The moderator's of this forum don't look at cheat reports so you're wasting your time sending them there.

The game's AC team does, and that's where the in-game cheat reports go.

Yes in-game reporting does plenty.

Those reports go directly to the game's AC team, not Valve.

There's much more going on than just VAC scanning the game's code for modifications, and what's running on your machine.

Where did you hear that? Consider the source first...

There's no way you should be banned for TS overlay, and if you are it's a mistake. The difficulty would be getting them to respond in any shape or form about a ban. They usually won't respond or discuss the merits of any ban publically. Privately, I'm not sure about.

The question I would have for you would by why would you want that overlay? I remember trying it for 4 minutes with Black Ops, and quickly removed it. It's intrusive and terrible.

While under the hood i'm sure it works ok, the interface alone is enough to steer well clear of it. It's terrible. If I wanted a tablet that's what I'd get, but it sure wouldn't be a MS tablet anyway so yeah they're doing it wrong. Waaaay wrong.

Sorry don't know much about win8; and will keep it that way. Not sure what they were thinking, but people don't want a tablet experience on their PC's.

Anyway, try lowering your in game graphic settings.

One of two things I think.

1) You have the exact same name as another player in your lobby

2) Treyarch is not allowing the name you chose for whatever reason.

Ever played the original UT, Quake, Half Life? i.e. the very original new era FPS's. I'd guess not.

Only thing you can try is tweeting @pcdev or @pcdev_assist. If they can't change/fix it for you, no one can. It's either that or start over like the dude laughing his ass off suggests.
