This Is How To Mute People In Lobbies

I recently found this out. Ever since I got World at War, I always HATED how there was no way to mute people in the lobbies... but I actually found a way to do it, and I was surprised of how simple it was to do...

Go to "Options" -> "Game Volume" -> "VOIP Volume" and turn it all the way down. Now you won't hear anybody talking in the lobbies and the games too, so you won't have to bother muting everyone when the game starts (which is what I used to do). The only downside to this is if you're playing with a team that actually communicates with each other effectively to win the match (for example, telling your teammates where enemies are if you're playing S&D and etc.)

I play Search & Destroy the most out of every game type, and the people in those lobbies are ANNOYING than any other game type! At least to me. Thank god I found a way to mute them. Well, actually I read this:

http://spiderbiteblog.nextgentactics.com/2009/07/tip-3-modifying-sound-settings -to-your.html

This guy gives GREAT tips, read them. He also has great videos on YouTube - look him up.

Oh, and what's funny, is every time I look up how to mute people in lobbies on Google, everyone says there is no way to... they were wrong.
Re: Very New To WaW - Please Check First Match

Great start man, great start. Here's some tips:

- Keep in mind you have a pistol also, use it if your primary weapon is running low on ammo or if you don't have time to reload.
- It's a good idea to switch out your pistol for almost any weapon. An example would be since you were using an SVT, a long range weapon, pick up an SMG so you have a close range weapon also.
- Loved the part when you decided to knife everyone in that hut around the middle of the video. Knifing takes little noise to do so the enemy will not know your location. Whenever possible, resort to your knife.

Some other tips:

- Watch the radar, watch your enemy AND your teammates.
- Flanking is VERY important. Try not to rush with your team, especially when you're using a long range weapon. Go around and assault the enemy in a different direction than your teammates.
- Listen to footsteps - also very important as you can distinguish the enemy's location when the radar is not up.
- Play defensively. If you rush yourself to the other enemy, you'll most likely get killed. But if you move around, checking your surroundings, while moving about in a cautious manner, you'll achieve better scores. Team Deathmatch is not a game type where rushing is very effective, as opposed to Search and Destroy.
- If you want to level up and rank up faster, play Search and Destroy, but that game mode takes a while to master (I can help you on that if you want). Each kill is 50 XP, each assist is 25 XP, each bomb plant/defuse is 100 XP (also each Second Chance kill is 100 XP, but I hate the Second Chance perk anyway).

Add me on PSN, and I can help you out more if you want.

I also have a YouTube account, just hit 1000 subscribers, woohoo! No capture card though (yet).
But I think the M1A1 outshines all the rifles because of it's large magazine size, and you even get to equip a box magazine on it. The only flaw is it is unlocked at 65... by the time you get the box mag achievement you've probably prestiged. But if you are 10th prestige or you don't want to prestige, then you're good

The BEST Free-For-All Game of My Life!

I just played my best Free-For-All game on World at War today! I went 30-0 on Hanger!

So before this game, my best streak was 22 in Courtyard back when I was 0 prestige, and when I past 22 kills in Hanger I was nervous as hell to not die, and before you know it, I reached the score limit (150, 5 points per kill) with 30-0 and didn't even die once! xD Now I'm 6th prestige, so my best streak was 22 for a long time, and I've been meaning to beat it too, which I did in this match.

So I started off with my Thompson w/ Round Drum, Bomb Squad (if it wasn't for this I would've died), Stopping Power, and Steady Aim set up. I eventually ran out of ammo for that gun (well I had one magazine left), so I called in dogs and picked up an MP40 with Dual Magazines (of course I found this since most everyone uses it..), and then I found an STG-44 with Aperture and used that gun for the remainder of the game.

I noticed that for the entire game, I stayed in one area of the map. I didn't once go near the hanger part of the map, I stayed to the opposite side of the hanger. I think a good strategy for Free-For-All is to defend one area of the map, and not run and gun as much, which usually gets me killed. By "defend," I don't mean camping, which is totally different, I mean moving around that part of the map killing anyone who you see, yet, being cautious when moving about. That's what I did to get to 30-0. Hope that helps!

Anyway, I've done enough bragging about my totally awesome game, so what do you think? And what was your best Free-For-All game, what was the score, what guns did you use and pick up, and on what map? :P
Getting sick of people calling me a camper when...
I've seen people ACTUALLY camp in corners of maps for ENTIRE GAMES, or even do hop camping (where you camp in one place, kill someone, camp in a different location, and repeat). Seriously, I even get messages that I am "camping" when I'm slowly moving to place to place. I'm a stealthy and cautious player, so that's just what I do, and it's not camping...

I'll be honest, the ONLY instance where I somewhat "camp" is in S&D because it's definitely a game type where camping may be close to necessary, especially when it's like 4-6 against only you because your whole team died, or when you're defending the objective.

Really annoyed by this. I know I can't do anything to stop it, but I just wanted say what I think... lol

I used to love the Thompson w/ Round Drum, but I tried the Type 100 just this week after reading this post and it's pretty amazing... it's box magazine holds more ammo than the Thompson's Round Drum, the reload is faster with the box magazine than the Thompson's Round Drum, higher rate of fire and higher damage for faster kills, and bigger standard clip with 30 instead of Thompson's 20 (in case I'm using aperture or a silencer).

So the Thompson I believe has better accuracy, but if you really are a good and generally experienced player, you can control the accuracy well yourself. Also, the Thompson has better bullet penetration, but I don't find myself shooting through walls as often, so I don't mind the Type 100's weaker bullet penetration.

Overall, the Type 100 is better, at least for me.

The only difference I can find it what they look like and maybe firing sound. Has anyone else found this when comparing the two?

Not really, I think all the pistols are basically the same (exception with the .357 Magnum). I think the Tokarev has less visual recoil than the Colt, but really it shouldn't matter what non-Magnum pistol you use as they all do the same damage and have the same ammo count. It's probably up to your profile preference. I like the Colt better because I'm used to it since I play Zombies often.

During the average day, 20,000-33,000, on an average night, 10,000-20,000. At least that's what I usually see.
