Blind eye and Assassin perks

Ever tried shooting them with a gun?

Erherm... sarcastic retort aside, what many others are saying sums it up. You have to sacrifice other combat advantages to take those perks, and from what 402 has stated, somebody could easily just shoot you if you try and get too comfortable camping. The game is more focused on Gun on Gun now, and the weapons are powerful, albeit more difficult to control for those who like to spray and pray. But someone who wants to camp can easily be picked off by an expert player with an Assault Rifle or Sniper Rifle. Not too mention you can't have blast shield with assassin, so you can be blown up too. I also don't believe the Strike Package munitions will be as frightening as in the past anyway, so people will end up mostly sticking to a more fast paced gameplay using perks like SoH and Quickdraw over the stealth perks. The stealth perks mainly remain as a niche, that's the way the dev's have planned it this time around

CM901 ftw. Colt has been supplying our Nation's rifles for 50 years. Why stop now? Sure, politically we didn't win Vietnam but if you look at those numbers, we killed a lot more of them than they did of us!

Ahem I'm getting off topic. The M16 looks much better (literally, I'm speaking of appearance) than that dreadful contraption in MW2. I think the problem the OP is noticing is that Stopping Power no longer exists and it's not a point-click weapon. It still has its uses, I'm sure of it. It just isn't as simple to use anymore.

I'm pretty sure it just seems weaker to you because you're used to seeing burst weapons with Stopping Power. I never did, I see no problem with it.

1. Wouldn't make a difference anyway since they'd most likely be a separate tier
2. It only effects 2 of the killstreaks, the radar types.
3. Flak Jacket and Hardline are also on the tier with Ghost and have somewhat more use.
4. How will the game lose it's fun? SP ruined the game's fun because people were forced to never branch out and use other perks because they would be set at a weapon disadvantage. The perk should have never been made in the first place.

60%? It's only the Famas, G11, Enfield, and M60. That's four guns out of the 40 or so guns in the game. That's 10%. Also the G11 and Enfield have them because the real models didn't have an iron sight, they had an integrated scope, and they didn't want to give them that advantage over the other weapons, because then you could have 3 attachments in theory.

inb4 Commando, that has the same rear sight as the Famas, but the front sight of the M16, making it actually unique.

Well they can kill you if they use both of them or if you're already hurt to a certain extent I'm sure. Also, the 'other thing' is most likely a crossbow bolt that hits you directly and explodes.

It is stupid easy in my state (Oregon) to get a concealed carry permit. I love ASPs because of how quickly you can get on target at short ranges. The sights take a little getting used to, but they are definitely worth it.

My only real criticism is that I have only seen them in 9mm, at 7+1 capacity. Even my .45 holds 9+1.

Yeah, it was to make them particularly small so they could be easily concealed, and the front sight was omitted so it wouldn't snag when you pulled it out. I'm glad you like the design too.

It was those damn hippies!
