Community: Although Treyarch informed the community on updates and patches, they don't appear to be in touch with the community. Their community manager, Josh Olin, has done little to keep up with the community other than press events and twitter. He has also stirred up controversy as a community manager, saying, "Quickscoping is way more annoying to a way larger group of people than the quickscoping community who loves to do it. #cheap", "The game does not lag, it's your connection. (paraphrase)". Olin has had his facts wrong for quite sometime, and the community has obviously been fed up with him for a while. Josh Olin left and Vahn has eventually taken over the roll. It seems like Vahn has become the 'new Olin' in terms of not really helping out the community. Lag issues have still yet to be formally addressed.
Zombies: The zombie craze blew up this past year with the new and improved zombies mode, introduced by Treyarch in World at War. Despite multiple exploits in zombies, Treyarch has actually fixed 90% of those exploits with patches. This is the one positive area with Treyarch this year. Treyarch would be better off making Call of Duty Zombie games, seeing has how most of Treyarchs true fans appreciate zombies rather than multiplayer.
OVERALL: Overall, Treyarch deserves a D- on their performance review. Do they deserve a second chance with the Call of Duty franchise? Yes. However they have A LOT of improving to do with Balance, Patches, and Community. They do need to address that the Lag issue was a big problem in Black Ops, and they need to improve on making their game less laggy.

have a look at your own class and look at what weapon kills you the most and then think strateigically and choose some perks, and weapons to counter the weapon...
i have hardly died by the famas and galil, and that is only because i have been able to think about what to use
the game of call of duty has not only been designed for the killing of other players, but to be used strategically and thought about.
so before you come on here and moan about these so called overpowered weapons, look at your classes and then change them
the problem is noone online is willing to change their classes.

i dont throw it random all the time i do it everyonce in a wile and hes not the first camper to get killed the other guy wasnt even close to the objective and he killed me as i thew it and we both died he was prone on top of a building sorry i can show because i forgot to save it

they did good with black ops the only thing wrong was the lag mw2 was camp fest with bs UNBALENCED mw2 the spas 12 did look better in mw2 then in black ops
