the reason you dont get it..is obviously you cant accept hq and ctf were the least two played game types, if you read the long discussion that vahn had with the community you would see the reasoning as its clearly written

Allright, I guess you guys have done the research before this.. But you obviusly did not care about the people who wanted this game mode. My personal reason for not liking the other game modes, is that the spawn areas are horrible inn them, the only mode with some structure is CTF and I dont like running and using one mag for each kill on the core modes.

And to the ones saying that we should have picked something up in chat etc, you have not thought about the fact that most of us inn HC CTF play with team mates and thereby use party-chat and rarely game-chat..

There is no more point inn playing this game for me atleast, so I am waiting eagerly for MW3 or untill some of my team mates call me and say we got HC CTF back.

I will be looking at the forums for some answers, but there is no way for us "noobs" to become as eager as thoose who shut the modes down, becouse they sitt here more than they sitt and play the actuall game.

And yes, this is a little to much drama but here we go: I have lost alot of (x box) friends becouse everyone on my friendslist where HC CTF players, and now they will scatter around, just hope that they will play the same when MW3 comes out^^

I wouldn't mind the update as much if they didnt take away 5 minutes from capture the flag. sure it sucks backing out of lobbies until i find a voting option from capture the flag, but it's 5 minutes long now, which is terrible

I know how you feel.. I miss the old capture the flag.. the 10 minute long one. You know I wouldn't be so upset by this if they didn't cut the time in half but since they did I can't even play it anymore. Stuck playing search and destroy

Even if a few thousand, or hundred don't buy the map, it's still money they SHOULD'VE had but they lost, and a big greedy company will notice every penny lost

I made this forum topic. Not because I wanted attention, but because I was upset by the new update. I'm a regular hardcore capture the flag player and the new "flags" playlist kind of ruined the game for me. They took away hardcore capture the flag and then ripped it apart into little pieces. No longer is it about team strategy and planning a way to get the flag back to our own base, it is now either team death match for some, and desperately running to get the flag for others. They cut the time in half which was the worse decision they could have made and the game mode is literally **** now. I don't have any fun playing it anymore and I'm forced away from the game altogether now since that was the one part of the game that I could play for hours. I know other capture the flag players who also have this problem. I even tried playing CORE capture the flag. Which was awful by the way. So no I didn't want responses, or attention, or any sort of thing, I just wanted the creators of black ops to know that they had just lost one happy customer and I wont be buying the new maps because of it.

i love flack jacket for search and destroy that way i can use ninja which they just fixed. only good thing about the update.. its not an annoying perk like second chance. thats for people who cant kill you the first time, hence SECOND chance

I have to laugh when people complain about "camping." If your playing CTF and you are securing a strategic location to control a choke point, or securing a position, like the FLAG, isn't that playing strategically?? I mean it does say DEFEND over the flag right?? Funniest part is if your doing a great job, less people will show up in that path, lowering your Kills and lowering your points per minute. So if your doing a good job, your actually hurting your stats for the good of your team.

Now, take the same player and position them in a spot that has NO strategic location, or meaning to the strategy of the game. Isn't that "camping?"

One of the funniest parts of this whole thing is look at CORE. Look at all the options they have. It's getting insane. But, take a minute to look at the DEV'S videos of all the new maps coming out. THEY ARE ALL IN CORE MODE. So, the dev's can't seem to handle HC status, so they just padding the game for their own desires. Im sure I'll get flamed for that statement, but it seems to be true. Adding tons more options to CORE, and flushing HC down the toilet.

I was excited for the new maps, but I refuse to purchase one more thing from this company if the game remains in this state. I was also excited about MW3, but if it means giving money to the same company that destroyed one of my most favorite games, I refuse to feed the same beast from a different hand.

They will not listen to people who complain, maybe if enough people (in a MATURE manner) start some sort of thread to add that extra 5 minutes back who knows maybe they will.

its not just that. everyone ive played with today has expressed how upset about the moshpit. they should of taken away 1 game mode and put an objective moshpit instead. capture the flag was perfect and now its not even enjoyable

PS: CTF is soo far from being a campfest. Any good player knows the difference between camping and tactically defending your flag. If you can't see the difference, then CTF is not the game for you.

YEP it's 5 minutes long now instead of 10. totally ruined the game for me. its actually pretty annoying now :/

hate to say it... but you found the website now.. what was stopping you from finding it before? I don't play HC and I knew about this whole thing. How could you play hc and not have heard anything about them working to get more modes in HC?

i had no reason to be on here and complain because i was too busy enjoying the game but now i cannot, nor will i until they do something about this.

the fact is, no one wants a moshpit. they want to play specific game types that were ALREADY there to begin with. i dont use forums, especially because i enjoyed the game but now that they took the playlist that i have been playing for a long while away, i'm going to complain. and by the topics in this section of the forums, i can tell no one is happy about the recent update besides the ones who were on the forum to begin with

it is still difficult. you need very good strategy and if both teams are guarding the flags with their lives then there is no way to win. trust me. ive played capture the flag forever and its not always a piece of cake no matter how good your team is

NOPE what gets old is backing out of a lobby because capture the flag comes up the least out of the 3 game modes. Might as well change "flags" to "headquarters, and maybe some CTF n Dom if you're lucky" but seriously it is not awesome and i'm sad they took away my playlist and cut the time in half ;(

Alright then I can see your problem, not sure why they cut time out, and all be it but 1 playlist for 3 game modes isn't that bad, yeah its gonna be different but If you objective play 5mins shouldn't matter that much as first...

Just like changes in life, people will get over this >.> for better or worse.

WELL you obviously don't play capture the flag much. if you get a equally good team against you, the end result is always a draw. i played about 10 games this morning and 6 of them were draws. the 2 sides and over time which is 15 min altogether wasn't enough time.

I've played all game types and like capture the flag the most. Has more of a war feeling since there are sides and not just spawning all over the place like one big mess of killing people and maybe getting an objective. I'm sure you too have your favorite game types, as do I have mine. don't try to criticize the fact that i prefer one over another. there are thousands on call of duty who feel the same way i do but didnt come on this website to voice their opinion
