You're more likely to get knifed that to kill someone with a shotgun.
Shotguns Need a Boost

I'm usually not one to complain, and I'm not without reason here, but it seems to me that shotguns are at an extreme disadvantage when compared to other Call of Duty games. They are horrible this time around for so many reasons.

First off, the hit detection is way off. I can be aiming right at the guy and still get a hit marker. And with a pump action shotgun, you can't afford to get a hit marker with all the other weapons being more powerful. Also, unlike in MW2, the maps aren't exactly tailored towards shotgun use. 90% of the maps I've played don't even have any CQ sections, most of them being tailored to assault rifle standards.

The worst part of all: Take a close quarters situation between a shotgun and a sniper, you're better off no-scoping with a sniper.

Go try it out. This problem has to be addressed.

I'm not just pro-shotguns, and I'm not hating on the snipers who run around quicscoping because I can see that the maps aren't designed for actual sniping either. I was really looking forward to this game, but every map is hands down and assault rifle's battleground.

Do Parents Even Read Game Ratings?

This goes for both parents and players alike.

I have been playing these "violent" shooter games for most of my life starting with Ghost Recon 2 back when I was twelve. I would play online and sometimes even play splitscreen with my dad and he was always one to start swearing when he'd get spawn-killed. Now I've been playing COD for a long time and I don't do that. Not every kid takes after their parents. These days, I hardly believe that parents are as influential as the rest of the world.

Looking back at the official post, you didn't target all parents, only a select few. Then why should you target all underage players? It's a lost cause, this will always happen. That's why we have a mute option and the ability to report/block other players.

Remember, not all underage players are immature and not all adults are mature.

KrisG10 wrote:

the main problem is that the rifles in MW2 are so overpowered...its kind of like having stopping power on steroids all of the time, and then having the option of using stopping power. The rifles also have NO recoil. What does all of this mean? NO run n' gun and NO sniping...these are the two things i was best at in W@W and COD4. Im not speaking for anybody else, this is just what I have observed and is my opinion

If you're talking about the snipers, they are seriously not overpowered. The barrett is 2 shot kill without stopping power, even to the chest. Now add a silencer to that for those who want to be tactical, and it takes 3 shots if you're using a perk other than stopping power. Personally, I don't think sniping is a dead art in MW2 it's just that people want to be good at it, so they opt for the easiest kill gun. Give it a few weeks and MW2 will be thriving with snipers. It's also got a lot of beautiful spots to snipe from that people just do not care about.

If I have any complaint about MW2 it's that there is only one bolt action rifle, the Intervention. That's one of the best features in WAW the collection of Bolties, but other than that, I would have to go with MW2.

juggernaut isn't nearly as powerful as everyone makes it out to be.
I don't know if they changed it, but lately I've noticed it isn't as annoying as usual.

When I read the title, I thought it would have something to do with artillery replacing recon when you don't call it in. That would make more sense if you could hold on to all the kill streaks you got that way if you're in the middle of a firefight, you don't have to get rid of your artillery to get dogs.

I know I shouldn't be giving advice due to my low K:D ratio, but that means nothing. I share my account with others, because I don't care. I'll be on top of the leaderboards in TDM most of the time, unless I have my scheduled lag time (6:30-8:00) where I can't even join a match without it taking forever.

Anyways, Leave your sensitivity at 3-4 if you want accuracy, only go higher if you're gonna be using a scope all the time or spraying like a knob.

From what I can see in the video, you don't have to shoot at all, unless you want to.
People get so worked up over this, I say leave it there. They did say that the level could be skipped if you don't want to play it, so don't go dissing the whole game over one level that gives you a perspective of the group you seek to eliminate. And apparently you are an undercover agent.

They can't really remove it without delaying the game and that would piss off a lot of people who are just in it for the multiplayer. (aka 70% of people)

Besides, that level was the basis of their teaser trailer. It wouldn't make sense without it.

Calm down. It's just a game. Look at GTA. 'Nuff said.
