Does anyone genuinely know when the PS3 update is due as the x-box one is already out?

I read and understood 3arcs view and this is what I can gather;

There will be no more than 4 HC game modes

"As a snapshot in time, these are the Hardcore modes in order of popularity.

2. Hardcore CTF

3. Hardcore Search

4. Hardcore FFA

Well why not just bring more slots in that way you can have more than 4 modes...?

THIS is the worst bit

"Hardcore Free-For-All, for example, has a very low traffic count. This makes Matchmaking in that playlist more difficult.

While I'm sure that the 4000 people in it right now are loving it, I'm just being open with with you when I say that something with less than 1% of the total population barely justifies it's own playlist"

Well 3arc there are several playlists with even fewer people on them yet those playlists still exist for example

Core CTF est 2,000

Core Mercenary Moshpit est 1,700

"Party Bonus Games" One in the Chamber and Sharpshooter together have est 1,500

Now if HC is such a "minority" well compared to these they aren't.

I'm not saying they are lying just that come on give the hardcore community a bit more respect!

No doubt this will get close but hopefully a few of you will see this. Though obviously as these are my opinions on the subject they shouldn't really get deleted but oh well

Obviously not only 900 people ever played but online playing was only roughly 1000-1300 at a time...FACT. It is unfortunate but there are now more than 10% of the figure from core KC (29,000) playing HC KC (6,500) thats more than 20% which proves HC KC is more popular than HC FFA.

Yes they shouldn't replace it and should just add more game modes but maybe they will in the next up date. There were bigger issues to solve in that update than a game mode for core. However, giving the majority of the community what they wanted this keeps them quiet

No you wont have had a hard time finding a game because the players are split over 4 game modes not 12...

I dunno I have never found HC FFA fun as I run and gun about 2/3 of my games in FFA I'm the guy who runs passed people sat in a corner gaining them their score streaks haha. On MW3 I played one HC FFA and never again I couldn't believe it. I'm not saying it shouldn't be there as clearly it's a prefered gane mode by some of the fans. Why not remove some of the bollocks playlists that are there and have only 1000 people on them and make that HC FFA! Makes sense.

I just think as HC HQ had always been there and is fun why not bring it back. Yes it's a static point but as a player who games in a clan it's an objective to go for, If you want to sit around and camp you're not likely to beat us.

Campers are in all game modes so that argument is kind of pointless. As for tubing this game has not been too bad...yet. I have Flak on just in case haha.

I think a vote for game modes would be easiest. Maybe give each person on Elite 5 votes for which HC mode game they would like.

I mean imagine how bad Sabotage and Demolition would be in the HC game modes. Would be hell to play.

I slightly agree. I am 99% a hardcore player that 1% is core FFA can't stand HC FFA.

However, the issue with making all game types available is that only 10% of the CoD community play HC and so if all game modes were available then the servers and gamers would have a hard time finding games to play with decent connection etc.

I do think though that there should be a vote maybe to see which HC modes are brought out.

Personally I'd like to see

KC
DOM
S&D
HQ

and a mixed play list

I'd also love it if you didn't get kicked for killing team mates who are in your party. Maybe a time out but obviously I don't mean to kill people in my clan like come on 3arc. Get on a good streak some random can blows up and I kill 2 people on my team after a killstreak and get booted not cool!

Does anyone actually know what determines how long you have to wait untill you spawn in on hardcore?

I've had various theories in the past but none have held up. Such as;

How high killstreak you just had
How long you were alive before you were killed
How many players on your team or the enemy team are already alive/dead
If a spawn point is blocked or not

I would just like to know

What, no. It gave one DLC cammo and the Gold unlocking early was a glitch which they hot fixed. They will fully restore it in another hot fix or update

The lag comp is becoming an absolute joke too. Think they have it in them though to make the game better Just need them to pull their fingers out their arses.

Okay, I'm assuming the issue applies in core as well and that it is the game mode which is pretty fuc*ed and that is HC CTF.

It's getting to the point where I do not wish to play the game any more and I have played through since CoD4. But now this is just beyond a joke.

I have never played SO inconsistenely. The number of games in which I will be doing fine until I get spawn raped for about 5 mins is just unbelievable it happens nearly every other game. I cannot believe 3arc have let this happen for soooooo long. When the game came out and no-one knew the spawns i was on a K/D of 2.8 then obviously as the game became a bit more known to everyone it settled at around 2.1 as was the case with MW3. However, recently from getting spawned fuc*ked I go games with scores of about 14-40 so K/D is dropping to 1.8 now. I know this is above average and that some people can't go above one and that k/d is not all the game is about but it is an indication of how the game is playing that I suddenly cannot do anything. In some games I can hardly move before I get shot in the back. The biggest example of this is Hijacked. I have even seen teams jump out and say we cant trap on this map. Also after loosig on hijacked teams seem to think we will jump out, we don't play them again on a map you cannot spawn trap on and kick their ass.

I know this is a bit of a rant but has felt good to vent. I'm not saying the game is bad, I quite enjoy this edition of Black Ops, its just the spawns are hideously screwed.

They are fixing stuff calm down, will be in the next patch. They can't bring a patch out every other day when something crops up
