      <title>ideas to regenerate COD</title>

So let's be optimistic, people are already talking about the fall of COD, and the next game to beat it, Bets are being put on Battlefield 3, I am a DICE and Treyarch fanboy can't wait for bf3 but even I am finding black ops a little and I hate to say this or bring it up again but boring. I've been pondering over it thinking why isit, why did we play the mess of modern warfare 2, and still I can't put my finger on it. But I have a short list.&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
The RPG aspect of headshot's = camo's that I HATED for the record, but maybe that was addicting or the way we got attachments,&lt;br/&gt;
Things are too cheap imo for instance I never have to save up for something, maybe increase price of stuff for next game and then the cod points per level up increases, increasing the rpg aspect of leveling up. &lt;br/&gt;
I think what treyarchs done is brilliant, put it this way the game's so good we're complaining it's boring basically. My only slight issues are maps need a little more verticality for instance more triple stories would be nice. Paulo88 and the map team have done a great job on the maps really balanced and good, i'm nick picking here. &lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
But back to the point, COD needs to regenerate that just add new kill streaks and tune a few things up,&amp;#160; I suggest:&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
New modes such as "Race" (i'll explain later)&lt;br/&gt;
a Survival or Tournament similar to game battles built into the game &lt;br/&gt;
Skill level? - Not sure on this but similar to Medal of Honor's/Bc2 system but better. &lt;br/&gt;
I know your doing your best but there's a issue with Black ops where it feels the host has 50ms advantage over me that was there in mw2 but more noticeable. &lt;br/&gt;
Now Theater mode is in Black ops = good but would be nice for enhance it's capabilities&lt;br/&gt;
Mod tools for console, this is what keep people coming back and back take counter strike, If you consolise mod tools, make it n00b friendly you've technically started with the new private match settings but increase this for instance we could do some of those EPIC cod4 mods for PC we see. It'll seriously increase the game's life cycle and regenerate to a new audience.&lt;br/&gt;
Map Creator - simple and easy brilliant, to enhance then I doubt it could happen but Killzone 2 type of set up, I don't know the technicalities but in Kz2 if you searched it would give you a list of games then you could join with custom rules etc etc, well imagine we could so the same on a seperate playlist, play other peoples maps, even a slogan ready for you.&lt;br/&gt;

Now Nfs:Hot Pursuit has got this going but let's steal it, Like a facebook social networking in game, where you can share maps, custom games, talk to, share games and pictures etc etc.&lt;br/&gt;

      <title>New Tournament Idea</title>

Kill one person kill another do that 3 times, get my uav another time for a counter then 4 more times for my black bird. &lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
The gameplay tuning has increased the experience and&amp;#160; less frustrating but it's a little repetitive now. &lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
Let's take a game such as Metal Gear Solid 4, the 2008 hit. &lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
MGO (Metal Gear Online) is a third person tactical shooter, it has free battle which is the same as "Core" you could say in black ops &lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
But then it had something called Survival and Tournaments.&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
I'll start with Survival,&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
You would go into a specific lobby and happily find a team of 6, then you would be paired up agasin't another team and play a match. If you won you would survive onto the next game, you would try and win 5 games in a row. By doing this winning 5 games in a row you would win reward points that could be spent on new clothes and gear for your character. It created a really addictive gameplay and a game that is still being played, it's certain that MGO wouldn't have had such a long illustrious success if it wasn't for Survival and Tournaments.&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
Onto Tournaments &lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
This as you can guess was a knock out between around 32-64 teams of 6 each playing each other then going onto the next round and then the winner would get a special Beret colour and reward points. Cod could do the same with new facepaint or new camo. &lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
It would give us hardcore guys something to achieve and aspire to, it's something really addictive and really fun. I think this would really increase the fun in black ops.&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
I understand treyarch tried something like this as I remember Dan Bunting mentioning they didn't like the fact that you could loose COD points by stupid teammates so they stuck to free for all. But take the aspect of having to give up Cod points, then i'm sure it'll better?&amp;#160;&amp;#160; &lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;

Since this is a observation not a complaint, the pacing of the gaming has slowed considerably with ghost being so evident, Now we all know Treyarch (thank heavens) don't want to the game to be so "lethal" and quoting from Mr Vonderhaar himself "More of a dog and pony" clearly stating more of a chance to get away more recoil and less lethal. Which in my opinion dramatically improved the game and it's mechanics generally from the point of view of the Design of black ops, it is the best COD, they've done what we've asked for and I appreciate that genuinely. &lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
I think we as a community would like some clarity on are treyarch are happy with the pacing of the game? or were they expecting this to happen. &lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
I think if we had some clarity it would generally straighten things up and we'll get on with our day and play black ops as the developed intends which is fine by me.&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
But back to the question would it be possible to simply change the perk structure. &lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
Since going back to COD4 Ghost or the equivalent has been always a perk 2 slot due to how powerful it is.&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;

The "Rage Quiting" is creating a serious problem imo. That will increase over time, It's one of these bad habits that's developed over time, fair enough to back out one or twice, but it seems all the time host migrations, now this isn't escalated in anyway shape of form, but also we've been running into match making difficulites but tonight but 8/9 games tonight have had a host migration in one Headquarters 3 times and on the 3rd it wouldn't connect me. &lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
Worked hard for a win 240-0 then a get a loss?&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
I'm not a stats whore, but when you work hard for a win and get a loss at the end of it, it's slightly frustrating.&amp;#160; &lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;

I run with a clan of 6 and we mostly win all of our matches now, we all have a 1.5 w/l which isn't much it was something like 2 but due to these unfair losses of people backing out and then the game and host migration failing we get the loss. I ask you treyarch is this fair, we're just now seconds ago in headquarters I hold the base off the whole entire enemy team for the whole time of the hq with then a 240-0 point lead a host migration fails and I get the loss, I ask you, is this fair? answer. No. &lt;br/&gt;

Treyarch I really wish you could fix this.&lt;br/&gt;

Since it's incredibly annoying, worse than any other problem imo. &lt;br/&gt;

That what annoyed me, getting a loss when it's not your fault,&lt;br/&gt;

It's a Phantom F-4 American Fighter used in Vietnam primarily, it doesn't even look like the harrier since the harrier has half moon air intakes and a phantom rectangle, also the phantom has triangle winglets in a certain angle which again is different to the harrier. &lt;br/&gt;
