Re: Connecting all Call of Duty games to ELITE

Good, but it would also be good if they were displayed on the profile in my opinion. ELITE would work as a tidy site to recruit clans and organise mod free games in the old Call of Duty games. People can view other profiles to find people who love the same individual Call of Duty they prefer, and then contact each other based on that. Of course people do that already, but the meeting places are very scattered in different sites and do not have the perks/apps the ELITE site may have for these things.

They catch boosters this way, but not hackers? Should be fairly easy to pick some per day by viewing their profile in the same way. Just tonight in World at War I saw one player in rank 65 prestige 10 with 99 killstreak in a team deathmatch.. Like every Call of Duty the match should end after 75 kills, so this streak obviously came from a modded lobby. Also I saw one player with the same rank and prestige who had only completed 59 matches. Viewing profiles like this should be just as good as catching them in the act, which apperantly is the only legit proof to ban people for modding if I have understood the World at War forums correctly. As far as I know Activision might already be doing that with some leftover manpower, but the modders are still so many.. Anyhow the main point is that organising it like that would make it easier for players to find equals and avoid modders.

Connecting all Call of Duty games to ELITE

Hi, I have noticed that they have connected our Black Ops I profiles to Call of Duty now, and I appreciate that. From the beginning I wanted that all Call of Duty games were connected to ELITE, but in FAQ I read that Activision did not have any plans to do that. I don't know why they didn't want to do that, but one issue could be that a lot of people cheat in the old Call of Duty games. This shouldn't matter, because ELITE should be for the real players, and with all Call of Duty games connected, it would be the ultimate Call of Duty HQ. Activision could perhaps even look through profiles if all games were connected and see if the playtime done by a user is unrealisticly low compared to the rank in for example World at War, to contact and ban them from the relevant game. It would be interesting to see how many people also want all Call of Duty games to be connected to their ELITE profile. It's an oppertunity to discuss it here.

I've read forums where a lot people, including me, report every hacker they see but after years of doing so, it hasn't changed a thing. People call Microsoft and Activision to ask what the consequenses for those being reported are, and the answer is none, because to ban or suspend them, they must be caught in the act of cheating. "Avoid player" is actually more effective, but doesn't punish hackers.

Re: Petition to PATCH Call of Duty World at War

Still I enjoyed it intensly, and always hoped that it would work like a normal game eventually. I gave up though, after discovering that 1 hour of fun play required 4-6 hours of stress and reporting players. I could also loose my rank if I was infected by modders, so I stopped entirely. Now I wish that they will make another WWII themed game with the same overwhelming quality in every small and big aspect of it as WaW had, because after several years now they have proven that there will not be a patch unless they are legally forced to. I'm sure they would remove it from sale before they did that anyway.
