Glitches, aim bots, wall hacks, and other game enhancing "features"

A friend of mine who shall remain nameless for the time been has numerous "features" on his PS3 like -999 prestige tokens, everything unlocked and aim bot, I've told him on occasions to remove them and play the game as its supposed to be playied with the " fun" aspect and stop the cheating!! But he says it's more fun to play the way he plays???? So my question to CALL OF DUTY programmers etc is: Will the latest mw3 update as of the "6th feb 2012 for me" stop these from happening or are we just stuck with the lowest form of scum and still get frustrated by their "cheating" even tho PSN or now SEN just say they will get "banned" for 5000 days or will it really happen? Why can't we get a system like "Steam" on the PC and ban them completely forever?. If it carrys on there wil be a very large amount of people who will leave the Call of Duty franchise altogether......

Thanks.
