I love it when people cry about camping, it just shows me on how well they can't adapt to change. There is the right and wrong time to camp. But so far it doesn't matter what you are doing to be called a camper.

This one match I was following my team mate and he put up a turret, he got killed which told me that someone was close by. Being that he was able to enable it before he died I used it as bait. I waited for the enemy to go after the turret, and sure enough he did but he died by me knowing what he was going to do. It just happened to be the final kill, and it only showed me waiting for the kill and I was called a camper. What they didn't see was me running behind my team mate after I spawned back in.

I am mostly aware of my surroundings, and for that I'm called a camper. I patrol an area, and get called a camper. I can be running n gunning the entire match and get called a camper because I know someone's around the corner and wait for them to pop around the corner Rambo style. Just because you run n gun doesn't mean you have to be a idiot about it and run blindly around a corner.

Yes I will also pick up a sniper and fully camp a entire match, but I do it mainly to hold down a area for my team mates.

This is a fps, a military fps at that, no its not a simulation but the same tactics that the military use can be used in thus game effectively. Anyone that crystal about camping is a noob in my book. They need to return their game for pacman, oh wait they might also say that Clyde is corner camping.

The thing is this is a fps game, running n gunning is just as much as a play style as camping, you can not complain about camping unless you are going to complain about run n gunning. Its two sides of the same coin. You are not going to get rid of campers, you are not going to get rid of running n gunning.

The store that sold the game to the parent knowing that it was going to be played by a child should be at fault as much as the parent. The store needs fined, the clerk fired, and the parent put through a mental evaluation.

Very rarely have i seen a store not sell a game to a parent when they know its going to be played by a child. Have them come out and test the outside lines.

Just a thought, have you reset your modem, as in unplugging it from power and let it sit for a few minutes and plug it back in (known as power cycling your network gear). Even though it still sounds like line issues.

You know when you are in the online portion of the menu when you press triangle it shows where you friends are at (main menu, pre game lobby, in a party and so on), if the friends in game location doesn't update before he sends you a invite you will get a error from a invalid session, or if you try to join him and his status hasn't changed it will give you the same error when trying to join.

Everything is getting worse as time goes on, there always has been lag in the player location status update from day one, sometimes it can take up to 10 seconds, sometimes it can take a minute, and can even not update at all. In black ops players location updated almost instantly every time.

From what i understand is that MW3 shares the same servers that the older cod games currently use, why in the hell would the latest cod be using the same server as the rest of the cod and not its own which would be dedicated to only MW3 (i am talking about matchmaking and so on, not actual game play hosting).

Re: Modern Warfare 3 Disc Read Error

Sorry but a game doesn't damage the system anymore then what another game does, the issue here is a defective disk, a failing system, or a damaged disk. This game alone does not cause extra damage then what any other game would. Maybe the systems be drive isn't healthy and it doesn't like how data gets loaded off the disk. About the only thing you can do is ask for a replacement game disk. What people don't seem to understand is that optical drives brake down over time and can stop reading disks. Some are not operating normally and can have issues reading a certain disk but can really others just fine due to hoe data is loaded off the disk.

I'm not saying that is the case every time but is the case quite a few times. The people with new systems and have disk read errors could be from a faulty disk, or damaged disk. You don't have to see a scratch for a disk to be damaged, there is the data layer side as well(the side with the logo) if any part of that gets bumped or scratched in any way it will do the same thing.

You will never get activision to replacement e your systems, the game disk yeah, but not the system because of the above reasons.

The only way one does work on these forums is if activision or a developer creates one for people to sign. A normal user petition is pointless and a waste of space here. If you want something to get noticed then contact activision support.
