Treyarch has been known to be super bad with their PC product.

They f*cked up the Performance in Black Ops 1 (everyone know that, and it took them half of a year to fix it), and they fu(ked up the connection on Black Ops 2.

I can't believe that they stick me to the sever on the East Coast when i am on the West Coast, i have to play with the 120-130ms ping plus with their bad hit detection, which is unacceptable with a high-traffic game like CoD.

There is a youtube video somewhere, which a dude break down the connection lag in BO2 with the PS3 system using dual screen. And he recored somewhere like 30-40MS lag on his own system without any any others outside effetct (where the game suppose to have 0MS lag)

MW3 was blamed to be having bad connection, i found myself in 3 bar game in MW3 a lot and still had flawless game.

And with a "Vahn" dude never ever pay attention to the PC Community , i don't see they ever gonna change this right now. They lied to us right off the bat with the "Black Ops 2 has the Dedicated Sever" (what is the point of calling it dedicated sever if you can't see it and browse it manually?)

Nah, Lag Compensation in MW3 was terrible at some point but it was good overall for me. In Black Ops 2... meh... i don't really know what went wrong though beacuse now the game play on the favor of the guy who is closet to their sever.

MW2 was horrible in term of support, i never deny it. Hackers ruin MW2.

But MW3, it was a lot better and i did enjoy it a lot more on PC.

Well, i think he was trying to say that Activision will just run for the money and make the PC gamers piss off and therefore hopefully they will run to XBOX world to play the game.

But the world is not that simple my friend.

Activision doesn't make the game, the studio does. And Activision knows that PC gamers won't just buy an extra $450 worth of hardware and Services just to play one game they like when they have a beast Rig themselves. So that won't work.

A Hardcore PC gamer like me, who have been playing FPS on PC for over 10 years will never do that.

In this matter, is about Treyach and their suck-ass skill at finishing the game. Their product always have nice innovation, but they always suck at finishing it for PC.

PC gamers know they have a lot of choice when talking about shooters, i am not starting a war here but Battlefield 3 last year was a huge title and it sucks away a lot of PC gamers as well. Activision loves money, like every others company, they know if they want to make $, they will have to please people on both major platforms (XBOX 360, PS3, PC) so people will buy the game. Just sad that we are (PC Community) are just the smallest and elite group who still support this game. They must feel that they won't make a lot from making thing for PC Community. I have been playing this game since COD2 on XP, i will support this title when it still last and i know a lot of you guys here willing to do the same thing , but in returns , we would like to get the same support like what they are doing for Consoles.

With me, i will say this could be my last pre-order for any Call of Duty that Treyach makes for PC.

BTW: Pulling off Nuketown 2025 from Normal Playlist is the biggest "F*CK YOU" that Treyarch can give to fans who pre-ordered this game. IW hasn't done such thing.

Alright, so... the game is out... everyone was excited, even me who hardly ever touch the broken Black Ops for PC. You might not agree with everything i say here but it is fine, because it touches a lot of thing that only PC gamers know. Treyarch did some good thing and also bad thing.

1. Treyarch lies about Dedicated Severs. Alright, this one is a little bit tricky but here is my view of what "Dedicated Severs supported" is:

- The ability to pick whichever severs the player want to join from the sever browser carelessly about whoever provided the severs.

So does Black Ops 2 have that? So far i haven't seen anything call "Sever browser" in this game so far. I don't give a cr@p about who controll the severs or where it is located, i just want to choose the sever i want to play with the ping i know that it would be the best for me to play in. So what is the point of calling "Dedicated Sever supported" when you can't even choose which sever to play?

2. Lag Compensation is TERRIBLE. I know some of you guys will say this is being working on and i will also accept that is a temp answer for this , but why? It is back to the "Treyarch's high bandwidth severs" again. So far , i will say this game has the worst hit-registration ever.

3. Performance : this is the area i find Treyarch did OK. Better than the first Black Ops for PC which was HORRIBLE if you are the PC gamers and you played that game in the first 6 months. Nice FOV Adjust for PC, also smooth gameplay. Nice to see lean support as well. But there is one area that the studio might need to improve : The audio section. I have the True 5.1 system and i can't quite figure it out which setting is the best . Supercrunch is what i currently have.

4. Gun Optimization : Meh... back in the day when people still rumor about Treyarch making SMG less powerful and can't become what MP7 is in MW3. Turn out to be quite true. The SMGs sure as hell does have recoils when ADS and it makes the Lasers attatchment and Grip attachment become popular. Then it leads to another problem. The map design on BO2 is so dumb, that you will find yourself in a lot of CQB than you will ever find in any others game. The map themselves is not small but the way they design it will always have hotspot for all the SMG running. And because of that , the hip-firing on SMGs become so popular and it kills the gameplay. Everybody hip-fire in this game, i can't even find a match that nobody have SMG with laser sight on it (or at least an SMG). Assault Rifle guys like me often find ourselves out-played by SMGs guys because of the map design. The Middle-Long Range sight are very rare in BO2.

I find it extremly uncomfortable in a room when i hold an Type-25 and the others hold either the MSMC or Skorpion because 95% i will lose the gunfight upon those hip-firing players. And beacuse it is PC, People can hip-fire you damn fast and you wont even have a chance to ADS to fire back.

5. Steam-Compatible:

I don't know if you use Steam Overlay that much but i find the game crash a lot whenever i want to try a quick web browsing form Steam Overlay ( it nevers cause any kind of error on MW3 and any other games)

6. Objective-reward for players : this is the true selling point of this game for me. I have been a huge Objective player myself and this is a good deal. Treyach did it right from what IW has started with rewarding players for doing objectives.

7. Hack-encouter: this probably the first COD since COD4 on PC that i haven't experienced hackers in the launch day.

8. Footstep sound: if you don't run Dead Silence, your character wear like jingle bells when you runs and if you run dead-silence and the others don't use it ? You cant hear them either. Which is BS. I would like Treyarch to fix this.

Currently i have to drop BO2 because of the fact that i lose too many unfair gunfight because of hip-firing players and lag compensation. It just make you play the game under pressure and that is not what the game suppose to do. Or if you want me to get it straight : it is easier to deal with a FMG9 Akimbo *** than dealing with the whole team hip-firing. Will see if Treyarch ever consider to readjust the SMG...

Hmm... i was about to post this myself.

I dropped BO2 for a moment, because Treyarch fools PC community about the truth of Dedicated Severs, Very Bad Lag Compensation, SMG Hip-Fire OP (Everybody Hip-Fire in that god damn game), Gun Balance are off the chart...

I dont know why i still held my hope for Treyarch and still pre-ordered it... I played it far less than i played MW3 in the first 2 weeks. Every games feel like i play it under pressure and just want the match to end.

i don't belive COD 4 support Controller... But anyway, you are a PC gamer doesn't mean you can't do well with the controller.

It is just me who have been playing with PC since i was a kid and had not touched the controller until very recently.

I am just expressing my own experience from a view of a hardcore PC gamer.

I am not trying to say that my experience must be the same for everyone, i know that.

I have been playing PC shooters for over 10 years, you can start that with Quake back in the day before i started to go all the way with Counter Strike series (start with v1.1)

My experience on PC with MW3 is totally different from what i experienced on XBOX. I don't say that there are campers on PC but it doesn't happen all the time. But on XBOX, people camp every game i play. My whole strategy for each maps are based on the way the game flow on PC, but on Consoles, people will just duck in somewhere and hope for a guy running around looking for heat spot of the map and just blow the head off.

And even with Campers , i don't have a hard time to deal with them at all, maybe not you who play on consoles for most of the time and not too familiar with the mouse, With the mouse in less than half of a second, a good PC gamers can zero you in and ready to fire back. With some good Rifle like the M4A1 or ACR, it makes the deal even easier.

Talking about FPS on PC, i play the whole lot of them, not only COD, i got BF3, BF2, BFBC2 , ARMA 2, AA3 (America Army 3) , CS 1.6 , CSS, CSGO... even with games you probably never heard before.

and BTW, they don't run CS 1.5 , it is 1.6 before Valve makes the whole deal on Source my friend. , good old cs_italy i still love.

I think the problem is from the controller and the fan base as well. Because of casual players are extremely crowded in this game, the good players have the ability to just camp their ass off to get a good game. and from the fact that they are already familiar with the controller and sensitivity, others will have a hard time just to zero-in the camper and fight back. I always feel like i need a sec and a half just to identify where the campers is and then struggling to find the moment to stop moving the stick. in that 1,5 secs, you are already dead.

I feel like somehow i will still come back MW3 and play it. Like what i did with Black Ops and MW2... It really depends on the output of the game on PC. Gosh the first Black Ops on PC was horrible.

I have just recently tried out MW3 on the XBOX for the last few days before BO2 rolling out. I am originally a PC gamer but want to try something new. So i got a copy of MW3 for XBOX.

I have had over 500hrs for MW3 on Steam so i basically know "how to play" this game. I had experience with the controller before, not absolutely know how to use it totally but i am good enough to know how to aim and shoot people.

Most of the match, i play like i always do, PTFO. Domination is pretty much what i play, sometime mix up with some TDM for relaxing.

But i was plain wrong.

The whole experience of MW3 on XBOX is way worse than i expected. Now i understand why there are so many people claim this game to have so many noobs , slayers, and campers and make it such a huge deal. Because basically, all they were talking about , is people con consoles (point directly to XBOX 360 community). 9 out of 10 games that i play, the other team will camp in a corner or somewhere in the map that they can "boxed in",when my team will just do nothing and "re-camp" somewhere else. I used to defend this game infront of hates and such thing, because non of those were even exist on the PC or such not a big deal at all, but now i understand why some CoD veteran has to say the samething just because of this poor community, mostly consoles players.

Then i figure it out, dealing with camper in this game and on these consoles with the controller is a different story than on the PC. Why? Because with the controller, you will not be able to get the extreme accuracy from the mouse.NEVER. Dealing with campers never be a huge deal on PC because most of a good PC gamers can zero-in the target after ADS less than a second and ready to fire back. With the controller, unless you are extremely familar with the stick and the sesitivity , you will lose the camper in a gunfight just because they have advantage over you on the position and most of the time, they have already been ADS.

Then i figure it out, there are only about 40% of gamers on this XBOX Live Community are willing to play the objective or actually good at the game. I was surprised , how i have to save the team asses from being kicked as a PC gamer using a controller , something i don't have much experience with. It just make me want to rage quit the game so many time just because my team doesn't do sh!t and the others just plain camping.

So i want to ask, why guys? people on consoles helps me fill in the blank here, why ? Why make this game become the worst game in the gamers' eye? Now i want to defend the game i like but i can't anymore because of the surprising truth on the consoles world.

They are struggling with the F-22 and F-35 JSF project, The White House will not pass much money to develop new weapons like a robot to help the soldier in the next 13 years. Maintaining all the battleships, airplanes, aircraft carriers are more than enough.

Treyard had gone... too far... I feel ike a Halo in COD style. lol.

Everyone hates last stand right? because it piss you off everytime when you knock a guy down and still have to finish him again. He was excited because it is what the community desired , he has been always fought for us. Just a damn few people know about that

First, he has always fought for the gamer rights, But Activision and their desire are too big so they decide to shut his mouth and limit the thing the team can do. All kind of money **** with microsoft has ruined this game, he doesn't like that, i could tell. He fought hard for the PC community, but the money that Activision makes from Consoles markets pushed that away

I really feel hopeless from this moment for PC gamers like me and other Call of Duty lovers as well. If anyone want to talk **** about him, you just don;t know and understand him. I am on his side, no matter what you say.,

Jackass BeachHead Studio. I would say that they are just a bad addon to the Call of Duty Series in PC Gamers' eyes. They even create more confusion and hate to IW who has nothing to do with Elite and IW has to take all the blame for this.

Tweeted the Beachhead Studio , even mailed the Activision Help Center and i have the same answer which is a quote that they made last year: "We are dedicated to PC... blah blah blah" They don't give a crap about us.
