Its all about game mode... I play TDM most of the time my overall KDR is 1.10 In BLOPS2

In MW3 which was my first online FPS my KDR was 0.62 but then i played objective based games. i used to run around a lot and repeatedly throw myself on dom flags and on bombs to either set or defuse in demolition.

I am a better player than i was a year ago when i started playing FPS. I think a lot more about what other players will do. for instance if i have killed someone i will expect them to come back for revenge and i will move and be ready for them. on the flip side of that if someone kills me i won't go hunting them especially if they have a good position. you either end up getting killed running back to where they are or they kill you again because they are expecting you to come back.

the only other advice i have is keep your gun up when going round corners. I'm not 19 so i need the advantage of being ADS to beat the relexes of the younger players. and be aware of where your team is... its just as important to know where they are as it is to know where the enemy are. for example if you know you have your team behind you there is little chance the enemy will come from that direction, that leads on to don't get isolated you can't be watching in every direction. being isolated inevitably results in being shot in the back.

US players continue to enjoy having their servers at DEFCON 5 whilst UK players have to endure having their servers at DEFCON 3. when will Activision sort out the European servers?????????????????????????????????

Disable UPnP... it helped me. still can't play are part of a group though and still get a bad game every now and then, usually when i have stayed in the same lobby too long. its much better with UPnP turned off though. Try it and see how you get on.

UK servers Defcon 3

Why are the UK servers at Defcon 3 and offering limited services whilst the US servers are at Defcon 5 and offering full service... Another example of players in the UK getting a second rate service compared to those in the US...

its cheating... cheating is wrong.

if you left your PS3 in the car and someone stole it would it be your fault for leaving it in the car or would it be the person who stole it fault.

doing something wrong when you know it is wrong just because there was a little crack left in the game is no reason not to be to suffer the consequences for it.

its a life lesson the sooner people learn to face the consequences of their actions the better

Theater and elite not recording games

I had a really good evening playing the TDM Clan Challenge last night KD1.67 at the end of it i wanted to go back and look at my recent games in elite and save a couple of the best in my theater... but to my disappointment only the first 3 or 4 were saved in elite and theater and these didn't include any of my best games... this is becoming really annoying. please Treyarch and Activision fix these issues

The game is great... the maps are great... except Express and Raid. The lag is terrible though... I have a really good fibre optic broadband and get lag I have friends with really bad connections and they get lag too. mostlywhen in a party it has to be said. it has to be down to matchmaking and lag compensation in most cases. if this was sorted it would be the best COD so far

I have a feeling it will stay where it is for a while in the bonus section. it maybe that Treyarch add a DLC section to the Bonus menu with Nuketown joining those in regular playlists as well as being in the moshpit... maybe...

I have had the same problem over the weekend i wanted to review a game where i went 20 and 8 but was it in my recent games... no. if fact no games were in there from thursday to sunday evening

I'm not as good as yo... playing on my own KD is 1.20 ish and in a party is about 0.50. its crazy. in one game i was shooting a guy in the back with a rapid fire LMG and he turns round and drops me with one bust from the BR32 (the three shot pistol)

I played solo for most of the clanchallenges last week and in most games I didn't have any really bad problems with lag/lag compensation. But when in a party sunday night i could only play 5 games before i pulled the plug.

It's really disappointing as BO2 is really good when it plays well. It would be great if I could be in the same party as my mates...

any one else found the game lag issues are much worse when in a party? we palyed MW3 as a group for about 8 months before drifting away with BO2 it was about a week...

I lost a few levels after playing a local game. level 44 to 41 I never got them back... 3 levels is not a big issue. would not have been happy to have lost all my levels tho...

I lost a few levels after playing a local game. it was only about 3 or 4 levels so it didn't make that much difference. I had a message come up saying my profile had been lost and my previous saved profile was being recovered.

no games being recorded on elite

my clan leaderboard not working

a lot of new clan challenges have been posted going right up to the end of the month what would be really helpful with this would be for the my clan leaderboard to be working during the challenge.They have't been working during this weeks challenges. during wednesday nights domination challenge I finished playing at 11pm uk time with Elite saying i had got 38 captures but when the end of the challenge came round it turned out I had 51... its important to know where the clan stands during the challenge. I don't want to have to play one game mode for one whole night.

Please activisionfix elite so that the in game leaderboards are available and keep up to date...

Its not Treyarch's fault people cheat... If it was a problem that during the normal course of playing Black Ops 2 that some peoples prestige level went up to a level beyond where they should be then you could blame Treyarch. these people have gone out of there way to cheat. if you want to use the exam analogy then if the answers are printed in the exam paper then there is nothing the person can do, but if the person has to break into a locked cupboard to get them then its wrong. If people do something wrong they should feel the consequences

I get 50 50 good games to bad games due to lag/lag compensation when playing on my own that goes to 25 75 good games to bad games when playing in a group.

In MW3 i would join up with my clan mates most nights to play together on Blops 2 we very rarely play together because every game one or more of has an issue. we are just hoping Treyarch will improve thing with the next patch... not holding my breath though

You answered your own question, its down to the pick 10 system. People are not forced to take a secondary weapon so they don't. most people are looking out for themselves taking a third attachment on their primary weapon or an extra perk they have no space left for a launcher. they are hoping one or two of their team mates will be packing a launcher. other than that its not always possible to stand there looking at the sky it results in you ending up dead...

problems with elite not storing recent games

I think I sad most of it in the title... I am completing Black ops 2 games and the games are not then appearing in elite... I played about 5 or 6 games last night all from the mosh pit menu all except the last one appear in my recent games and thats most disappointing as in that game I went 52 and 27... I am fairly sure the kills and deaths have been included in my kdr, I had 4046 kills before playing last light and now have 4169 and if i add my kills up for the night I get to the right number, but I would still like to be able to go back and look at the game details... there were no host migrations or anyother issues during the game and I was in it from start to finish, so whats going on with elite?
