HSV1. 77 members and at least three of them got the premium this past week, so they could contribute to the clan competitions this weekend. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I was trying all morning to enlist in Today's 'Dom' competition, and the above described problem, was happening to me, in the exact same manner. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;This is f*cking bullsh*t. Bad enough I paid to use this product, but the above three guys, who forked over their $50 (or whatever it cost them), they have to be feeling a bit used right now. Activision/Beachhead takes their money with no issues, that processed quite easily. But when it came time to deliver the product? Complete fail.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Why no official statement? Are the Beachhead tech people to busy smoking crack and sucking their mom's d*cks to take the five minutes to just post some info, any info, so people don't have to bang their heads against the wall all morning trying to get it to work?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;how about some common courtesy you f*cktards. They gave us 500xp. Big wow.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;- Beachhead then put up three new Ops...and now they can't get the results up.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;- The last contest yesterday, their system missed 300 + kills from our contest.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;- We played one contest, wasted hours....and it's been a week, and still not up. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Ask yourself....we gave these guys $2,500.....why in God's F*cking name should I be thanking them. Why did this stop working? For the past few weeks, everyone is getting a big old "&lt;em&gt;Operation Data is Missing&lt;/em&gt;". Yeah, that is lame. I can no longer view how we did in the past. Come on. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;But wait...it gets worse. Where I used to only have to wait 1 hour to see final clan contest results in the Clan Showcase.....now I'm still sitting here three days waiting. Yeah, we did contests on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.....and here we are, Monday at 6:26pm ET, and I haven't seen the results for any of the above contests. WTF??? Then again, even if you get it up, i'll probably just get another "&lt;em&gt;Operation Data is Missing"&lt;/em&gt;. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;But worst of all, looking at our score at the end of the clan contest yesterday, the scoreboard is off. With our clan, it's off by well over 300 kills. WTF???? What's the point of having contests if one can't even be sure your programs can accurately count.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Look.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;This is b*llshit. I payed $50 to join Elite, and the primary (well, only) reason was so that I could play the clan contests. In fact, I got at least ten people in our clan to buy Elite, so we could play the Clan contests together. That's about $550 in your pocket, for a product that hasn't worked properly in about five of the seven months it's been out. When you add up all our clan members, 57 strong...with about 50 paying you $50....that's $2,500 you took, for a piece of sh*t garbage system that doesn't show results, just gives a "&lt;em&gt;Operation Data is Missing", &lt;/em&gt;and can't even count numbers accurately&lt;em&gt;.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;And before one of your low paid data monkeys gets on this thread, to hit us with a form letter...about how your trying....how about acknowledging your system sucks donkey balls and refunding some of that $2,500 you took from us?&amp;#160; And no, I'm not counting the other goofball bs you gave us about how there are other benefits Elite gives, like the gun stats and other things. Who cares. I already had that for free when playing Black Ops. That said, just because that's true, that doesn't mean Infinity Ward has to penalize honest players with a loss, just because their host migration engine fails. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Which is my point. IW apparently can't make a perfect 100% working host migration process, and they obviously can't stop people from quitting. But why can't IW put something into the code, so that IF the host migration fails, people don't get a loss? They already sort of do this with the stats now. The 'win streak' counter isnt' affected by people dashing or host migration failing. That statistic doesn't register a 'loss'. So why can't they simply a no-contest or something along those lines, if it happens?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Make it so the guy who hit the dash button, or the host or crashed the game....he gets a loss. Everyone else? They get nothing. Not a win, or a loss. Only in an Infinity Ward/CoD game, can one be on a 156 match winning streak.....but yet have their WL ratio go DOWN by almost a full point. Some people may ask, how is that even possible? Well, i keep winning every game, but one out of every 15 games crashes or has a dasher. My win streak stays unafffected (as I didn't lose), but my WL record, it picks up a 'loss' on the stats ....even though i was winning those games.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;It's completely absurd. I've watched IW take the time to nab cheaters with the token glitch, sticking them with 1,000 losses and 10,000 deaths. They can resolve and mess with people's stats...if they care. If they can take the time to be vindictive enough to add deaths to a cheater's KD as a&amp;#160; punishment......then why not punish those who try to boost/glitch/cheat with the dashboard? Come on Robert.....apparently you toolbags at IW can get nasty with the token glitch cheaters...but dashboarders keep getting a free ride after ride? So right there, there are FOUR big fixes that reduce GL/grenade spam, making players use their guns more.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;2. While there are tons of KS air support options......they are all still easily shot down by any of the Launcher classes, plus, the Sam Turrent option is still available. Plus....now, unlike before, the EMP bomb is only a 18 point item on the Support package. Get 3 to 4 caps/objective pts, all you need is 14 kills and you can run an EMP, knocking everything out of the sky for 60 seconds. Two guys running this, you pretty much can control the skies for 25% of the game.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;So unless you are playing with a bunch of complete turds, air attacks should almost be nonexistent in this game, should never be an issue for a player.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;To the OP, chill out and reevaluate your post, you don't know what you are talking about. Don't have the XP thing wired down yet (if it's faster/slower than other game modes)....but I do know one can REALLY rack up some wins playing it. I usually only get about six Domination wins an hour, at best. One can easily pull together 15 wins in an hour of game time with this format. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;And while the game is chaotic, seemingly full of craziness, ....there is a method to the madness once you step back and analyze it. Either way, yes, "Elite" is underwhelming, but again.....it's just a side thing doing group/Facebook like functions...and really, who gives a sh*t about that? I paid my $50 and now and getting my discount on the map packs. That's the meat. I'm pretty much happy, keeping perspective. Even IF this site was working, it's role is very marginal in the big picture compared to.....just how does the game work?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;And the game, at least for me, is a smashing success. All that seems to be not working, is the lack of Clan challenges to level up....but that's something that is missing, it's not a working/not working issue. Will this stuff come? But this is now, that was then, and right now, MW3 is mostly all clean. There really aren't any legitimate reasons to quit. If you must quit, be a quitter, this is the honorable way of&amp;#160; doing so, that least affects others (more on how it affects other later)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;- The Dashboard &lt;/strong&gt;- This is the douchebag way of quitting. This is using the XBL component of the XBox and backing out through the game. In essence, what you are doing is 'pulling the plug' on the game for everyone (more on why this is wrong later)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;2. Step Two - How the two methods affect the "quitter"&lt;/strong&gt;:&lt;/span&gt; If a person quits, there is a lot of confusion with how HE is affected. Let's examine next, just what happens to only one person, the 'Quitter'.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;- The Exit Button &lt;/strong&gt;- The quitter, when using this 'exit button' as one is supposed to do, will get a loss. His KD and other stats, up to the point of his quitting, will also stay in the system. This is how it works in MW3 and in all prior CoD games. Pretty simple and easy to understand. If you must quit, let's say for lag reasons, this is the correct way to do so.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;- The Dashboard &lt;/strong&gt;- The quitter, when using the Dashboard, does not get 1) a loss and 2) none of his points, kills, deaths and other stats count. In essence, because the plug was pulled by him, the game he was in ceases to exist. It never happened. It goes without saying,&amp;#160; THIS IS CHEATING.&amp;#160; A person who has a bad game, goes negative lets say, simply can make that game disappear. And the reality is, that's why the KD stat is pretty much meaningless in CoD games. Most guys with high KDs (2.50, 3.10, etc...), they simply Dash their bad games. You see a guy type in his KD is 2.45, he probably dashes. Don't believe the lies he puts up on the board.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;So what's the confusion here? &lt;/em&gt;IW games and Treyarch handled this differently, how it affects the Quitter. MW1, MW2, MW3 have been consistent with how their game engine treats a quitter using the Dash. Nothing counts. Basically, IW feels it's good to give this person a free pass. Is this the same for Treyarch games? No. In BlackOps, if someone used the dash, he would get a Loss. He could still cheat his KD stats, but his WL would be affected. So Treyarch and IW handled this slightly differently. Treyarch's system was at least somewhat better, in that it allowed you to spot dashboarding KD douchebags easier. If you saw a guy with a high KD of say 2.76, and WL record of say 0.67, you could be 100% certain he boosted his KD with dashing. Why? Think it through. He could eliminate his bad games with the Dash, but the 'Loss' still stuck on his record. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The confusion, Pt 2. - What confuses many people is&amp;#160; how 'win-streaks' are handled. When a person dashes in MW3, he is able to continue his win streak. Makes sense, as the game he quit ceased to exist. That said, it wasn't the same with Black Ops. BlackOps put a fix into the game, halfway through, that corrected this, and ended the quitters win-streak. Lo and behold, suddenly, you no longer saw people rolling up 350 win streaks anymore in BlackOps. The cheaters got busted. As of today, I'm not sure if IW has put a Treyarch type fix into MW3. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;3. Step Three - How the two methods affect the rest of the lobby (the other 11 players)&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/strong&gt;- This is the most important part. How the quitters actions affect OTHER players. Here's the deal. Every time you enter a console version game of CoD, enter a 12 person lobby to play a game....the CoD game engine will pick one of the twelve players to be 'host' (let's set aside 18 person ground war for a sec). This is 'host' is the person the game engine is running itself through. So when a person quits, there is one immediate action that needs to be determined, and that is IF this quitter is the host. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;- The Exit Button &lt;/strong&gt;- When the quitter quits via the 'leave game', in-game option, he is out of the game as we know.&amp;#160; If he was host (1 in 12 chance)&amp;#160; the game won't end though.&amp;#160; You'll get wind of his quitting, as you will see that 'host migration'&amp;#160; icon pop up on the screen. If it comes up, you know someone quit via the 'Leave Game' function and that quitter was host. The game engine will now pick one of the other 11 people to host the game. This usually takes about 5 to 10 seconds, and at least with MW3, this process seems to work 95% of the time. A new host is picked, and the game continues. The quitters actions don't affect things 'to much'&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;- The Dashboard &lt;/strong&gt;- If the quitter was host and dashboards, the game ENDS as we know. There is no host migration. How does it affect others? The other 11 players, their game ends. They get a big old 'LOSS' on their WL records. Their KD and other stats still count. You can now see the second effect their cheating has. Not only do they cheat by dashing, they also have the secondary efffect of screwing over other people, sticking people who were about to get the 'W', and now sticking them with a 'L'. Robert Bowling and the other aholes at IW should be embarrassed for letting this go on, for what is now years. These IW idiots should be held accountable and answer to this. One billion plus in revenue, and you can't even comment on this cheating?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;4. Some other important points, the douchebag quitter never considers.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;You'll often here the douchebag quitter give excuses that he's not going to take a loss, because it's not fair, ...the other team was cheating, had host, he had lag, pretty much, insert any of dozens of lame excuses these guys give. In every case, with every excuse, the quitter is always just thinking about themselves. That's how these guys think. One excuse you will often hear a lot is this...... "&lt;em&gt;I wasn't the host, so my quitting didn't hurt anyone, what's it's to you?" .....&lt;/em&gt;Let's address that. One, you can never be entirely sure you aren't the host. Two, even if you aren't host, your quitting does affect other people. How? For starters, you just shafted your teammates, as they will be shorthanded for a while, 5 vs 6. Also, every time the quitter quits, the game engine will now have to find a replacement. And now some new guy, looking to get into a fair lobby......won't get one. He'll get dumped into the dreaded "Game-in-Progress" (GiP) Ever want to pull your hair out, when you get dumped into a losing game that is almost over? Blame the above a-hole(s) who originally bailed out on the game. GiPs exist because of these aholes quitting.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;5. The "t&lt;em&gt;his is a Microsoft Issue, quit blaming IW&lt;/em&gt;" excuse&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br/&gt;You will see this pop up a lot in threads. Absolving IW of all blame, and passing the buck to Bill Gates and Microsoft. While these people are partially correct, they aren't telling the whole story. Yes, the Dashboard is a Microsoft feature. That is correct. That said.......IW can do something about it. Why do i say that? Because Treyarch did address this partially. The CoD game engine and its stat tracking, it can recognize the Dash process. With IW, their engine gives the Dasher a free pass, and the other 11 players a Loss. Treyarch? Their engine gives the Dasher a loss, as well as the other 11 players. Both suck, but at least Treyarch&amp;#160; penalized the dasher on the WL ratio. IW can do more.
