Android App Clan Issue

Hello all. I'm hoping on getting a response from someone from Beach Head on this since they make the Elite app. I recently upgraded to the latest version of the Call of Duty Elite app on my Android phone. Although, I've had the same issue with the previous version and a version for my old Apple iPhone. When I'm logged into the app and try to access the Clan HQ, it says that I'm not a member of a clan. I've been a member of a clan for over a year. Anyone else been experiencing this? Anything I can do to fix it or is this an app issue?

I pre-ordered online. So, I'm hoping that it won't be hard to upgrade if they come out with a Hardened or Prestige edition(s). I don't know if you can order online and then upgrade in store or vice versa.

I have an Xbox and a PS3 and play MW3 on both of them. I used a combination of Port Forwarding, Port Range Forwarding, and Port Triggering to open up my NAT's on both consoles. The way things are setup right now, my PS3 has an Open NAT and my Xbox has a Moderate NAT.

I've noticed that my matches run a lot smoother and seem to have less lag on the Xbox whereas the PS3 still seems to have lag.

I'm not saying that this idea is correct, but there's defintely some evidence pointing in the right direction.

I would like to know as well. I want to pre-order BO2 at GameStop to take advantage of some special offers, but I don't want to pre-order now when there might be a Hardened Edition coming out in the future.

I just tried to enter my Founder code today and got a "Code Error" "Please try again later" message. Looks like they still haven't fixed it.

Yep, I just tried to redeem my Founder's code today and got the same thing: "Code Error" "Please try again later".

Yes, that is rediculous. Elite is sooo slow on a PC AND the people never receive half of the clan invites anyway. The console app should do everything that Elite on the PC can do.

I only have 8, but have sent invites to about 14 others. I think I figured it out, though. If the person doesn't have an Elite account, you can't add them to the clan. This was confusing me because I would still see their playercard for MW3, but there would be no Elite Summary tab.

However, the other part of the problem is many of the people aren't receiving my invite. I instruct them to check Elite via a PC since the invites don't work on the PS3 app. Either way, I've had to "re-send" a number of invites. Oh well, I guess that's for a different post.

I manage the LEGN PS3 clan. I have about 25 people wanting to join. I try to add each person by first searching for them in Elite. When i find them, only certain people have the "Invite to Clan" button. Others only have the "Track" and "Compare" buttons. Also, there are those that I know for a fact that play MW3 and their profile will say that they don't have a gamer card for MW3 because they haven't played it. Anyone else running into this problem of not being able to invite people to their clan?

Let me tell you something, this lag compensation is serious crap. To those of you who claim that there is no problem with lag compensation and we're all just a bunch of players who actually suck and are whining about it... bullshit. Let me tell you what I've seen...

It wasn't so bad when the game first came out. When MW3 first came out, I could live with how well I played or how much I sucked during any one match. In the past few weeks, things have gotten much worse. What I notice is that I can unload a magazine into an opponent's chest and yet still have them shoot me with about two rounds (or more) and I'm the one who's dead. Yes, that's right. I can actually watch my rounds make the hit and HEAR the hits happening. It used to be that this would happen once every other match or so. I could live with it. Now, it happens in almost every match.

Here's the second part of the story: I got into the Theater and played back one of the matches. I fast forwarded to that kill I just told you about. Lo and behold, the replay shows my opponent hitting me with about six or more rounds before I am able to fully raise my rifle. That is definitely NOT what happened during the game. Something fishy?

Just to let you know, I have a 3MB DSL connection. I thought, "Hmm.. maybe if I get cable internet, that might fix it." Nope. I spoke to my friend who lives across town and he has a 12MB cable connection. He has the EXACT same problem. We even are getting connected to servers with <50 or <75 ping.

So, yes. There is DEFINTELY a problem with lag compensation. Those of you who don't experience it, well... I have no idea why. But, many of us out there are experiencing it. And let me tell you, it's seriously hurting my K/D ratio. Trust me, I don't suck. I'm not claiming to be the best out there, but I'm definitely not one who sucks at this game yet cries when I loose. I just wish things could be fair again.

Come on developers... let's fix this crap once and for all. I say get rid of the lag compensation. If you have a slow connection, oh well. Spend the few extra bucks a month and upgrade.
