I think we should have both. Dedi servers aren't perfect either. With P2P I get to play with my friends in CA, or EU for that matter. I'm not going to do a dedi on the west coast, etc. With dedi I play the same people over and over all the time, and you have to find a "Christian" server to be sure it's not hacked

no biggy. The people who play this game are Type A, high energy, aggressive types mostly. It would be nice if we could just keep on the field, but it's something we live

Thank you:) but there are a number of things tha can cause that... That freezing thing sound like heat. You can update your video driver too. Try new/different ram if you have access to it. Unplug everything and plug it back in. Clean your computer out every year or so, and I mean take it apart and blow the dust out:)

The kids are out of school. The cheating will be better after August. It's the kids that cheat for the most part. If you are over age 16 and still cheating, you need to be in counseling... seriously

Get in with a clan of good people. When folks are playing, they are there to play, your lessons happen other places. 360 players have more time to help because console play is just lame, requires little skill, and those players aren't as passionate as PC players. Do you have some friends that play? Where are you?

I'd suggest you become the consummate camper. There's nothing wrong with it, and that style will work toward your strengths. Learn to use Radar and the team mates around you. Study the technique.

You have to figure out what motherboard you have. Go to the site and get the manual, probably a PDF. It will tell you how to go about it. There isn't just one way. It depends on the manufacturer and the BIOS version. It must be a newer motherboard, so it should be easy. It's probably a download from the site and could be an executable file. I can't tell what MB it is from the pic... ASUS? but it should be easy. It'll fix it. That's a known problem with the FX processors.

You need to consult your motherboard manual. Don't screw that up, you can lose everything. Most MB companies have made that much easier and safer these days.

suggest you re-seat your ram. Verify the game files.

If you have an AMD FX____ processor, update your motherboard BIOS.

If that doesn't work, repeat "Oculus Reparus" 3 times and throw salt over your left shoulder.

It is worse right now than it has ever been. The toasters don't care and aren't afraid because IW takes no responsibility for their game and customer's experience. Use a gray scale to set up your monitor. Then if you need to make adjustments. http://accad.osu.edu/~aprice/courses/752/blacklevel.html

I find that if I set it up correctly, the "lights" get washed out a little and the darks can be too dark. I am a graphic artist by trade, but I have a seperate game computer just because of it's unique requirements. I think I run my game monitor with the "darks" a little lighter. I know I have to lighten my youtube videos a couple of clicks after I upload them, every time.

A couple of simple things:

Heat can cause that.

BIOS update is a good place to start. Also the FX-xxx series AMD cpu's have a known problem with that, and you have to update your BIOS to fix it.

yup, the first 3 games I entered last night were hack fests:) IW better do something. It's as bad as it has ever been right now.
