Why Not More Guns? How About More Guns via the DLC?

Hi Guys,

so every one of these games and i keep asking myself the same question, why dont we have more guns? and why only 4 shotguns? hell even modern warfare had more and that game wasnt the best out there for sure.

Why not have more guns added to the game with each DLC? I understnad balacing needs to be done, but whats the issue thats why you have engineers and devs making 250K-300K a year, just do it yea?

Other games do it? looks at mass effect, the release new guns with their DLC? whats the point of just new maps with no new toys to play with? My point here is, this is a SHOOTER, this being said, we should have lots of options to shoot with, not just a limited amount of guns. You also pushed this thing intot he "future" well open up the reigns a bit give more options for guns, especially the assult rifles, they really suffered this year, even I who am an avid assault rifle user had to put em down for an SMG, which is kind of unreal.

Love the game but these sublties that help.

anyone else seeing the same things with lack of primary guns?

Hmm...dude i share some of your frustrations, but its the oposite based on clear stats. Halo LOST the throne of TOP FPS because of the lack of skill needed to play that game.

This is war(in game speak) when i point my gun @ something, no amount of "OVERSHIELD" and INVIS should save me. Its just a different type of game. but it does get frustrating like all hell when you get in a rut, but dude the game can be fun once you get in a groove.

MW3 was DEFINITLY a CUT/PASTE from mw2, which was just a waste of my 64 dollars. but Blackops and black ops II, isnt just rhetoric, they actually make changes and listen to what fans want, which pretty decent.

Yep agreed - Scorestreaks changed the game, so now people actually PLAY the dam game. bravo.

Dude so something is definitly up with that CLAN HQ page. I cant even create a clan, so i cant get past the first screen, i mean nothing happens. I'm not sure of they just dont care, but i do agree that this really sucks that we do spend good money on this game. HELL I BOUGHT THE EFFIN CAREPACKAGE edition because i'm such a fan, but it seems their operations center or tehcnical support needs some more help/staffing or maybe no one gives a crap.

go to https://support.activision.com/Contact_Us and try to open up a support case or call in. I spend 55 minutes on hold sunday bit didnt get much help other than a few suggestions, the tech was awesome but i think this problem is beyond level 1 support and needs the attention of a web developer/webmaster. the site IS NOT WORKING properly. ESPECIALLY WITH CLANS. ACTIVISION PLEASE HELP!

BUMP!! - Anyone? any ideas? anyone able to create a clan from CLAN HQ page over the last day or so? Whats the URL you use toe create a new clan? maybe i'm at the wrong location @ the page, i'm reaching here, but i'll take any advice or suggestions...

Hey dude, when did you create the clan saturday? i cant even get past the create a clan page, seriously. let me know how recently you were able to use the CLAN HQ page successfully.

As for your issue with the usage of clans and invites, it seems clearly based on a number of other posts that there are some major issues with clan operations.

try going to https://support.activision.com and opening a support case for elite, maybe if they see enough cases on this they will pay attention to us with these clan page issues.

Yea, so i second that. I think we just need to keep opening cases until someone in support starts to listen and gets a developer to look into the CLAN HQ page, paron my french but IT AINT WORKIN' guys. please see the posts from these users, something is wrong.

Guys go to https://support.activision.com and open a support case with this CLAN HQ page issue. Nothing works proerly on that page especially NOT create a clan!

Hi Guys,

I was wondering is anyone else is having this problem. I create a support case, went through all the siggested stpes(detailed below) however no positive results. So i stared looking in the page code and i've added all my comments below.My last comment on the case was a few minutes ago, the case was opened this morning so i doubt we'll get an answew.

i go to https://elite.callofduty.com/connect simpyl attempt to create a clan. Type in a name, nothing. it isnt a name thing or, browser, or PC, or account thing. we went through all of that with support. So i'm wondering if we have any Javascript gurus who can help debunk what I suggested below please?

This really sucks not beign able to create a clan. Let me know if anyone has any suggestions or comments on my support case that can help. Thanks everyone.

Good Morning, My Name is Walt, I'm an Elite Founder member - In an attempt to actually try to use the service I am attempting to create a clan however that seems to not be possible. I've tried using Firefox, Chrome and IE with the same results: I navigate to https://elite.callofduty.com/connect#create-a-clan enter a clan name, then click the "Forward Arrow" the Flash or actionscript just shows me a quick 2 second load then returns no results, no message of any sort, nothing happens. I get no popups, and no load into the next screen, I am also not blocking any action scripts in my browser for the Elite site. Can someone assist me in resolving this? I'd like to get a clan started asap. thank you for your time.

But here's all i could find. Ok Guys, so the "Arrow/button" for creating a clan is suppose to load the HREF below in your code "href="#create-a-clan" HOWEVER this action is NOT even initiating. If it doesn't work then its supposed to provide an error message Also noted below but since the load of the javasriopt wont even initialize, because the button appears to be null or the PHP/ASP shortcode to "href="#create-a-clan" is dead, i get no error message. The button simply isn't working. Someone really needs to check the DIV elements, it just does nothing but load a little ajax for 1 second then stops working. I've found all the element codes but also found one thing troubleing. under the CLAN H! the link is once you click CREATE-A-CLAN is strange. it reads "https://elite.callofduty.com/connect#suggest" no matter what i click I see that URL in the bar. Should it NOT instead readhttps://elite.callofduty.com/connect#create-a-clan as the Codes and scripting below suggest(it should at least change to this after i click right). well it doesn't. 11/25/2012 6:44 PM	W	Hi, I called into the call center, worked with Josh today, in regards to this we did the following, but it did NOT resolve the problem, so at this point this is something outside of my browser and my account. 1: Unlinked XBOX Account, then We cleared web-browser (Firefox) ALL CACHE, logged out of Elite account, closed browser restarted. signed in - No change still unable to Create a clan 2: Josh then suggested I create a new account, as this trouble may be directly associated with my current and Only account.. So, I did exactly that. I unlinked my account, then signed up with a new email address, relinked my account, played a new match on xbox, then attempted to create a clan. Still the same EXACT results of when i had my original account. I type in a clan name, clock the Forward arrow, I see a quick Ajax load animation, then nothing happens, no error message, no new page, nothing. Can someone please have an engineer or a webmaster (not sure if this is a network issue) look into whats going on? Also - NONE of my friends can create clans either. so I'm not just loosing my own mind.

Hey Whats up Man.

Can you clarify what you mean by not working? what exactly works on your Phone's app that doesnt work on your laptop?

Some general things to try(depending on your web browser) Clear you cashe(everything)

I have been having some issues with creating a clan, but other than that the Elite site appears otherwise functional for me for stat checking and looking at elite TV and other Black ops 2 related issues.
