Ok dude keep searching Google for BO2 cheaters and posting statistics that have no true relavance to BO2. Thats like saying everyone banned on Xbox is from BO2....

And please dont argue, you have not made one valid point to back up your reasoning.

and 76 friends? Keep on inviting people that are better than you. I get invites from randoms like you all the time.

And since that matters to you, I have over 130 on steam, and not 1 has been vac banned.

But everything you have mentioned except the mentioning a few friends of yours that have hacked, is 100% speculation. You can google anything and get back results. Thats what its there for, obviously some will yield higher results than others due to the topic but ya its the internet. But does it mean its true? Or correct? Doubtful. Thats like beleiving everything on wikipedia.

And cheating forums, 1.9mil people????... With the way you are talking, and the numbers you are posting and believing, everyone that plays BO2 on PC hacks. Actually with those numbers that would indicate there is supposively more hackers than there is even actual players. Are they just plain computer AI bots playing in public lobbies? As the last time I checked the stats of BO2 sales on PC, it was around 1.1mil people.

And ya thats cool, i do the same. If I meet a cool person I send them that good ol FR. But dont go around randomly inviting "Good players" lol.

And sure why would someone admit to hacking, unless they are just dumb. Like this guy here.

Ya I don't just friend anyone I see in-game even if they are a good player. And none of my friends have been banned from the game for cheating. So I dont go off that. I go by what Ive seen.

But 10-15% is alot. Even only counting people online at peak times, which is around 25k or so people, at that ratio would be atleast 2500 of those are cheaters. And in a grand scheme of things, lets say theres a total of a 100k people on PC, thats 10k or more cheaters. That doesn't sound right at all.

Ya, Ive sent pcdev a few messages myself in regards to this, with no response.

But ya normally I have 20-40ping and get put into games with people having 250-300ping all the time. And even on occassion I have seen people with 600+ and it wasnt just one person was 2 or 3. Needs fixing for sure. Why even have a "matchmaking" system and search preferences if they don't effect anything other than yourself, not the lobby as a whole. As we all know the supposive "Lag compensation" ya, doesnt work.

Well playing on bigger maps has its issue as well. For me I enjoy running around killing people constantly, and on maps like Turbine, or Carrier, or Aftermath you get people that just camp with lmgs, and or snipers in the back of the maps... Which if you ask me is no fun at all. But to each there own. But I agree it is semi common on those 2 maps where people will just pre-fire spam all the time. And as you said its hard to tell if they are cheating or not.

And ya I love the idea of Game of the Week. Due to the small amount of players on the PC, majority of the gametypes get overlooked it seems. Mostly TDM and Domination are the only ones that have a large mass of people playing. Well also Arms Race now. But ya only 3. I personally enjoy most of the gametypes, so not being able to play them often is a bummer.

Ya, I agree. The cheats people use have improved a lot over time. In older games, if anyone ever played it "Enemy Territory", you could see an aimbotter a mile away, as it would snap to someones head so quick. So thats a good thing that the blatent cheats are not there.

But like I said in my video, with the lag compensation and matchmaking system putting people with such horrible ping differences together its hard to actually tell sometimes. And I am personally not a bad player so dont run into bs often other than the normal target finder campers... So annoying.

But I agree there is hackers out there for sure. But how many is the question.

Maybe check out Impulse Logic Gaming, An online PC gaming community that enjoys playing all sorts of games. Just a bunch of people that play games, has a good time gaming, trying to do the best we can, and get somewhat wreckless at times. Its no fun being passive in games sitting around waiting for something to happen, we bring the action to us.

As a community we play all sorts of genres of games including "First Person Shooters" including Call of Duty and Battlefield. Also "RTS" such as Starcraft 2. Also games like Dota 2, League of Legends, Diablo 3, and many others.

The other day, with the Uprising DLC, they added a new playlist called "Game of the week". Anyone tried it yet? What do you guys think. Good or Bad?

Buts its basically just sticks and stones. For people to have fun with the throwing weapons, and knifing. Having someone camping in a corner after they get 1 kill just shooting people isnt any fun. I think it was a mistake for them to add bullets to the game mode.

So guys I enjoy playing All or Nothing(Aon) and it seems alot of people tend to shoot their gun after they get one kill and get ammo. I personally really dislike people that do this. AoN is basically the sticks and stones of MW3 but they have to ruin everyones fun by shooting their gun.

What do you all think? Do you shoot your gun when you get ammo in AoN?

Heres a pretty sick vid of me going 20-0 on village only using me blade. Any feedback is welcome as I am newer to making videos and doing commentary. Just trying to get better. Thanks

You need to login on the site, Callofduty.com. Goto theatre mode and link your youtube account to your COD account.

Then you just go into theatre mode, select your video, and an option to render the video will be available and it will process and upload the video to the youtube account.

Hey 2shae,

Sorry to hear you are having issues. On most games dedicated servers are 100% controlled by whoever rents the server to use. They upload whatever version of the game they want to run, add the maps/settings for the server, and change whatever else there is to however they want it. So you will run into a lot of servers that are running completely different game version and maps that public servers do. Now normally they allow you to download everything upon entering the server. Others they have the downloads on another server to prevent people playing to slow down to downloads.

So first Id recommend enabling upnp if you don't already and enable all ports needed for the game to allow it to download things properly. Also make sure you have any settings in steam that effects downloading things from games.

That should fix it for you. If not you can always locate the servers webpages, and they should have all the files you need to download to play.

Are you talking about split screen like 2player one screen, the option consoles have for 2 people to play?

Which the answer is no. You cannot have more than one user on the PC Version at a time.

Hey Ammy,

Sorry to hear you are having this issue. Normally issues related to not finding a certain file when loading is it got corrupted somewhere down the line from either the initial installation, patches/updates. So you should be able to fix this by just re-installing the game, and if that does not work, possibly steam itself became corrupt. So re-installing steam should do it.

Have you ever played on the dedicated servers hosted by other players? These lobbies are normally way cleaner than regular public servers.

Hey AMD,

Sorry to hear you are having issues with trying to load/play the game. But as Nolly mentioned it could be a number of things. So lets try to eliminate some possible causes and hopefully fix your issue.

First, What windows version are you using, what video card do you have, and what drivers are you running? And are you running WHQL drivers or beta drivers?

I know you mentioned you updated your drivers, but sadly this could be a possible cause. Something may have corrupted upon installing, or you may have not removed your old drivers properly causes conflicts.

Have you made any notable changes to your computer(Hardware or Software)? Software end will mostly be drivers and stuff, but hardware such as upgrading cpu, ram, fans or anything really. If you did make hardware changes make sure everything is connected and running properly. As nolly stated most newer mobos will automatically shut down due to heat.

Now can you play any other games through steam? Can you play any games without steam?

This should be a good start. If the problem i'snt resolved theres a few more things you can try.

Just because someone gets 70+ kills in a game doesn't make them a cheater. As I have had plenty of 100+ games and I never have nor will I ever use a hack. Someone that actually uses 3rd party programs for aiming, wallhacking, god mode ect are hacks. Such as this guy here using a new and improved aimbot.

Hey Ueno,

Sorry you are having issues connecting to your friends when playing the game.

Make sure you have the in-game settings properly setup to allow for people to join or be invited to your party.

Next check your NAT setting. If you are on strict and your friend is on open, this could cause issues as well. So check both you and your friends nat settings and see what they are. With a good connection you should have open. So if you guys both have good internet and not on OPEN nat types, search for how to open them.

Can you guys play any other online games together?

If so, then it may be router settings as well. Search on the web for the ports that MW3 requires to play online. Also make sure you have Upnp enabled as this is used for online gaming.

If you cannot play other games with your buddy then it could be other settings you have that are blocked or not enabled.

Let me know if those work if not we will trouble shoot this further for you.

Yes, you can be banned for altering folder names and files. But just changing the sound folder to remove certain "audio" don't think they would do anything for that. As you are only removing in a sense ambient sound from the game to allow a better experience for yourself.
