I totally agree bro!! Clan matches would greatly improve the value of CoD Elite and add a whole new aspect of competitive gameplay for competitive players.

Wow I love ignorant people like you that think you can decipher my life story from an online blog. I actually do have Turtle Beaches, which I bought and paid for with my own money earned with my own sweat. Not that it's any of your damn business dicklips. You're not telling me anything I didn't already know and have posted above. You've proved my point that if sitrep pro is used a lot, then dead silence will be without much use. Yes you will be more quiet than those without dead silence, but at 100% footstep noise against someone with sitrep pro, what point is there to use dead silence??? Anyone with decent ears can hear the regular footsteps on CoD, which is what dead silence users will sound like to sitrep pro users.

The perks for mw3 have already been released and confirmed. Dead silence reduces the players footsteps sound to 25% of the normal sound. Sitrep pro magnifies enemy footsteps by 4X, meaning your footsteps with dead silence will be at 100% normal sound when heard by someone with sitrep pro. The pro version of dead silence is no fall damage on mw3. There is no completely silent footsteps on mw3 currently.

I disagree that sitrep pro totally cancelled out ninja pro in mw2. The footsteps of a ninja pro player weren't 100% if you were using sitrep pro on that game.

I guess it could have downsides, I just really liked flanking a bunch of campers with ninja pro so they didn't know I was coming. That will still be possible as long as the majority of people don't use sitrep pro i guess. It is in the weakest perk tier though, so there's a good chance it will be used a lot.

Yeah and i don't really mind counters. But this is more than a counter, it actually negates dead silence, making it do nothing (It takes your footsteps from 25% of the normal loudness to 100% normal). They should have kept it more like MW2, where sitrep pro made it so you could hear someone with ninja, but they were still quieter than the normal footsteps. That's a counter that doesn't make the countered perk useless.

True, but there were a lot of people who liked to rush in search on mw2 with ninja pro. Now you won't be able to without sounding like an elephant. So camping will be 99% of search now. Wheeeeeeee!!

Actually it's not the same as MW2. Even with sitrep pro, it was still harder to hear the footsteps of someone with ninja pro. In MW3, sitrep pro magnifies the enemies footsteps by 4X. Dead silence in MW3 means you only make 25% of the normal footstep noise when you walk or run. So if an enemy has sitrep pro, your 25% is multiplied by 4 (=100%). This means your footsteps with dead silence on will be the exact same as someone without dead silence on. Sitrep Pro totally negates dead silence in mw3. That's my point. You are 0% quieter to anyone with sitrep pro.

Now imagine a game where everyone is doing what you suggested. You think that would be a fun game. Half the people camping corners, the other half crouch walking around with heartbeat sensors? Sounds like a pretty bad game to me, good luck on objective games. And don't rage quit when your team doesn't plant the bomb in search because they couldn't plant in time because they were "crouch walking".

I rest my case, you admit you will camp as a result of this. And so will the majority of the other players. Right back to black ops we go. Bunch of bad kids sitting in corners, what fun. And you can't spam their headsets that much that they wont be able to tell which direction you're coming from when your footsteps are magnified 400%
