If the 2 bar is on your team, it doesn't effect you? Whenever i see a 1-2 bar in the room it highly effects me, regardless of the team they're on. I usually know when to check for 1-2 bar players. Instead of the game play looking smooth but me dying to BS (When i shoot first, or put 5+ rounds in a guy and still die), i actually see people jumping and freezing all over the map. Black Ops was far worse for me than MW3 even. I was host 90+% of the time and, oh man, was it bad. Constantly jumping across the map. The fact people were able to take more bullets in Black Ops than MW3 made it worse, too. It literally become completely unplayable to me. At least on MW3 i went from high kill/death games to breaking even. Black Ops i went from 30-5 games to strugging to come within 5 or so kills of breaking even most of the time. It was really, really bad. I didn't even go to forums and complain, i just plain got rid of it. lol. Played it at my friend's house not too long ago on his (slower) connection and did perfectly fine. In moderate the game was EXTREMELY laggy and in closed I couldn't even connect to Xbox Live. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;BTW, Torz ... way back in COD4 I had the exact same conversation with Microsoft/Xbox Live. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;/blockquote&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;My lag is on an open NAT. I don't think the lag has anything to do with our side if we only get it directly after a patch. (As mine has been with Black Ops and MW3) Not sure what fundamental changes they've made since MW2, but it's very noticeable. I very rarely had any issues with COD3, COD4, WAW, MW2. Like I said numerous times, lag affects me, too. Like i said before it was even released: The patch will make it better for some, the same for others, and worse for others. I don't think they're capable of making it "fair" or "balanced" for all players. I know SOME lag will always occur, but i don't think i should be consistently behind by half a second (Little more or less depending on the room) all the time because my connection is better. Like i said, they depend on connections like mine (faster ones) to keep this game running smoothly without having to shell out for dedicated servers. So if anyone gets any type of advantage, it should be those of us that shell out more money for our internet. Not the other way around. The system where the host gets a slight advantage just plain works better. One person having a slight advantage is far better than 4, 5, or 6 people having a massive advantage over everyone else. MW2 was much, much better. Host had an advantage, sure, but it was ONLY the host. You didn't have several people per game that were nearly impossible to kill/avoid being killed by. Most people in the room will jump between 3 and 4 bars. (at best) The host is almost always a constant 4 bar. Most rooms i join don't have many 4 bars, so it cuts down the list of possible hosts. I can usually tell when i'm hosting because i get the "lag compensation" lack of hit detection. Best way to test if you're host: Leave. If it says "Migrating" as you leave, you're host. I usually can tell, test it, and prove myself to be right. All stats for that game are kept, EXCEPT for win/loss. Actually, i'm not even sure you get a win/loss for joining a game in progress. If you do, i got two free losses today from joining and the game ending with 5 seconds. Haha.
