Wrong forum mate. This sub is for MW3 xbox 360 discussion I'm afraid. I'm not hopeful of a MW2 patch, however. Your best bet is to just keep filing complaints against hackers.

In my opinion stay away from the shotguns and the SMGs mate - you don't want to be in CQB if your ping isn't great. Also stay away from the LMGs because they slow you down too much and stay away from the snipers because they require precision. I'd go with something medium ranged that isn't too dependent on being precise (in your words 'noob friendly')

Try:

* G36 or ACR with red dot sight (accurate, full auto, low recoil guns)

* MP9 either naked or with extended mags if you have them

* Frag

* Stuns (useful for tossing out if you're getting closed on or suspect someone is near)

* Perk 1: Sleight of Hand

* Perk 2: Quickdraw or Hardline (I prefer Hardline but it depends on your point streaks)

* Perk 3: Stalker (best perk in the game imo)

Killstreaks keep 3-4-5 until you get better/more comfortable with the setup - you'll play better and have more fun if you're not worrying about streaks. Don't run into CQB situations if you can help it - just pick your routes through the map so that you've always got a medium sight range (but stay away from the long sight ranges if you suspect the enemy team has a sniper).

Above all, the main thing I'd recommend is learning map awareness, which is two fold: where do you think the enemy are? And where do you think the enemy is going to be spawning from. If you can get good at this (and sometimes it's very team dependent) then you always know where to point your gun (which is half the battle).
