Motivation for the Game completely gone (Prestige Glitch,Leaderboards,Lag)

So the Motivation to play this Game is absolutely gone.....

1.Reason: Prestige/Levelup Glitch

This seems to work by an infected Theatre Mode Video on Nuketown as you can see here

2.Leaderboardresets

This happened to me twice and to many others and the Support says they are working on it but till this day there was so Solution to the Problem provided (first Reset occured to me at November 14th and the Second one this past Monday....)

3.Lag / Lag Compensation

I do not know the Changelog from the Backendsoftware but since they went from .42 to .43 today or yesterday this Game has become a complete Lagfest and is simply unplayable in a serious Matter

I am just happy that i did not buy that Season Pass yet, i guess it will be the same thing as every year: The newest Call of Duty stays out of my Console till Summer, by then it is fixed. In the mean Time i tend to play some Titles which aren´t in the Beta Stage.....

I made another Support Ticket, a Thread in this Forum and tweeted to Dvh and the Activision-Support.

What bothers me the most is that they respond to other Tweets and think its ok to completely ignore this Problem.

Edit: this has happened before on November 19th and there it also got completely ignored. I really feel stupid not getting any Help or Response from the Support at all, thanks a lot Activision!

Unless your Name isn´t OpTiC xxx or Faze xxx or you some famous youtuber your Problems with the Game don´t really matter, even though you payed 80 Bucks for the Game.......

Maybe we should all tweet this out to @DavidVonderhaar since Treyarch seems like they actually care, too bad that Activision which is responsible as a Publisher doesn´t seem to care or awnser any Supporttickets....

Hi,

as many of you noticed the Leaderboardstats got resetted somehow again and Activision does not seem to care at all.

The first Leaderboard-reset occured on 19.November and i contacted the Support about this, and still got no Response at all, the Ticket is still Pending.

What do i have to do to get an Anwser regarding the Leaderboards from anyone at Activision or Treyarch?

One of my Main Motivations to play the MP is to rank up and keep my Stats which are all gone now (again).

Another Issue is the Elite Matches Summary which is completely messed up and shows totaly wrong Stats.

Seems like you should employ some skilled Database Administrators and some better capable Coders for everything regarding your Databases.

Have the same Problems, i don´t even appear on the Leaderboards anymore.

Another Problem is that the Elite shows Stats of Games which are totaly wrong, some rounds are taken 3 times into the Stats............

I have the same Problem here. It seems like the Leaderboard only shows Daily Stats even if the Filter is set to something else. Leaderboard says something about 1,5hours and 100 Kills, my overall Stats say 1000+ Kills and 10Hours played....

Yes but a Key to winning (in most Game Modes of CoD) is to not get killed...

For example, how can you be able to secure a Objective or defend it if you´re constantly get killed and respawn far away on the Map?

And how do you prevent the Enemy from taking the Objective if you don´t kill them? I agree, a good K/D does not have to mean that you´re winning the Game, but it is one of the Keys to get the Objective. If you get killed over and over you won´t do anything for your Team at all.

I think it would have been better if they implemented Combat Training like in Blackops so People could learn and explore the Maps against Bots, evaluate Weapons etc...

And how are you supposed to get better if you are not playing against People with higher Skills(or in this Case a better K/D).

From blasting People with a low K/D the only Thing that happens is that your K/D gets better, but as soon as the Matchmaking puts you in Lobbys with higher K/Ds(cause your K/D got better) you´ll loose your good K/D again because you´re not used to play against skilled Players so this is no Solution.

Just learn the Maps, read some Strategy-Guides or look up some Gameplay/Tutorial Clips on Youtube which provide a lot of Tactics to gain a better K/D. Take your Time to find a Weapon/Class-Set you´re comfortable with and you should be good to go.

I wonder what will happen in 13 Months when the new CoD comes out. I would bet everything that everyone, who is complaining here will buy the new Title from IW anyways no matter how bad mw3 was, it will be forgotten until then. Another Thing is that it maybe will be released on a new Generation of Systems, so everyone will buy it anyways because it has to be better than Bo2...

@teanah: Will those changes be definately go to all Playlist or is there a Chance that the Changes made to Domination will be set back to before the last Update if the Data obviously would show that it got a lot worse with the Updated Netcode?
You know I'm thinking you're on the right track. But the multiplayer team said they will have an answer for this by next week. So I'll keep you informed!

Thanks for the fast reply,i really appreciate that the Game is still being updated and getting improvements and that People from the Dev Team communicate with the Users.

I really think the last Update was not for the better at all,i play 95% Domination Games and it really seems to be a lot worse, also the Matchmaking became awful, yesterday i could not get into a Game (with over 11.000Players in the Playlist) and when i finally got into some Games, it was always with the same People even though there are over 11.000People in the same Playlist with me, which really was annoying after a while....

There is no patch and there will be no patch. Or at least there will be no patch that does anything. BO2 is less than 3 weeks away. All they have to do is placate us for 19 more days and then this forum will go silent. MW3 is what it is. MW2 has noob tubes, oma, and commando; MW3 has matching making and syncing issues.

Correct me if i am wrong, but if you are the Hosting the Game(public Lobbies), you always have 4Bars because those Bars describe your Connection to the Host, isn´t that the Case?

How else would you figure out that you pulled Host in the first Place ?
