friday

repeat

Elite also needs to have different time-slots for the same Op, but clans would only be allowed to enter into 1 time slot for each clan operation.

The 3 time slot choices would correspond with 7 PM for the local time of the main 3 regions:

7PM PST/PDT (UTC -8/UTC -7)

7PM EST/EDT (UTC -5/UTC -4)

7PM GMT/BST (UTC/UTC +1)

Infected: Please remove the ability for players to use a 2nd controller in Infected.

Hello Ghandi and any other MW3 staff reading this.

Please remove the ability for players to use their 2nd controller in Infected.

The reasons for this are obvious but since this feature has not been fixed, I will elaborate:

-There are no statistical consequences for the 2nd controller, therefore people use their 2nd controller to boost. They become infected with the 2nd controller and meet up with the 1st controller in a far-away location from the other players. The second controller then proceeds to tac insert while the 1st controller knifes him (thus not appearing on the UAV).

[This appears on the kill feed but when many people are coming at you trying to knife you and you're trying frantically to stay alive, you do not have time to look at the kill feed to see if anyone is boosting]

-Players should never be allowed to see locations of opponents and in a game mode such as Infected, this is allowed when one of the 2 controllers on the screen switches sides. The other player just needs to bring up the map and voila, you can see the entire enemy team.

-There are other abuses too but I think the 2 mentioned here should suffice.

How could anyone not foresee this occurring? The use of a 2nd controller in Infected should have been removed from the start. Please rectify this problem. It has ruined many of the Infected matches I have been in.

How to fix MW3 connection issues NAT Moderate Strict Open

1) Log into your router and turn on [enable] UPnP (Universal Plug and Play), most routers have this option in the Administration tab.

2) Go to PS3's network settings, check status and write down the IP Address.

3) Follow the steps in this video (be careful about some steps! See below)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ex-4qQ6trwk

Note:

-Where he suggests to enter a random number for your IP address, I used the IP address my PS3 previously had. I do not suggest entering a random number.

-For the primary and secondary DNS, I entered the ones already listed on my router, which I found when I logged into my router. If you cannot find this information from your router, I am unsure if it is necessary to enter anything into the Primary and Secondary DNS fields.

-Since I entered the DNS already listed on my router into my PS3, I did not follow the step of adding the DNS listed on the PS3 into my router.

-I did not enter my PS3's IP address into the DMZ. DMZ means unrestricted two-way Internet access. This may be good but please be careful since enabling DMZ = no protection for the host. I don't want someone's hacked PS3 connecting to mine.

-At the end he suggests going to PortForward.com but I am not sure why and therefore do not see the point.
