i have a thomson dwg855t, i am starting to think theres something severly wrong with my router, because ever since i posted this i get 1 bar almost constantly, 2 on an amazing night at 3am when no one is on. its so bad that the enemies basically teleport across the map i have to shoot in circles to hope to get a kill, could a strict nat even cause this kinda **** or is my router ****-ed???? i have an ethernet connection btw, and even when its wireless i get the same signal either way :/ router is about 2 feet away from my xbox just a thin wall in between.

i have a xbox, portforward.com doesnt have my router on there, i found a video on how to make a static ip, and tried it, and ended up shutting down the router and no ethernet cords could connect to it, or wireless. i had to manually redo the whole thing >.> so i think the video i watched on static ip addresses was wrong...oh yeah, and i enabled upnp, and disabled the firewall, now my nat type goes from open to strict back and forth through out the day, for no reason....i am starting to think ive got serious router issues.

does ip flooding blocker help at all? should i allow that or block it?

also from what i could read online the ports for modern warfare three are 3074 set for udp and tcp , 80 udp, and 88 udp is this correct? also is there anything specific i need to put for the local ip address last 2 digits they were at .00 so i dunno if i should leave them or change them. i dont mess around with router **** i know the inside of computers thats bout it lol.

i get the message nat type is strict, visit infinityward.com/nat.

but infinitywards websites been down for awhile now can anybody walk me through opening it? i heard it significantly makes multiplyer matches better.

what exactly is the difference between strict and open?

lately when i play i am running at 1 red dot instead of 4 green bars does this have anything to do with my lag issues, this has been going on since i played modernwarfare 3 basically, i opened up my forwarding ports and that didnt help my connection at all. everybody else is at 4 bars n i get 1 it sucks.

he didnt do anything wrong....he played the game strategically, better than glitching or actually boosting with tac inserts.

anybody else notice that the mk14s aim seems really off without a silencer? maybe its just me but it seems when im aiming down the sights with the m14 with no silencer i can aim right at a guy and not even get a hit marker, but if i have a silencer on this never happens. it reminds me of the l96 in blops without a silencer.

maybe its just me but idk gimme input if youve gone through it.

(no i do not use a rapidfire mod with the mk14 either btw, i dont even own a rapidfire controller)

theyre a great part of the game, i dont see anyone over using them, and if ur good it can help you get a quick 2 kills over just one kill.

less than 50ms is the best to get into if u cant get into that ur stuck in 50ms to 75 whic isnt that bad. anyway it sounds more like you are playing blackops than modern warfare 3, i havent seen much spawn killing. ive seen a lot of spawn trapping where they give you a 20 feet radius once u get 21.00238349834 feet your already dead. but other than that blops was horrible for it mw3 isnt bad on that shizzzz.

boohoo, every gun is different not all of them have the same stats obviously some people can play better with certain weapons, its not specific ones that are too strong, the mp5, the usas i have heard r the worst mw3 weapons, i can get just as many kills with those as the fuckin 95 ump p90 pp90 or whatever else, quit whining and get over it.
