It's getting there but rather slowly...

The video is a little over a minute long and during the processes it slows my xbox down considerably. However the fan kicks up a tiny little bit then goes back down in some random pattern.. dunno what's going on... but I'll let you know if it ends up working in the end.

For many people including myself this has fix the spec ops/new DLC issue. Looking at one of the developers of MW3 says that MW3 may have hit the amount of DLC the xbox can handle while the game is installed.

Why this happens is because memory is used to hold game information ready so it doesn't have to go back and search for it on the HDD. DLC also uses part of that memory, what the developer has said is that with all of the DLC that they have launched has used up all of the available memory in the xbox. So the temporary solution is to remove the game from your hard drive.

It's a virtual world without real world realism, stop comparing it as real life.

It's Microsoft's issue (On the Xbox).

So after some browsing on twitter, I found that @IWMarkRubinhas found a fix. Simply uninstall the game from your HDD. Apparently when the game is installed, it uses part of the memory that the DLC uses. Mark believes that MW3 has more DLC than the Xbox360 can handle (as of now). He says they are working with Microsoft to get this fixed. This will be fixed and we will be able to play with the game installed in the future.

If uninstalling it doesn't fix it, I guess you are SOL. Unintalling MW3 seems to fix it for everyone.

So after some browsing on twitter, I found that @IWMarkRubin has found a fix. This is EXACTLY what I did, so try it out EXACTLY as I say, or it *may* not work.

1. Download all of the DLC ON THE DASHBOARD

2. Start MW3 again go into a public match of any kind

3 Wait a few seconds & leave

This solves the new maps issue

But for Spec Ops, I had to do this:
1. Cleared my chache

2. Open MW3 go into Spec Ops - this time I saw it STILL didn't work so now

3. Restart your console

Does it work now? If not, go to the dashboard and open MW3 again

This did it for me. I know it is a lot to do, but shouldn't take you more than a few minutes of your time.

If anyone finds a faster way to do this, please let us know!

We are geting our maps one way or another. It may not be what you like, but it's something. There is not strict contract saying that they have to release certain types of maps, or even for what game mode. They choose what they what to release when they want to. Stop complaining. You people are like women, ***** ***** *****. (No offence) We've got something. IF you dont like it, get out. Simple enough.
