Done With Lag Ops 2 and COD!

It's over. I refuse to play a game where I am penalized for having a decent connection. The lag is the worst that I have ever experienced in any COD. The game is unplayable. I continually put rounds into opponents backs just to have them turn around and one shot me. I have tried everything that I can possibly do on my end to try to overcome the lag compensation but I am consistently behind by at least .5 seconds. I have invested over 2 grand in my gaming setup but yet I am the one who is penalized. Goodbye Call of Duty. It's been a fun ride and maybe if I ever move out to the middle of nowhere and get dial up internet we may meet again. However, I doubt that is going to happen because your franchise is circling the drain as we speak and I will be there at the funeral to put the last scoop of dirt on your money hungry grave.

Before you guys start bashing me saying that I haven't given it enough time, let me give you a couple of stats. I consider myself an above average player. Besides skill level, I also have a BenQ gaming monitor with less than 1ms refresh rate, a Scuf gaming controller hardwired into the Xbox, Monster coax cable, Monster ethernet cable, Motorola gaming modem, and a Netgear gamin router. Yes, I take COD seriously. I have invested over $2,000 in my setup alone. My internet connection is 40 Download and 7 Upload. So there is no reason that I should be at a DISADVANTAGE right? At the least I should have a slight advantage.

I have tried every way of getting multiplayer to not lag. I have adjusted the max upload speed in the router to 1MBPS and that is not working either. So regardless of fast upload or slow upload, I am still at least a half a second behind everyone else. I am getting one-shotted left and right. I can put 5 rounds into a player and yet they just graze me with one bullet and I am done. I am not looking for an advantage. I just want the game to be fair. It is unamerican to punish me because I have don't have peasent internet. The American way would be that I have paid my dues and put myself in a position to succeed at this game but yet I am the bad guy. The bottom line is this: Activision would love to have everyone in the world buy a copy of Black Ops 2. In order to do this they have to embed some sort of code that gives a disadvantage to guys like me so that the peasent internet people will do well at the game and then go tell their peasent internet friend to buy it so that they can play together. Activision knows (for now) that I will buy a copy every year no matter what. They could care less about the die hard fans. They want to get new sales and the only way to do that is by making the noobs feel like they are dominating the game when in reality they're not.

This might be the last COD I purchase. Until Activision does what is right and quit punishing the people that built their franchise, I am not sure I can continue to support them. It's been a fun ride but it's probably time that we part ways. MW2 will always be the best COD because of hit detection and lack of lag compensation. Who knows I may show up at next years COD convention and ask directly what has been done to fix the lag compensation. I gurantee you they will avoid the question because they don't want people to know that they are not going to do anything about it.

I dont usually post on here. However, I've finally got to the point that enough is enough and it's time to call some of you out. If this post offends a lot of you then YOU are probably "That Guy"!

With the new score system of Black Ops 2, in objective based games (Domination, S&D, etc..), you will no longer benefit from sitting back and playing for yourself. That's right you selfish, greedy players! You will actually have to do something in order to be rewarded! In MW3, more times than not, I outscore the entire lobby during a match and most of the time come close to doubling the score of the second place guy on my team and yet we still end up losing the match. Isn't that AMAZING? It's really the way of the democrat. You lazy people want someone else to do do all the work for you while you sit back and do nothing but try to reap the rewards. Well, here is a news flash: I will no longer be your "flag" *****. You greedy little people are going to have to pull your own weight because I will no longer do it for you. I am so glad that the COD series has finally evolved into rewarding the real players. Now I would assume that most of you know how to play Domination but apparently some of you need a refresher. It's really simple...wait for it...: Your team has to control 2 of 3 flags for the majority of the time alloted! That's it! No really, that's it! It's not rocket science. Well for some of you idiots, it may be. Anyway, here are some tips for winning and scoring high in Domination.

1: At the beginning, only 1 guy should be capping the A or C flag. It doesn't take the whole group! Every other guy should be running towards the B flag. Remember boys and girls, that's how you win the match. An orangutan could easily understand this concept but somehow most of you still don't get it.

2: Here is another bright concept: If you lose one of the flags, then the next thing you should be trying to do is go recap it. Time and time again I see my team lose a flag and then, strangely, I am the only one trying to recap it. All the while, 2 other of my so called idiot teammates are sitting back in a corner shooting the tires on a truck. You get a ton of experience for that...not.

Now I know that most of you are wondering why there aren't more tips but if you understand the concept of Domination then you really don't need anymore than that. If you are confused, then start back at the top and read again. If you want to sit back and play for yourself, then go play Team Deathmatch or Free-For-All. Stay out of objective based lobbies unless you are going to play the objective. If you are playing in an objective based lobby, then grow a set and help out your team. Thanks!

I know this is going to sound like a gripe but this post is serious. Are you guys experiencing the same thing?

I have come to the conclusion that MW3 has severe matchmaking problems. Either I am so damn good (which is probably not the case) or the players I get stuck with went to The School of Dumas. Thats Dumb+Ass in the south. I have a 1.2 K/D and yet I consistently place first on my team whether we lose or win. And not only am I carrying the entire team but my score will be better than 2nd and 3rd place COMBINED. I play domination for the most of the time and while I bust my ass trying to capture 2 of the flags, (which is the objective) most other members of my team will be emptying an entire clip into a brick wall or get respawned right by an uncaptured flag and run away from it! It's as if I am playing with monkeys! Or if I palying kill confirmed, I routinely witness members of my team get a kill and then run right by the tags without getting them! WTF! The crazy thing is that the other team seems to gel well together. They're all on the same page. The numbers at the end of the match confirm this. They've won the match and all have close to the same numbers while I'll have the highest score in the entire lobby and still lose. I just can't understand how I can consistently keep landing on The Team of Dumas! I just don't understand why people play OBJECTIVE base games and then treat it as if it's Free For All. So....

From now on, I will play for me. To hell with the rest of the team. I will be looking out for numero uno and start to steadily improve my numbers better than they already are instead of being someones "flag *****". If anyone has any solid evidence of how the matchmaking works I would love to hear about it. My guess would be that they match good/great players with poor players to try to even the game out but I don't agree with that. Why should I be penalized for being a good player and put on a team that could care less about the match? I might need to join a clan that takes the game a little more serious. Maybe then I'll be matched up with better players.... Feel free to leave your comments and suggestions and thanks for reading.

Man, I know exactly what you mean. MW2 was great at first and then downhill from there. I usually turn the PS3 off out of anger now after playing MW2. The boosters, cheaters, kids trash talking, racism, and so forth. Like you, I did "enjoy" playing MW1 and WAW. I can only hope that experience can return. If not, I will not be playing Black Ops for long.

WHOEVER IS RUNNING THE ONLINE PORTION OF THIS GAME, YOU AND ALL YOUR FRIENDS ARE COMPLETE IDIOTS! HERE'S WHY!

1: Waiting to balance teams: If the room is full and no one backs out..why are you not balancing the people that are there? And don't say "Well we're waiting to get a more even balance of players because that is BULL SHOT! I have played in games that the experience was definately one sided. For instance, Team 1: The average experience of the team is Rank 30 and the highest guy is 4th Prestige. Team 2: The average experience of the team is Rank 43 and most all of them are at 6 to 7 Prestige. AND BEFORE YOU THINK YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO SAY... No the other team is not a clan. So fix this problem with the millions that you have made off of us.

2: Getting thrown into matches that can't be won: It seems to happen all to often that I am doing well, as usual, with a team and get the Ole Bull Shot of "GAME LOBBY CLOSED"!!! Isn't that freakin convienent!! Next thing you know, I get thrown into a match that the team is down by 200 or 300 points with under 2 minutes left! This should never happen to anyone!!! ONCE AGAIN, GET IT FIXED!!! I know you might have to think a little bit but trust me, you can fix this!!

3: SCREW THE HOST: I and everyone else gets so damn tired of the "Host" dictating our game!! Here I am rolling along, in the game and up on the damn screen reads "HOST ENDED GAME"!! There goes my kills for that match! If the host quits a match, they should lose 1 rank! TOTAL BULL SHOT!!!

4: Sometimes a replay..sometimes not!!: You know the only time I don't get a replay is when you guys screw me on a kill. When a guy is facing north and I hit him in the back 5 times from the south and then he turns and shoots west and kills me, I don't ever get a replay...hmmmm...could it be because you absolutely screwed me on that one...I think probably so! WHATEVER YOU HAVE TO DO TO GET IT FIXED DO IT!! WE HAVE GIVEN YOU MILLIONS AND MILLIONS OF DOLLARS AND BY YOU JACK BALLIN' AROUND IT MAKES ME WANT TO CRUSH YOU!! IN FACT IF I EVER MEET ONE OF YOU ON THE STREET AND YOU TELL ME THAT YOU ARE ONE OF THE JERKS THAT RUN THIS JOKE... PREPARE TO MEET YOUR MAKER!!

I have to agree with the original post in some respects. I had an MP-40 with stopping power and steady aim. I walked up to this guy (who didn't have Juggernaut) and shot him in the back at least 5 times from about 10 feet away. The guy then turns as I am shooting him... AS I AM SHOOTING HIM!! and shoots me a couple of times and I die! I had to hit the guy 8-12 times. Also, I've noticed when things like this happen, you don't get a replay of it. Isn't that a coincidence!! They screw you, they know they screwed you, and they won't show it to you.

Does anyone know how many dogs are released. I am in Ground War and the dogs get released on us and 4 are coming at me! I am not near the dogs entry points. I know where most of those are. It just seems weird sometimes.

Thats right!! I am moving to H/C and staying there. That is where the better players are. I like winning but even if I lose more in H/C, at least I am playing with people who know how to play the game and don't make excuses. So long CORE mode!!

I am just tired of people making excuses when they get it handed to them. Griping because someone is using Juggernaut or they are camping and get ridiculed for it. Especially Free For All. READ THE TITLE..FREE FOR ALL! That means anything goes. Camping Juggernaut, Stopping Power, WHATEVER. So people that play this and get mad because someone uses Juggernaut needs to have their scrotum blasted with a MP-40. Yes thats right! I said MP-40! I use it too. Only people that have an IQ below 20 gripe about people using an MP-40! Why..because they can use it too!!! It is absolutely ridiculous. And these kids that run they're mouth like they just got out of prison, they need the hell beat out of them. LITERALLY! Kids don't have any respect these days, they don't respect themselves or those around them but it is what the world is coming too. The END is near and it will only get worse. I am not prejudice against any race or gender but I AM prejudice against these kids that are someday will learn the hard way that they can't run that mouth without consequences. It is this kind of behavior that will lead them to belive that they can talk like that at anytime but like I said they will pay the price one day. I have a top notch mic but I don't use it anymore because I can't stand conversing with idiots. I am a great player but I do occasionally get it handed to me. That is part of it. I don't get mad at people or wish ill on them. If everyone would do the same, COD would be better.

It is not cheating..how can I explaing this so easy that you will understand...Oh Yeah...YOU CAN USE IT TOO!! Get it?? Do I need to say it again? OK. I will. YOU CAN USE IT TOO!! What a concept!! If I am camping, you continually run right by me, and I beat you down....Who is at fault?? If you say me then start reading this again. You are an idiot! BOTTOM LINE: IF YOU ARE GETTING IT HANDED TO YOU THEN CHANGE YOUR TACTICS!! If that is too hard for you to comprehend then start at the top of this message again and read that you are an idiot! I have had it with people complaning about people using Juggernaut and camping! I don't use Juggernaut because it doesn't work for me but I don't get mad when someone else does. Just wanted to rant on a few things and ask a question or two.

Has anyone ever noticed that when you get killed and you think you got screwed on the kill, that you don't get a replay of it? At least two or three times a day, I get killed and know that it is a bogus kill and what happens next??? I get remorphed!! I didn't touch a single button!!

Also, does anyone know what happens when a host quits or has "connectivity issues" and your team is losing, does it count as a loss?? If so, that is absolute B.S.!! I shouldn't be penalized due to some guy wanting to quit or he has a crap connection!! And one more thing..this happens alot. You are on a team winning a few matches in a row and between matches the screen pops up that says "No Serever Connection"!! What does this mean? Who controls that!!

I hope MW2 corrects these issues!
