Well, Treyarch-guys are doin' some good stuff to prevent tubing. For instance, there'll be flack jaket, and scavenger won't resupply ammo for grenade and rocket launchers. I'd better look at RC-XD. From now it's look like kinda imbalance - people will need only 3 kills (2 if you've got Hardline) and it's very fast and dangerous.

Well yes, you guys did lots of good work in rethinking of perks in W@W. But this perk, along with the marty, is a bit of a cheat. Those who use it just asking a good punch in their face, IMO.
ONTOP: do want PRO version of perks. Flack Jacket as Jugger PRO gonna be awesome.

the question is, why did this "confirmation" come from a third party source? Why didn't Activision or Infinity Ward go out with this information instead?

Um, I know what that means when they have to add a qualifier like "officially".

As in, for the longest time "officially" the US did not conduct any combat operations in Laos during the Vietnam war.
Officially = something we are currently willing to admit in public.

have you even played cod 4? that 60 is spare ammo all those lines to left of it is the ammo in the clip which is 30, so red dot+silencer and thats it
