I reload after every kill, even if i have 29 bullets left out of 30. Most of the time while im reloading, i get killed by some guy who finds me. Most of the time i can reload cancel and i can win the firefight, but...sometimes i just die.
2) eating while playing. Yep......
3) talking on the mic. Im too focused talking on the mic that i....loose focus on the game. I cant multitask. I cant even scratch my head while rubbing my tummy.
4)Scratching. Sometimes, my arm itches like hell and i scratch it, and boom i die.
5) Trying to be 1337. I try to do 360, switch gun, no scope wallbang across the map.

If I get killed its because of 1,2, & 4!

Hardcore doesn't keep a ammo count like the other lobbies. So you pretty much have to reload to be safe. More than one I sighted somebody and only put 1 round in them because I was out.

6) trying to shake things up. I know what works for me but sometimes I find myself going the wrong way or into a bad spot. Don't know why but just as I realize I am doing something stupid...bang I am dead!

I simply see no value in Core or Prestige. There is no skill required to play that game at all. Just grab the gun with the most ammo and let it rip.

Trolls in 3...2...1

Here is why arguing for realism is moot. unleashed dogs should kill your team as well. Copters would shoot anything that moves since there is no big difference in uniforms. And correct me if I am wrong but even now satelites would probalby not be able to tell the difference between you and the enemy.

So really all killstreak should function like Napalm, mortors and rolling thunder.

Point 1: Have you never been killed by yours or allies dogs? I have, several times. Not that I can recall. I usually follow the dogs because they lead me to the enemy
Point 2: There is a difference in uniform, plus the pilots of these copters have advanced optics and targeting systems. Specualtion but I suppose it could be true. Still you'd probably get some friendly fire. I have a green dot for my team and I still wind up shooting them from time to time.
Point 3: Umm, a Satellite can pick out a freckle on your nose. We got some super powerful stuff dude.

Only if you are looking up [/quote]

That's just my take on it.

For fear of being somewhat picky, the only reason I brought history into this is somebody said the stoner should not be in the game because of time period and went on about recoil. So I thought it an idea to bring some perspective and fact into the mix because the said person did not know their facts or history. It was nothing personal. And if anyone points out to me that my facts are incorrect I will gladly stand corrected...

I have seen other posts that bring up the history of certain weapons, and that's fine. I was simply stating that for me the multiplayer doesn't require a historical perspective. I would agree the years certain weapons were brought out would go counter to the campaign years.

p.s. Pauly01: the slug is slightly larger than a .22, the casing and charge of the 5.56 is considerably larger than a .22

Slightly larger in diametre yes, longer in length. I know....

I shot a .22 several times before, man is there no recoil or very little that I cannot notice. The 5.56 as stated is also small, but do that size and all of the powder in the round, it can further and faster than the .22 which is weak sauce when compared. I never shot a 5.56, but I have been told that an eight year old could manage it, but that will change in a few weeks, and maybe I will get to shoot a full auto HK MP-5 in addition to a M-16.

When I first started playing this game I took some time and researched ammunition. the 5.56 round while the same width as a .22 is longer and has more mass. If you notice the cartridge is also bigger allowing for more gun powder. So the round has a higher velocity. Higher velocity and more mass give the round a lot of punch. So other than the width there really is no comparison to be made.

Camping can be effective and is,
Camping can be alot of fun,
Camping doesn't ruin the game for everybody,
Camping doesn't mean that your opponents are shot in the back, that's just your assumption,
I contribute many kills to my team as well as support when care packages are dropped nearby,
I have gotten better scores and K/D ratios than the other players not only on my team but everyone in the match, and my K/D seldom goes below 2.0 and is usually above 3.0. What's yours?
I also get somewhere between 12 and 25 kills while ambushing, not the 4 that you assume all campers get,
I get plenty of shooting practice, especially on people like yourself,
I know every inch of every map and that aids in planning my ambush,
You really don't know what you're talking about, open your mind a little and try to look at things from a different angle, you may learn something.

I shoot people in the back all the time. 99% of the time its the runners that it happens to because they are not paying attention. I make no apologies for that.

Again, wrong. I play fast paced games and slow paced games. I am not bored with the game one tiny little bit. In fact, thank god for the variaty...

But that's the problem! There's no variety in play styles among players anymore. In almost every game I get, most people on my team run to the nearest camping spot and "set up shop". Nobody tries to run and gun anymore, especially on big maps like Array.

Ahem, i run and gun on Array, pretty succesfully i might add, i just go from camping spot to camping spot like a park ranger saying,"hey folks looks like we have a madman coming in with a gun so its best to pack up and start moving" Array is one of the worst maps to camp in, because if you play it 3 times in a row you will know all the camping spots. (cracked is much harder than Array)

there are a couple of spots on array, but not many. If you can get a couple of players to hold a spot you can really rack up the kills. but it takes teamwork

Guidelines for playing Black Ops (TDM) < CommonCold > 05/10 12:14:51

1. If your screen name has “beast,” “killa,” “masta,” or anything like that, you had better be able to deliver. There is nothing so sad as a player with an arrogant screen name and a KDR of 1:20.

2. Players with Swastikas on there graphics typically suck at the game (see #1).

3. If you and 5 of your teammates just died going through that door, you should probably not go through that door again.

4. If your KDR is consistently worse than 1:2 it is time to change your tactics! Try slowing down, outflanking, different weapons, stop going after goofy contracts, and for God’s sake, don’t prestige until you’re near 1:1 KDR. If you’re getting your taint handed to you when you have access to all the weapons, why do you think having less options will suddenly help?

5. When you camp, don’t sit in the exact same place in a building the entire time. Kill a guy, move to a spot that you can watch your last spot from, then kill him when he comes back to get you, repeat until he decides to stay away.

6. If your enemy is camping bad, just leave them in there. There are 5 other guys you can go out and kill. Plus, your team now outnumbers them on the rest of the map.

7. Using the M60 is like carrying a man-purse: yeah, it gets the job done, but you sure look like a *** using it.

8. Help your teammates anytime you get the chance! Revive them, cover them when they throw care package smoke or while in chopper gunner, throw a flash bang before they enter a room … in other words, stop your selfish douchebaggery and try WINNING THE ******* MATCH!

9. If you are going to use a deployable, like an RC-XD, don’t stand in the open when you use it. GO HIDE! Because if you die while using it and your team loses by 1 kill, you just snatched Defeat from the jaws of Victory, dipshit.

10. If there are only a few seconds left in the game, your team is 2 kills down, and your teammate is ripping them up with Attack Dogs and a Chopper Gunner, for the sake of all that is Righteous DO NOT RUN OUT AND GET YOURSELF KILLED NEEDLESSLY! Stay put and let the dogs and the chopper do the work… In other words: take the WIN, dumbass!

11. PRESTIGE MEANS NOTHING! Anyone can prestige. Only a precious few can consistently have a 2:1 KDR. Strive to be part of those few.
