Instead, I might propose that an Assassin can't use the Specialist or Support Strike Packages. No, I think your idea would only be viable if Assassins had to risk going for Assault Strike Packages and failing to get them as a result of a single death.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Also, in addition to what I said at the beginning about Advanced UAV giving Assassins a weakness, I think now even that's not enough. But with the current system, they are rewarded even if they are off by a little or if the reticle isn't even on me to begin with. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Finally for the Assassin perk, it seems like every other player is using it and there aren't enough methods to counter it. The only known methods are the Recon perk and the Recon Drone pointstreak. Both are not used very often and they only work until the person dies. These counters are short-lived and are not all that useful or conductive. I remember someone commenting on how IW wasn't ready for the sheer number of players. The overload causes problems for everyone, not just you. I frequently get kicked because of server disconnections or because there's too much going on in the map via too many pointstreaks.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;As for the quickscopers, I too find it annoying especially if the sniper's reticle is off to point of not being on me at all. My advice here is to either block their vision with smoke grenades and not charge them head on. You could also try going prone as soon as you see the sniper. I wear glasses in real life so spotting people who blend into the scenery is more difficult for me, and Killcams aren't helpful because it doesn't tell you where they're going next. Use Recon and throw flashbangs before turning the corner. If you get them good, if not, they'll be marked on the map for your team to hunt down. Recon Drones (preferably used by a teammate) are also good too.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;2. Use a shogun (If you don't like them, equip one using the Overkill perk and a Specialist Strike Package).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;3. Are you using Stalker? The extra movement speed can help you literally stay one step ahead of them as you attack.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;4. Try using a combination of Assassin and Dead Silence. It hasn't come up until now (except for the occassional whiner on the other forum sections), but I believe it should be addressed. The Assassin Pro perk is simply too overpowered when compared to the other tier two perks. I don't think any perk should give &lt;em&gt;complete &lt;/em&gt;invisibility. When you look at the list of tier two perks like this, there seems to be only one way to go.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Quickdraw Pro&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; - Faster ADS&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; - Faster recovery from equipment usage&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Blast Shield Pro&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; - Reduced explosive damage&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; - Reduced stun and flash grenade damage&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Overkill Pro&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; - Carry a second primary weapon (No/With attachments)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Hardline Pro&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; - One less kill/point towards pointstreak&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; - Two assists = One point towards pointstreak&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Assassin Pro&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; - Immunity from UAV&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; - Immunity from Advanced UAV&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; - Immunity from Portable Radar&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; - Immunity from Counter UAV&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; - Immunity from EMP&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; - Immunity from Heartbeat Sensors&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; - Won't be highlighted by Thermal Scopes&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; - No red name or crosshair when targeted&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;A perk that gives you eight abilities as opposed to two for the others is far too much. I'm well aware that the Recon perk and Recon Drone pointstreaks can negate Assassin's usefulness but I do not believe that to be enough. Once a marked Assassin dies, they regain their invisibility. Sure you could mark them again but since Recon Drones show up on the minimap, they'll just avoid them or shoot them down. That's why I have two possible solutions. The first is to make Assassin Pro users vulnerable to Advanced UAVs. The second is to create a gametype list that doesn't allow this perk at all just like Black Ops does for players who are sick of Ghost Pro and Second Chance Pro abusers.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games, you've made a great game. I enjoy it very much. I just think it needs to be balanced better and that by considering my ideas, you'll do just that. If anyone else out there in the gaming community agrees, give a reply (But keep it clean; We want the developers to take notice).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:758cb680-849e-4e4a-a358-967c5a93be2e] --&gt;</description>
