Good learning curve - don't listen to the community and play it your way.

Still disagree that you can't play it the way you want always, I love to run and gun but sometimes you just can't and have to dig in because of hit detection or desync, even if you're doing well you can't rush around spawn because they spawn behind you, so whichever way you play, you still end up camping, either at their spawn or your's with exception on a few game modes.

He does have a point, some people suffer worse than others while trying to have fun running, me included, nothing to do with skill when you're constantly desynced.

You do far better camping if you have to empty a clip into someone as it gives you the chance for the bullets to register rather than being dropped in what seems like one bullet.

This is why you get constant camping threads and this is why people get bored or frustrated with the game because they really don't want to stand in a corner using lame tactics but don't stand a hope in hell up close and personal.

Granted, crying about it doesn't do anything and from someones point of view who doesn't suffer too much, it might seem like an over reaction, I'd love a few of the great players to come sit in my front room, they'd soon take a reality check and realise the games a connection based nightmare rather than how fast your trigger finger is !!!

You are right the though, the simple answer is don't play !!!

Well done, I really mean it, everything that actually works which isn't a lot in MW3 then give it a nerf, it's the only logical step, I mean forget the fact that every new edition to the game is faulty so lets strip it all back and what are we left with, hey presto........

Loving it, while you're at it can you nerf that stupid foriegn idiot Makarov or whatever who speaks everytime I boot up the game, not only does he sound like Donald duck on helium, he really talks a load of sh1t, so if I'm getting a drink or talking to the gf on the phone I'm being sent mentally retarded by it, so nerf it before I smash the TV and file a compo claim !!!!

Yes and no,

Yes you're a camper if you do well even though you're using the correct playstyle for the weapon.

No you're not if you fail and go 3/18, no one cares and you're not a camper even though you stayed in one spot for more than 5 seconds using the correct playstyle for the weapon.

I'm not disagreeing with anyone who says it's controller as it happens to me but it's random and not all the time but some games it auto switches to my secondary at the start of each game and then if I cap a flag etc.

I've got x2 xontrollers and it does it on both, I also get where the gun drops from aim and hip fires while targeting an enemy, I've put it down to lag and am keeping my options open on the controller issue !!!

You really show your ignorance when you post something without doing any research, that's probably why someone like Fox gets a post about him and you sit there whining like a puppy not getting a stroke.

Fox doesn't get paid, it's voluntary, he's looked after IW forums for a few years and has never acted like some of the early mods as an egotistical bully throwing weight around and slapping the ban hammer on anything that he doesn't like.

This isn't off topic as it's relevant to the PS3 subforum and might act as a deterant for all the " I've been banned threads " that will probably show up in the coming weeks, so rather than cast your shadow of negativity on what isn't a brown nose subject but a little thank you post, go run off with your tail between your legs and chew on something else !!!

I'm glad you posted this, I just got off reading a post he'd locked up, with absolutely no ass kissing Fox is a number 1 Mod,.

He's calm, to the point, sticks to the rules with a clear, consice and uncondecending manner.

I'd go as far to say that Activision should consider a contract of employment because you'd certainly fair well with an inteligent employee like this on your books.

Don't let this one slip away guys, he's been looking after you for a few years now and hasn't ever let those clucking chickens get the better of him, fox by name, fox by nature !!!

Well to answer you all in one then having been a bit of a vet with the cod series and having been on the IW forums from almost day 1, you could say I've seen quite a lot, waded through countless rants, glitches, hacks, threads about BS etc for the last few years.

I'm not talking about glitching when I say bad physics, there's a lot of spots where one player can stand behind an object and shoot you and you can't even put a hit marker on them.

This isn't new, it happened in most of the COD games but it was limited to a couple of spots in one or two maps. In MW3 there are countless spots that allow for exploitation and get hugged by campers, like I said if you could get revenge or still use that route using stealth and tactics then it wouldn't be so bad but you can't, you can only hope that one of the bad respawns puts you behind them and you can knife them in the back.

As for stopping playing, I've stopped in the hope they sort their issues out and I can play again not permantly quit and there are issues, they are working on them at the moment because they are playing with lag comp my game has gone from fair to worse, so it's put to one side until they decide which way they are going with it and if it works for me I'll play, if not it goes on the shelf.

I don't need the money and don't trade games, I'm not some puppy finding my feet in the world and need to bus into town to get £20 quid to buy another game, I like MW3 it's a good fun game but the playability issues are stopping it being fun and being able to play the way you want because it doesn't work the way it should.

That's the reason I still come on a forum to see if things are any better and to resure mysefl that a lot of people actually believe their opinion is of any worth and post with that belief firmly implated in their tiny bubble

Fair post but in a way you're ranting about people ranting so it's just another rant.

I agree about the play it your way and play it for fun arguments but that's fine if the game is working as it should, you said yourself you have fair net and the game seems to function ok for yourself so yeah go have fun, that's the idea.

Now lets look at those who also have fair internet but for some reason the game doesn't function as it should, now take it from me it isn't fun, it's no fun in any shape or form when bullets don't register, people teleport and stab you from 30 feet or you drop by what appears a single bullet after emptying a clip into someone.

Then take the camping, yeah we all get annoyed about a blatant camper and go back for revenge but if because of bad game mechanics that player is exploiting an area where you can't get revenge or you have to bypass an entire area of the map then it isn't fun, it isn't fun in any shape or form and you can't play it the way you want to because you have to avoid 1/3 of a map, trust me there are serious areas on these maps that have seriously bad physics issues.

Before you come back at me to defend your post then ask yourself why there is a million posts a day about issues rather than a million saying they had so much fun and I agree with you 100%, I love playing, don't care about dying, complete objectives, play around with classes and love having fun and playing whichever way I want but I can't in MW3 and as your title states " stop playing "... I did just after Xmas when my bullets stop registering and I stopped having fun !!!
