CoD Elite problem for free members

I am a free member of CoD Elite and kinda want to start a Clan. But I keep reading you need to be a premium member to level a Clan or several features of Elite. The problem for me is that all the features for me, that require a premium membership....still need a premium membership. Since these features require a premium membership (most Clan stuff, Elite TV and others) and it's impossible to get one, am I SOL?

Scavenger: Collect Blue Packs to refill ammo for all guns, under barrel attachments and secondary launchers.

Scavenger Pro: Start with extra mags and one extra rocket, refill the lethel and tactical slot.

That is what Scavenger should be like. There is a counter to everything, tho not everyone thinks about it.

Blast Shield - reduces explosives damage and effects of Stun and Flash.

Trophy System - Destroys up to 2 of any Explosive except for Claymores...it can destroy Frags, Semtex, Betties (if you can put it down fast enough), I think it even can detroy a thrown C4 (only if it is thrown with the Trophy System up, not with it already places before hand), Stun, Flash (Not sure on Smoke and EMP nades), Pred Missiles, AGR Missiles, and can counter 2 of the AC-130 big bullets.

For those worried about the unlimited Claymores, Betties....HELLOOOO!!? Ever heard of Stalker Pro and Sit Rep? and Betties are easy if you go Prone the second you hear the click. If you repetedly die by running into Claymores and Betties and whine...you shouldn't play at all.

As for Portable Radar, Tact Inserts, Trophy Systems and all that jazz...Sit Rep...it will highlight them in Red...Assassin to counter Portable Radar too.

For 'Recon/Recon Pro spam'......Dead Silence or Dead Silence Pro (Forgot which counters Recon's effect) and Trophy System to counter.

Flash and Stun will disable Claymores, Betties, C4 and I think Portable Radar, for a short time...EMP nades will destroy them.

You can even use the Stinger against the Assault Drone.

Unless you use Specilist, I don't think Recon would be a problem with Nade Spam. And unless you forget, there is a counter to Nade and Explosive Spam and Recon.

Dead Silence = Makes Recon less effective.

Trophy System = Counters pretty much all type of explosive..Nades both lethel and tactical and all other explosives, except Claymore and maybe C4. Hell, it even counters Pred Drone, AC-130 and Pred Missiles! Sure it's limit is 2, but with the ability to refill it with my version of Scavenger, it'll be a great Tactical to run.

Problems with CoD Elite TV on PC?

I am having a huge issue with Elite TV. I am using a PC and I can't look up any videos on Elite TV. The Address in the Address Bar seems to spazz out, constantly switching between 2 different addresses and it basically slows my PC down to the point where it might as well be frozen. Is it just my PC or what?
