I don't have a problem with the accents either...what really gets me going is when the French people come on...

I am glad I am not the only one. I have been in very few rooms with people who "know" what to do. Most of the time I get in a room with people that have absolutely no clue!!

Also, read the following sticky post: "newbies guide" [code:2qltvfir]http://www.callofduty.com/board/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=79931

to see the points (section 8) required to get each rank along with the rank required to unlock the higher avatar sets (section 15).

Completing some missions get you additional points as well. Some of the missions are quite lucrative in that they give you greater than 100 points upon completion.

The short answer to your question is you need 3000 points to unlock Sergeant which unlocks the next level of sets.

You are psyched to play zombies, you get in a room and:
- Noone has a microphone. How do you play this game without a microphone?? Communication is critical!!
- Other player(s) run from window to window trying to steal other people's kills! Just wait a couple rounds...plenty of zombies for all to share!!
- Other player(s) don't understand how to operate as a team. You turn around and you are surrounded by zombies but you notice that several of the gates are unlocked and you team is spread out over the whole map!
- The dogs come and....noone sticks together! Everyone freelances and gets picked off one at a time. Fastest way to lose the game...!

OK, rant over. I feel better now!

Anyone else agree? What pisses you off when you play zombies?

if it was a public game and you got kicked out, that is the only way that I know of to get kicked out. At the bottom of the screen (i think?) it will tell you that you got kicked from the game...what it does not tell you is that you killed a team member. In hard core it is very easy to accidentally team kill, it happens to everyone.

You didn't get kicked out by a person, you got automatically kicked out because you killed too many team members! After three or four team kills, you are automatically kicked.

Just give it a little time so the servers can sync up. Same thing happened to me. The mission showed up in the active list a few hours later. In the mean time why don't you try working on getting your 150 kills?? It looks like you need to get the 150 AFTER accepting the mission!.

You are completely out of luck. The satellites you are using sit in geosynchronous orbit. These orbits are around 11,000 miles . Add up the amount of time it takes to get there (~50ms), get back, switch into the greater network and then get to the other player...multiply x2 (response back!) and you have your latency. Bottom line is satellites are absolutely no good for internet play. Sorry.
