I still blame theatre mode for alot of the problems Black Ops had on the PS3 - Treyarch has always denied this - but if it did not cause a problem, why is killing theatre mode the first thing Black Ops Ground War would do if it got too laggy ?

Things that make you go Hmmmmm.

I am still convinced theatre mode is why the game always played horribly for the Host.

I'm just disappointed we WILL NOT be able to turn the whole silly thing off - like in MW3.

You should choose the MP7 - I use it with Silencer and Range. It has zero recoil - is highly accurate and has crazy across the map range. Tons of people use it - if you see tons of people using it - thats because it works.

I really wish they had asked the community to vote for which map from MW2 they wanted back - I would have voted "Afghan" all day - much better map than "Terminal".

I was still excited to get "Terminal" back - but people are camping it worse than they did in MW2 - hopefully people will move around more once they get used to it again.

The maps you mention aren't in Collection 1 or 2.

Vortex and U-Turn will be in collection 3 and Decommission will be in collection 4.

If you plan on buying all those you might as well go Premium Elite and then you'll get it all cheaper.

All in all the last few patches for MW3 seem to have made the game run pretty smooth for me. No complaints here.

I believe they don't go in until they are available for purchase to Non Premium Elite members - so basically not until they are in a Map Pack.

The standard fix is to delete the MW3 gamedata folder and redownload all the DLC in order - make sure you get every file even the Spec Ops missions.

If you want to play Decommission or Off-Shore you need to go into the Elite Playlists - they aren't in the regular playlists yet.

You are correct MW3 does run much better than Black Ops - I put in Black Ops the other day and had forgotten how poorly it ran - MW3 runs great.

Hopefully they have sorted out their PS3 porting problems for Black Ops II.

Well I preordered the game last night at Best Buy - now in 3 months I'll get to see if Treyarch has listened to what we've been asking for since MW2, then we asked for Black Ops, and then we asked for MW3.

Black Ops II ? - We are still asking for console parity - which would include the install option Xbox360 gets with every Call of Duty.

Don't disappoint us Vahn.

The issues were real - David Vonderhaar spent months trying to make Black Ops run properly on the PS3. Some issues got resolved but the biggest framerate - did not. He admitted that the game "under performed in some circumstances". Please don't try to make it sound like people had no issues. They are probably just kids who didn't know what to look for.

Black Ops II is Treyarchs chance to redeem themselves to the PS3 community.

It used to happen in MW2 as well - maybe its either a random miss coded into the game. ??

I have found if you keep the Stinger up (hold the lock on) even after the launch you'll get more hits. Was a theory in MW2 as well.

I'm glad to be one of the "X Men" - also glad I'm at 20 and don't have to Prestige anymore.
