I'm not talking conboy. I'm talking those big guys. Woody, nanners, hutch, wings, etc. Half the people don't even know about the Wii U version of CoD. If one big just just randomly has a flying pointer in the video, everyone will think it looks cool as **** and will be like wtf and look it up and realize it's cod on the wii u. And they will be like "looks so realistic with aiming with a gun" and buy it.

I was playing Halo 1 at 8, BF1942, loved em both, never wanted to shoot someone. If you play under 17, it doesn't mean you can't handle the violence.

I think you guys just use the M+ as an excuse to get whiny kids out of the community and away from their mics. That's a valid reason, but don't just blame a parent for being horrible and buying them a video game, saying it's too gory, etc. I bet if mario kart had mics, you'd hear the same thing. Now I haven't played mario kart multi, but I'll assume it doesn't have mics.

It doesn't have to be exactly like real life. It may be a sniper, but it has to adapt to the small maps of this game. If the snipers had to sit in the back of the map, it would be incredibly unfun and unfair for them. If you want more "campy" type of sniping, play battlefield. Don't expect a game to make itself less enjoyable because a sniper is less than realistic.

Besides, if a sniper was really that good, you'd see more people using it than SMGs.

"Wii U Black Ops II" Is Not As Bad As Made Out To Be. This game offers the same, enjoyable Call of Duty experience.

The Wii U version of "Black Ops II" is actually not that bad in comparison to the other console versions. With slightly better lighting and graphics, Wiimote controls, tight community that developers constantly interact with, and similar core gaming experience, this version of the game is equal to the other platform versions of this game. The Wii U has its own pros and cons, however the cons themselves are insignificant if looked at more closely.

Let's focus on the cons of this version.

A) Less playable game modes due to lack of players

B) Lag?

C) No Elite

D) No DLC

Wow, that actually wasn't really that much now that you look at it. You could add in Wiimote/DA community division, but that's not a game-related con. That's a community problem, and also creates the HUGE PRO of Wii U Exclusive FPS motion controls. However, I will not be focusing on cross-platform related issues because we are comparing the Wii U version of this game to the other versions.

Less playable game modes. More of an annoyance than a big problem . Unfortunately, this is a problem that the developers themselves can only influence through advertising and marketing, but not fix.

Now I thought I'd address lag because it is a major topic of discussion, albeit a cross-platform issue. See, lag is an issue experienced by all platform versions of this game. The amount of lag problems does not vary greatly between versions. All the other consoles complain about lag, and that's just something that we as a CoD community have to learn to adjust to and handle (and maybe notify the developers about).

Now Elite. Yes, the Wii U version does not have Elite. However, that itself does not affect core gameplay experience and something most of us would not even use. What do you use elite for? Stats? You can view your stats in-game (although the lack of knife stats in-game frustrates me), and there's no real necessity to check your stats off-game. Custom Class changing? If your custom class change only takes effect in-game, wouldn't you rather quickly set up your custom class in game? The only real use for the Elite custom class editor is if you're a glitcher who likes to perform custom class glitches (ahh...my MW3 double riot shield days). You might use Elite a few times, but in the end, it's just a gimmick (just like the Wii U gamepad, although the gamepad is a very well-made and interactive gimmick! ).

The big one. DLC. Now, lack of DLC may seem like a major drawback to this game, but in reality, it doesn't hinder gameplay experience. Think about it. A few new guns and maps. But really, how many times are you going to use that Peacekeeper? It's not as if that gun is something that you need to use and love. After so many uses, it will just be like any other gun. Same as new maps. Are those new maps really that revolutionary? Do you actually think that adding in a few new maps will renew your love for Call of Duty? Those new maps will just seem like the original map set after playing them many times. They are not as innovating and amazing as some players make it out to be. They are fine additions, but not required for an enjoyable gaming experience.

Speaking of DLC, DLC in fact would actually do more harm than good . Think about how many players are online right now. 4000? Now let's we get lucky and 10% of the community actually buys the DLC. The DLC will only be bought by the dedicated Call of Duty fans and people with money to throw out. Do you think it is hard enough to find a match right now on Non-TDM/Dom? Think again with DLC. With DLC, the only game mode that people would be able to find a match in would be Team Deathmatch, and even that would be limited. So few people in perspective of our small community would actually purchase the DLC that most other game modes would be empty. Also, did you shoot 10 bullets into that guy but he didn't die? Now imagine that, but paired against someone halfway across the globe, almost every match, because the player distribution and lack of players would force you to be matched with people far away. Adding DLC to this game would begin a whole new list of problems regarding connection and more empty game modes.

How do you cope with these differences? By realizing that this game has its own distinctive differences between platforms. The problems that this game has are neglegible and made up with the extra perks that this game has. This game has been polished and made as best as it could be by the dedicated Wii U DEV TEAM. Never before have I seen such close interaction between members of the community and developers themselves. This game is constantly being improved upon through community feedback and has the same support as the Xbox version of this game. We have our own tight community that gets patches ported over from the Xbox team roughly around the same time that they come out on Xbox. All of the core gameplay experience that the Xbox has is matched on the Wii U version of this game. Whichever extra features you would like to enjoy from a Call of Duty game is solely based on preference. If you really enjoy DLC, many people with mics, and easier party system, then buy this game for the Xbox. If you really love Nintendo and can't play without a wiimote or enjoy the gamepad screen, pick up the Wii U version. This game isn't "almost the Xbox version". This is "Call of Duty: Black Ops II" with a different and unique gameplay experience than that offered by the other versions of this game .

How can we help improve this game? The first thing we should understand is that the Wii U team cannot directly change gameplay mechanics, only Wii U-specific issues due to patch-porting compatibility. The Xbox team that does port over patches, however, has a massive community that shares the same opinions that Wii U players have. If we feel that a gun is OP, then they think it is OP, too, so we can expect them to help improve our game through porting their patches. Discussion on these topics is okay, but attacking the Wii U DEVS for not fixing is unfair. We can, however, help fix Wii U specific problems. By creating proper and respectful threads, we can try to make this game the best "Black Ops II" it can be.

You take your time to wait for an enemy. It's not too exciting, but more peaceful waiting. The reward would be when your waiting pays off and you get the kill and annoy the hell out of the enemy.

Not a camper. On their screen, you were exposed because you haven't adjusted to face them directly on their perspective. In mw2 where connection is great, the shield does fine.

It's not as easy as you think. You only notice the 1 time where the person runs through and knifes you, but you forget the 10x you sprayed him down with the PDW/AR/whatever.

When you decide to be a knifer, you make a subtle agreement to have you k/d below or slightly above 1. K/d in BO1, .8. K/d in MW3, .7. K/d in BO2, 1.09. In reality, the only time you actually get knifed is if you'rs camping without a shock charge/claymore etc. Or if you're a really bad shot. An average player should be able to take out the average knifer consistently. But when the knifer kills them one time, suddenly the knife is OP.

In reality, almost all situations I could've killed someone with the knife by sneaking around, I could've killed them even easier with a gun. I have to flee from ranged battles, avoid shotgunners, and be precise with ever knife. Along with the tiny range in this game, the wiimote has 0 lunge, making it frustrating to slice someone's side and dying because they back up and spray me down. Which is like 50% of head on encounters. Usually the knifer ends up trying to dosidoe around the enemy but somehow always loses and the shooter kills him. If you die by a knife,

A)you were standing still and didn't notice

B)you moved predictably and had bad aim

C) I got lucky

Think about it like a sniper. They're not really strong like SmGs. You don't use them when tryharding. But when someone quickscopes you that one time even after they missed 20 times, you only notice that one quickscope and call it OP
