Well, after saying I wouldn't do it, I bit the bullet and bought all available DLC packs...mostly because I wanted more maps for Special Ops.

Sure enough...now that I have all of them, more matches are available in all playlists (though still nowhere NEAR as many if you disable DLC. I generally see "10 matches available" for Domination, for example...so I'm still feeling a bit ripped off).

So I guess I have my answer....Indeed we are only matched up with those players that have the same DLC packs installed as us, and apparently the DLC 1 and 4 combo is an un-popular one at that.

Which begs the question - why on EARTH did they do it like this? Seems to me it made way more sense from a playability standpoint to keep it the way it was (assuming keeping it that way was still possible). So maybe you haven't bought all the DLC and get booted from a lobby because you don't have the next map up. Big deal. You move on and search for a new match. If anything, that made it even MORE tempting to buy the new maps...I know it was for me back in the COD4/MW1 days haha!

I can't speak for nwagtmustang, or in regards to HQ Pro....but yes, TDM does return some matches for me, but there's VERY few (usually says "4 matches found" or so).

And I bet you're right! But unfortunately there's NO WAY I'm buying the other DLC packs just to see if it corrects the issue unless Activision/Infinity Ward confirms this is indeed the case and it's not actually a problem on their end.

Since those of us with this issue have been largely ignored, I'm beginning to guess that relatively few of us have purchased just 2 DLC packs, and thus we can only be matched with folks with the same DLC combo. With that, add in a relatively less-popular match type, and you get 0 matches found.

Thing is, there's NO WAY I'm buying the other DLC packs just to see if it corrects the issue unless Activision/Infinity Ward confirms this is indeed the case and it's not actually a problem on their end.

Seems there's a bunch of us with the same problem on Xbox Live. I'm not sure any of us have gotten any answers, but I'm hoping they're at least working on it (and I hope it's not just because very few people bought the DLC packs haha).

The issue started for me after buying DLC 4 (only had DLC1 previously). The only way I can find matches now is to disable DLC.

And the process of getting a refund from Microsoft is even more frustrating than this DLC issue.

Too bad...I only recently bought this game. I'd love to keep adding new DLC, but there's NO WAY I'm paying for another one now.

Update: Tried again this afternoon. Same problem - no matches to be found anywhere.

BUT! I disabled DLC and only played the original maps ('back' button on the controler when connected to Xbox Live in multiplayer) and suddenly everything worked fine. Every game mode, 45-50 matches found.

The only DLC I have so far is 1 and 4, and all of this started after buying DLC4. Very annoyed.

Yep, I'm in the same boat ever since DLC4. "No Matches Found" in most modes, and the only ones I CAN find a match it (Domination, TDM, and All or Nothing) take FOREVER before I'll finally connect to one. EXTREMELY frustrated with this.

I haven't tried deleting the map pack yet, but I guess I'll have to try that tonight...then go after a refund.
