Do We Have A Response Yet?!

Hey guys.

First of all, let me say I really really really want to be able to play this game. I really do. The graphics are still not impressive, but still an improvement, I dislike the headglitching bonanza that has been created with these maps, but I can stand that, and the guns seem to be well balanced, for the most part, which is is great to me.

I would go on and on about how my connection is bad, the things I am experiencing, etc. but I know everyone here has heard it time and time again. I would like to think with the massive amounts of YT videos out there showcasing what so many of us are dealing with that there are no more naysayers. I have a couple I've posted myself showing some of my most memorable rage quits, haha.

But all this aside, has there been an official response to the connection issue? I have not seen anything personally, but have looked. The only thing that I have found is the Reddit AMA where Vonderhaar mentioned something about them not tweaking any connection settings, which greatly dissappoints me.

Now, before I get the random ignorant fool in here that screams "Its COD, get used to it, connection issues are part of the deal" or "you just suck at the game" blah blah, let me go ahead and respond to you guys.

1) I will not "get used to" a glaring issue with the connection in this game. Instead, I will just stop playing it all together. I do not WANT to do this, as I enjoy playing Call of Duty for the most part. So hopefully you can see why I am expressing my concerns rather than trading the game in abruptly. I am hoping for at least an acknowledgement that things are being looked into.

2) No, in fact I do not suck at this game. I am not the best I know, but I hover around a 2.00 kdr and over a 500 spm. Obviously this fluctuates with how the connection is on any given day. But if you were to look over my shoulder as I played when the connection was bad, you would think I was the worst .02 kdr 60 spm player in the world. Watching killcams I apparently run head on at enemies who are shooting at me, or I am shooting wide left or right, or just plain can't aim. But in reality the player I am running at isn't even shown on my screen, the only indication I get is 1 bullet then a killcam, and my aim is on point, I am just not getting any of my bullets registered.

It would be very very easy for me to write this post in a scathing way, cussing at it and whatnot, but I really want to play this game, and connection issues aside, I think it is a great game overall. My problem comes in with the actual connection crap I am experiencing, which make this game literally unenjoyable for me to play. I have never, on day 3, or even a month, into a new COD been more than content with playing a single game, or just 3 or 4 games a day. With this one, I seem to be able to play 1-4 games, and not care if I just turn off my XBox, again, all because of the connection.

Anyway, back on topic: has there been ANYTHING at all from Treyarch about looking into this issue?

If you are rushing, flanking, etc. then an SMG or shotgun will suit your playstyle. AR's have never been rusher friendly, well except in BO1 where the Famas was the best SMG in the game.

But continue on. When you are put into a corner and cannot defend your argument you hurl insults. Very fitting for a rated M game that seems to attract more kids than adults. I'm currious to see what you come up with next.

Ouch someone sounded hurt for some reason. I thought the whole point was the ARs are better at range. If you aren't all up in the enemies' spawn then you are sitting back my friend.

Maybe I just know map positioning too well and run SMG / shotguns all the time and forget that other players may not be as good at controlling their engagements. I'm sure if I sat back with an AR as my primary way of playing I could keep people at range. Just isn't fun to me.

Where exactly in this game can you keep the enemy at range? Haha. Almost every map is 100% perfect for shotguns, let alone SMGs.

Yeah but why can I pop in MW2 and still get awesome connections, even when I am 2-3 barring I still feel like all the gun fights are fair. BO1 was smooth for me (I didn't get it until a month or so after launch due to a deployment) and MW3 wasn't anywhere near as bad as what I am experiencing in this game.

I have only played a handful of games where I felt the gunfights were all fair. And this goes both ways. I have a couple really good gameplays I refuse to put on Youtube because I am obviously on the good side of the lag comp because people are shooting at me in directions nearly opposite from where I am.

One thing I have NEVER understood with COD is that is seems like the devs do not truly understand the power of a UAV. It's the single-most effective killstreak in any COD being ~3 kills in all of them (I think?) and allowing you to see where all the enemies are.

What did BO2 get wrong? NO counters to the UAV spam until level 33.

But you can shoot down UAVs!

^Yes, you can. But if you did that, that is ALL you would be doing all game.

If the UAV is going to be so easy to get, then make it a level 53 unlock or something higher than starting with it. Otherwise, UAV should = Orbital vsat and no UAV should be in the game.

We have gotten gold in all clan operations thus far, and we have no reason to believe we will end that trend any time soon.

Our clan's kdr is currently 1.53. Don't let the low kdr fool you. We have plenty of slayers in the clan, and we balance our slayers with people who rush the objective more fiercly to allow the killers to get their MOABs. We have a intra-clan "challenge" just for fun to see how many MOABs we get as a clan each week.

We also are currently running a clan contest giving away a Roxio Game Capture. We will also be giving away an AverMedia C281 and another Roxio Game Capture in the not-too-distant future!

Just fill out an application. Make sure to take it at least slightly seriously. If we get an application we know was thrown together we won't even bother looking at it. We want people who want to be in a clan.

I am always able to get a party of 6 at night. We normally end up having to run ground war or split into two groups. During the day it varies. Usually I end up with about 4 people in a party, other times I can get 6. Just depends on people's schedules.

No problem on the KD. There is no definite minimum, just a suggested one. As long as you can play as a team and communicate, that's what we are really looking for. We know some people absolutely destroy in modes like TDM where you go for kills, and we know that some people aren't as on point with killing, but that they are extremely helpful in Dom, Demo, KC, etc.

The clan tag right now is RR|G, but we are always open to changing it with a vote from the members of the clan. We are actually starting to discuss using something else.

Like coco said, we are not a childish clan, look at the length of the recruitment post. We are looking for quality over quantity. We could easily have hit 100 by now, but so many people who want to join are just really immature and not a good fit with us. We are looking for players who are mature and want to actively play with other members of the clan.
