Your comments about the gameservers being a huge problem is valid but it doesn't explain why the people didn't come back from MW2 after it was fixed. Obviously that wasn't the main reason why they left and never came back.

On the occasion where I do encounter lag in BO2, the only time I see it is during peak hours for my location. Like last night I was in a server with everybody having 4 bars but the gameplay was not as smooth. Everybody was experiencing it but it was still playable. Treyarch believes, (and I tend to agree) that the problem seems to be coming from the servers being overloaded at peak times. Any time I've seen lag its been between the hours 8-10pm. This problem seems to be very similar to gameservers problems just on a lesser scale.

That was predictable, If I asked all the people that like BO1, I'm sure most of them would say BO2 sucks. Those that liked BO1 (like wierd world's clan) would certainly not like BO2 but most MW2 and MW3 users all flocked to BO2 love it because dedicated servers greatly improved the matchmaking experience. All of my clan was the opposite and bought BO1 and by this time of the year they would have all flocked back to MW2 because it sucked for us for multiple reasons, the main one being lack of proper teamplay and lack of HC servers especially after the multiple map packs. IF you look at the trend, and certainly Treyarch did study this, you'll see that BO1 failed because MW2 had more players playing it than BO1 only after 3 months of the release. You can draw your biased conclusions as you want. A lot of people will say well BO1 was terribly optimized but what stopped the people from returning to BO1 from MW2 once they fixed it? I've never had problems playing BO1, its the game that turned me off.

Talking about pathetic people, a guy that says he hates the game so much but yet plays it and posts hate here every day. Must not be that bad of a game for you to keep on coming back for more eh?

I see you can't stand to hear the truth that most people really enjoy the game. Sure like every game it has some issues but over all its a really good game. You childishly input your own thoughts into my post as though your an autority which in reality your nothing but a spoiled brat thats probably used to always getting his way(that's why this kid wants to admin or lord over people so bad). Classic example of a child tantruming when he doesn't get what he wants. I enjoy the game and come here to discuss with other like minded people but I take great offence when a kid comes in here whining and whining AND whining about the game so much that someone has to opose such idioticy.

Your crazy to think you'd have 3x the players if it had BO1 style servers. Just look at BO1's failure.

@crazy Funny I knew prior to release that the game had matchmaking and dedicated servers hosted be Treyarch. I was not even going to buy BO2 but pre-ordered it as soon as I learnt that Treyarch would be hosting all the servers and use matchmaking like in MW3. Your so full of lies but continue on your trolling quest. The guy secretly loves the game so much that he plays all the time. I hated BO1 and after a month uninstalled the game and never bothered that community again. Maybe you should follow that advise because no amount of complaining like you do will bring your beloved servers. The game is a really good game and I hope MW4(?) will see BO2 style dedicated servers.

Back from vacation and mo-fo is still spreading lies. Treyarch did not blantantly lie, stop spreading BS. You , and everyone else knew well ahead of the release what they intended by full "dedicated servers". Don't continue to cry now because your getting no sympathy. Just stop playing if you don't like the game but TBH I'm sure you paid for and are playing countless hours because you secretly love it. I dare you to delete the game, bet you can't.

Sorry to the guy who lives in IRAN for multiple reasons but I guess Treyarch did not want to host servers in a country where it could be physically bombed.

I agree the sound in this game is very bad to say the least. There are absolutely no queues for footsteps until they are right upon you and only if they run up to you. You can't hear anyone walking or crouching (understandably couching shouldn't be heard no matter what but walking or running should be made more audible). Also your teammates footsteps are so friggin loud as compared to the enemie's footsteps that is makes no sense. At least make them the same which would make more sense.

Gun shots seem to have directional queues(or more like echo) but nothing like MW2 & MW3. The silence and awareness perks are useless placeholders. They really need to fix it so that those perks are a viable alternative.

Your so full of BS when you make these claims that your in a lobby full of Germans and you all have 4 bars. Your an idiot. Its no wonder Treyarch removed server control away from the likes of you and for that I applaud them but unfortunately the good people like Black_Jack has to suffer too.

Black_Jack setting your search parameter to "BEST" will help you get connected to a closer server but unfortunately it will not prevent others further away from joining the server. Treyarch should force an update to have this put on BEST as the default.

It is 100% impossible for a german player to be connected to a west coast US player with both having less than 100 ping, yet it has happened to me several times already and EVERYONE in the game had 4 bars.

The onus is on you to prove your statements that the supposed "germans" you were ingame with all had 4 bars. SHOW ME THAT PROOF OR ANY PROOF, its not that hard but of course that will not happen because your spewing off BS. First of all how did you know these people were located in germany? How do you not know that these so called Germans weren't German/Amercians? Any germans I have been with either had 4 bars and I had 3 bars when I'm the one connceting to a european server or the opposite when they get connected to a North American server. For someone who hates the game so much your sure do spend a lot of time commenting on it and even playing the game. I hated BO1 and I played maybe 15 hours on it till I moved on or moved back to MW2. You such a troll its almost hilarious.

I gave you some examples of proof to backup your claims that the "Germans" you connected to had 4 bars and over 200ms of ping. If you cannot find any proof then stop spreading lies as facts. How many accounts will you get banned here on until you realise your crap will not be tolerated?

Your the one spewing crap about being connected to Germans with 4 bars. If you can't provide any proof to back your claims then that's all it is "lies". Anytime I have been connected with european players me or them, depending on the server location, has had less than 4 bars. I doubt you'll be able to provide any proof.

Show me the proof of this in form of a screen shot ,also include IP of the dedicated server in BO2 otherwise you have nothing of substance. When I got connected to a europe server in france I had 3 bars which is about what I would expect. Keep trolling Mo-Fo till they ban you again.

Trayarch has dedicated servers and the ping bars represent the following,

4 bars= <100ms

3bars= 100-200ms

2bars= 200-300ms

1bar= >300ms

That's what the bars mean. The bars are totally useless everyone will agree but let's try to stick to the facts.

Are they any mods in the forum?

Maxxgold I'm done feeding him but every once in awhile I feel the need post because for the average gamer coming here looking for info, if all they see is his crap posts here then they might make an illformed decision. He made a post yesterday saying its because the lack of server browsers was the reason why so many people rage quit. LOL what ludacracy. Why does Activision tolerate such trolls on their forums.

Your the exact reason why Treyarch decided to go the route they are going because they are smart enough to see people like yourself lording over people is bad for gamers.
