Almost all jungle-geared avatars in the game are carrying one, but we have no access to use the thing. I would gladly use that as a secondary weapon.

DanielWW2 wrote:

NightKeepr wrote:

Of the trailers, videos and gameplay that I've seen, I think it's going to be amazing. Given Infinity Ward's track record with MW and MW2, I'm extremely excited for MW3. I've pre-ordered it and have put all money from any game trades toward my pre-order. I'm very excited to play it.

I'm equally excited for BF3 as well. I think they're both going to be awesome.

And that is why I am done with CoD.

That's your opinion and I'm sure that it's valid in your point of view. My advice would be not to play the game. For the rest of us who appreciate the game without nitpicking every little item that we, ourselves, would never have the education, talent or skill to create, we'll enjoy the new episode thoroughly and if there are problems, we will report the issues and thank Infinity Ward when they fix them.

Black Ops has more issues than any other Call of Duty episode, but I still enjoy it and I think that I've gotten my money's worth for it. Nothing is going to be perfect and there are going to be problems with everything. If all we do is sit with our faces in a frown and are hands folded looking for anything to be displeased about, then that's all we'll get...displeasure, while everyone else is enjoying their purchase.

We have riots here, but I figured England had that sorted since they had been around longer than we have.

It's sad to see this happening in London. There are a lot of good people (my friends) who live there and I am very concerned about them. It seems that an element of stupidity and mayhem exists in all of our populations.

I hope for you all to be safe and that the riots are controlled soon. Sorry to hear about this and I hope that your beautiful architecture isn't destroyed because of it.

Does Anyone Else Buy Games for the Single Player Campaigns?

I have loved the Call of Duty/Battlefield games since each respectively came out. Before that, it was Halo, but the reason that I love them is the single-player campaigns!

I have played online ever so often, but I'm not a big fan of that. It seems more like "Everyone run out there and shoot wildly" as opposed to that actual feeling of war and tactics in the campaigns.

I have nothing against people who play the online multiplayer. I enjoy watching their YouTube videos. I just wondered does anyone else value the campaigns more than the multiplayer like I do?

And for the record, my favorite CoD campaign was World at War.

Since our lovely outage of service, we've had to switch to the Local Area games where we include enemies in order to keep playing until (if) the PSN comes back.

The second player (since the crash) cannot use killstreaks and gets reset after each match. I didn't think the network was necessary for this function, since during the holidays all of my brothers got together and we played a four player splitscreen match in this very mode and we all were able to gain killstreaks and keep our customs until we quit the game.

Is there a function that I may have clicked on accident to forbid killstreaks to the second player?

If people spent as much time trying to just enjoy the game as they do trying to label all of the noob qualities, there may be far fewer people who dislike the game.

For all of it's flaws and weaknesses, this game is a pretty damn good fps. No, it isn't BF, probably because it's CoD and it's a different franchise. If you want to play Battlefield, then go play it. No one is stopping you, but I'm guessing that it wasn't as much fun as this game and that's why you're still here.

No, the game isn't very realistic. Who freaking cares? None of these games are realistic and until you're sitting in a VR simulator, wearing fatigues and holding a replica M16, you're not going to get perfect replications of reality.

I've gotten to the point that when I hear someone say "noob" I immediately associate that person with the kid who used to throw the screaming tantrum on the playground because someone caught him in tag. Just poor sports who want to blame anything and everything else besides themselves for their lack of ability in this game.

The element of surprise has been a tried and true method for winning wars for quite some time now.

You hunker down in a position of cover and remain alert. When the enemy strolls by you, you wait for their backs to be turned and open fire.

People on fps' hate campers because they are the kryptonite to the runner gunners. Then again, everything else being thrown or shot is the kryptonite to the runner gunners also.

By popular opinion, unless you are running around in plain view like a chicken with your head cut off waiting to die from the other headless chicken dancing in this ballet of buffoonery, you're not playing correctly and you're camping.

You just camped your desk-chair to much to write this message. You need to learn how to Run and Type like a Pro. Well, guess what, one craptastic campaign mode and completely stupid multi-player (in my opinion) and I'm right back here at the CoD.

I will wait until other people have played BF3 and if they give it good reviews, I'll give it a chance...as a rental. THEN, and only then, if I like it, will I purchase it.

Right now, I've been muddling in LB2 off and on and replaying some favorite levels of Rainbow Six.

He doesn't use it for rolling, but cooks it when he's running into a large set of guys and thinks he might get owned. It works for him.

I prefer the semtex. Mostly because when I used to use the frag, it got me killed more times by throwbacks than it killed the enemy. It would be a good weapon, if they didn't get a warning message that they were on top of it. Usually by the time you get a semtex warning, it's already too late.
