The UMP is not a laser gun at long range. At all. The bullets do not fire in straight line like the ACR if you hold the trigger down.

UMPs have nowhere near the long range accuracy of ACR or SCAR for example. The thing was only useful up close, and only because it does do a lot of damage. It has a crappy clip size compared to P90, and a slower fire rate, but makes up for it in close range damage. So you lose to a submachine gun at close range. I don't see the problem here.

I'm with him, you can choose one, and then that also goes with, do you want your gun silenced? Do you want another attachment on it? Is it worth giving up extended mags for a little less recoil? It's all a decision, you can still be easily outsprayed from somebody with extended mags.
