A way to NOT be chosen as host in Multiplayer?

Hi all,

I'm having a problem where Multiplayer 7 times out of 10 chooses me as the host. I have a decent speed cable connection but when i'm host the lag is horrible for everyone in the game

and on my end I have to deal with the lag as well, the sounds "crisping" out, and of course the irritation and abuse of everybody in the match.

Yet, even though the connection seems so bad it chooses me as host time and time again.

My question is if there's a way to prevent the multiplayer game from choosing me as the host?
