I made a comment about the new upcoming CoD so the moderator tried to screw me by moving the thread to "off topic."&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Since I can't do anything about it, I've just changed the name of the thread and will have to make it known that I am now talking about the future possible mechanics of the Ghost Perk in the new game.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Tired of reading opinions on the "great" change to Ghost, written by people that don't even use the perk. These people have no valid opinion. They're just happy that people can't stay invisible while camping and they don't care how overdone the nerf on the perk actually is.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In previous CoDs, people using ghost, while crouching in the corner of a room was a serious annoyance, but they have effectively made the perk useless.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I myself agree that Ghost should force you to have to be more of a run and gun type of player, but the 1-2 second buffer that it gives you to continue moving after stopping is just not enough time.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;As it stands right now, Ghost will stop working in less time than it takes to stop moving and reload a weapon. Ghost will also stop working in less time than it takes to climb a ladder. Moving while aiming down the sights also causes you to move slow enough that Ghost will stop working. This means that you can only aim down your sights for 1 (literally 1) second before you become visable on radar.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Once you stop moving, the perk will not recognize that you have started moving again until you've already covered the distance of about 10 feet. This means that if you stop for only one second, and then move again, Ghost will have stopped working for a split second before it realized that you started moving again.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Not only does Ghost force you to be a run and gun player, but it forces you to be down right reckless. You can't take your time making sure the coast is clear before turnning a corner because the perk will stop working in 1-2 seconds.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I can not emphasize enough to the people that don't use this perk, it doesn't just stop working if you stand still, it stops working if you aren't moving fast enough. The word "Caution" can not exist in your mind if you want this perk to work.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Read my above points and try to make a rational defense of the way Ghost works now....You can't.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:1788ea81-abc9-4b03-b64c-8f119fece1fd] --&gt;</description>

All perks are designed to let you not worry about one or more elements of the game.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; Shooting down a UAV will still put you in danger of getting killed since you are standing there aiming at the sky for 3 or more seconds while you are visable on the enemy radar.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Even if someone wanted to use Ghost JUST to be safe while shooting down a UAV, Ghost will stop working before you would have time to shoot it down. You can't be properly protecting the flag if you're vulnrable to things like killer drones or helecopters. People generally throw their grenades on the flag point to get rid of any claymores or C4, so unless you're camped ON the flag like an idiot, you shouldn't have to worry about needing Flack Jacket.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Assualt Shield is worthless in Flag Defending. You should be trying to get the drop on enemy players who are focused on running to grab the flag, the Shield doesn't help you get the drop on anyone. A better choice would be to use a rocket launcher. Since camping the flag can get uneventful at times, you can still help your team by being quick to take out ALL enemy airborn scorestreaks.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;I would suggest using the Danger Close Wildcard to get an extra Claymore.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;For Flag Carriers&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;FHJ should never be used while carrying a flag...If you have the flag and are looking at the sky, you're wrong.&lt;span style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;I would suggest the MMS attachment so that you can scan the flag area for campers before running in to grab it.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Tactical Insertion is useful, but if you're going to use it, then you need to use the Wildcard for more secandary equipment so that you can also use Shock Charges...When carrying the flag, it's safe to assume people are chasing you, so throw Shock Charges on the ground to slow down your persuers.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Toughness is an all around usless perk. People die in this game in 0.00 to 0.5 seconds so flinching when getting shot isn't really anything to worry about. I would suggest using Fast Hands instead so that your gun has as little down time as possible when throwing your shock charges.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;It makes sense that you would want to use Extreme Conditioning (for obvious reasons), but the extended run distance in this game is SO minescule that I think it is more beneficial to use Engineer just to prevent yourself from tripping over shock charges ect.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;One last tip that I didn't see mentioned would be to keep in mind that when you have the flag, everyone on the enemy team can see your position delayed by ~2 seconds. Since everyone will be looking at the map and trying to predict the route you are taking, try to be "random" in the path you choose. Even if it's not the quickest route, taking a turn people don't expect you to take can save your life.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:644faaee-bc23-46df-99d1-75855327d949] --&gt;</description>
