If beachhead are running it again, I wont be buying it.

They are total and absolute useless incompetent idiots

I will buy the map packs seperately even if it costs me more money to do so, but no more money is going to beachhead from me out of principle.

Anyone else getting some more "expected errors"?

All I play is Domination and I have played Terminal many times.

Cant say I have ever experienced this spawn trap you talk about, but then... I am good at the game.

I do believe I came across one of these "1:6 support system" clans in last weekends TDM op.

I couldnt help but laugh because there were a load of people running round with riot shields basically getting owned, but unfortunately the 1 guy who was trying to shoot people was getting owned too, mostly by me.

After taking a beating for a short while, and when I pulled out the old AC-130, they backed out. Presumably to go and find another game where there weren't any good players on the opposing team.

What planet are you on?

It doesnt matter if its 4v4, 6v6, 1v1 or 16v16... you can measure how good a clan is no matter how many numbers are in the op.

You can measure it "according to stats" but I agree ops in this format are not necessarily a measure of skill. In most cases of those of who finish top I would suggest it is a measure of how good you are at boosting without being caught.

There is not and never will be a "true" clan system on console, not like you used to see on PC with likes of Counter-Strike, Battlefield Series etc etc....

A gun is only as "overpowered" as the person using it.

Any gun in the hand of a very good player can be deadly.

The only thing I will complain about is sniper rifles. I dont think every shot should be a one shot kill, particularly when quick scoping. And also, I think something should counter steady aim.

Too many times have I seen some players rapid fire quick scope and kill multiple enemies within a couple of seconds at close and long range. In my opinion, people shouldnt be running round the map with a sniper rifle in their hand using it as if it is a shotgun.

I have no problem with one shotting people with a sniper rifle if you have taken the time to aim at the enemy, but the way people use QS these days it may as well be a shotgun that can kill people at any range. In fact, why not put a bloody noob tube attachment on it as well while they're at it?

So, I played a number of games of domination last night and some guy (monkeyboy or something) starts smack talking me.

Accuses me of camping with my tactical insertion.

I didnt say a lot in response other than that to not blame me him not being able to beat me. Not my fault he isnt good enough.

Fact is, I am not a camper and I never will be.

What I am, is a Domination player who concentrates on objectives of the game. Now, my target is to win the game. Not really fussed too much about my KD ratio although it is often in excess of 1.5 / 2, sometimes less sometimes more.

Obviously I am trying to win the game so if my team holds 2 flags then I am going to attempt to defend them. Normally I will tactical insert somewhere between them or not far from a flag that I am defending. Is this camping? I would call it guarding / patrolling as I dont just sit in one place, more so I guard / patrol an area for incoming enemies.

I will generally only rush around if we have 1 or less flags, or we are owning the server in which case the game is won and it becomes more of a free for all.

If I wanted to play any other game type or style of play other than purely objective, I would play Team Deathmatch. I make no apology for not running round like a headless chicken not contributing to the actual objective of the game just so enemy players can have a chance.

Anyway, this chap is prestige 20 and a lot higher rank than me, so he starts saying I am a noob. Says I am prestige 16 and the only way I can get kills is to camp. This is so far from the truth its un-real.

Then he starts having a go at my KD ratio of 1.38, which to be fair aint brilliant. But this is accounted for by the fact that when I first started playing MW3, I wasnt really that good, but as I have improved I have managed to bring it up, but its tough going. If I were to reset stats now, I am sure I would have a KD of 2:1 or above.

So, in the end he sends me a message saying that "I am not a bad player" but "I can only get kills by camping" and that "my KD is low and if I am anything to go by then my clan must be rubbish". But then not long after that, after a number of games in which he couldnt better me, he mumbles something about not being bothered to play me anymore and then disconnects.

Fact is, I proved on several occasions that I was the better player and he left to find another server where he could own some real noobs.

See, thats where I differ. If I come up against a player as good as or better than me, I play and play and play until I beat them or they leave. I like a challenge and I enjoy beating players that think they're better than me, often because they are a "higher rank" and they think they are something special as a result.

The only time I leave a server is if I come across a couple of maps which I really dislike playing, such as Carbon and Liberation for example. But I even give them a go sometimes. They are "ok" maps but poorly designed in my opinion. Often they just because a game of Team Deathmatch than Domination.

So anyway, I take it with a pinch of salt, and take it as a compliment because at the end of the day if I wasnt better than him he probably wouldnt have said anything. I rarely remember the players that dont achieve a lot in a game, but I do remember the good ones!

Seems that Elite website may be running a little better or is it just me?

Also notice that Clan Ops and Challenges have been populated. Clan Ops listed for the next three weeks!

And also DOMINATION OPS ARE BACK!!!!

I wouldnt say it has "worked".

For half a year it didnt do half of what it promised to do, and at this rate the last quarter isnt looking too promising either.

Just because you claim that you havent had any problems, it doesnt mean anyone else doesnt. You are the exception it would seem.

I am a Natwest customer, but when Natwests banking service screwed up I was one of the few that wasnt affected. But I was one of the minority. Most customers lost money and suffered a lot of stress due to the failed service... all of whom were recompensed, and so you should when something you pay for doesnt work like it should.

It does need to be said. At the end of the day, this is a subscribed to service, therefore at some point cost us money to buy into.

It is unreasonable that for the majority of us (if not all) that the service is largely unusable and often fails to load at all.

I know BO2 is only just around the corner but that is no excuse whatsover. They have had plenty of time to get prepared for BO2, and in any case it shouldnt mean that you leave your existing and current userbase with a faulty product.

Yes I am "another whiner", but we all deserve to express our discontentment with the situation and demand that the issues be rectified. If it was a short lived problem then fair enough, but this has been going on for far too long now.

The mere fact that so many people are complaining indicates that there are a substantial amount of unhappy customers and the service clearly isnt running as it should.

Its a unique product and there is no alternative for us to turn to. They are taking advantage of this and the fact that we have already payed in advance for the service and now they feel they can do what they want and neglect us at their leisure with no consequence.
