Why was I banned

Can some one help me please. I am banned from Black ops 1. I can not find out why or for how long. I have done nothing wrong. I called activision waited on the phone 2 hours to talk to some guy that got rood and said he couldn't tell me nothing other than I was banned. My gamer tag is bigbpatrick. Can some one please help me with this issue. It has been over a month since I have been able to play.

Zombies Story Line Question

Why does Dr. Maxis send rockets at Earth, even if he wanted to save humanity from zombies? Wouldn't that just immediately kill all humans therefore doing the exact opposite of his intentions, and there are still zombies as seen in Black Ops II? Or is he truly evil too? Another thing: If just four rockets were sent, how come the world looks destroyed with lava protruding? Were they turbopowered? Kudos to anyone with guts to answer my long question, lol.

So I was threatned about 30 minutes ago, by a PS3 player telling me I was going to be hacked, and be ranked to Lvl 1. because I defused the bomb, but he had wanted more points even on Max Prestige..

His IGN is: fernandorubio503

and I'm 6th prestige and lvl 35. Just in case anything does happen to my account, it's more than likely this player. :-(

Hopefully nothing happens :-(

today i got on bo1 and i got a notice saying servers are not available but on every other account i can play my psn name is headhunter55l21 my friend has the same problems and his name is headhunter55l22 and its the same exact thing with him can anyone help me with a answer

could this be the possible reason for the bans???

I understand there are a lot of people upset about the recent bans happening to some "innocent"people. There are a few things you need to understand about this issue. 1. It spreads very rapidly. 2. It spreads just by being near it. 3. You don't have to do much of anything to get it (watch a video). My theory is this. In order to stop the spread of this disease. Anyone that has been in contact with it has been banned. Why? Infected areas must be isolated from each other to stop the spread of this disease. i.e. servers from players, etc. Once a fix is found it can then be applied from an update to eliminate this virus from your systems as well as applied to the servers to completely remove the infection from existence. Once it is gone normal play will probably resume. Of course this is just a hypothesis about what could be happening. I do not know nor am I making any claims to know if this is the case or not. Just an educated guess. Coming up with a solution for an issue such as this can take vast amounts of time. If that is the case then the ban was a good first step. Good luck!

why the servers are not working

It seems as thought Treyarch is working on the game(matenance), if your on deafcon 4 it means that they are working on getting rid of all the glitches/hacks they have been having minor problems. Out of the 30,000 people who play this game(Call Of Duty Black Ops) there are 7,000 people whos servers are down. If have an error message with 'the server is unavailable at this time please try agian later or visit http://www.callofduty.com/blackops/status for updates then you are not banned. If you were to be 'banned' then you would have got an error notice.

Whenever I try to go online my game says "ERROR: TRY AGAIN LATER OR COME TO WWW.CALLOFDUTY/BLACKOPS/STATUS FOR UPDATES"... I went to the website and nothing happened, but I tried again a few weeks later and it is still saying that. Any ideas?

Legacy Stick Layout Glitch

I know most of you use the Default Layout, but I use the Legacy so the first thing I did when I got Black Ops was I went into a private match to check if this glitch carried over from MW2. When using the Legacy Layout and you go prone, while aiming down the sight, you canNOT freely look around without being thrown out of sight. (Fortunately, sniper rifles aren't glitched like this.) Now, apparently this problem only exists on the PS3 because my friend, who owns a copy of MW2 for both consoles and Black Ops for the 360, confirmed that the 360 versions of both work just fine. (It's a conspiracy, I tell you lol.)

Anyone who has played CoD for any period of time will know how annoying and disadvantageous this can be (it prevented me from ever dropshooting on MW2; I know dropshooting is handicapped on BO, but still it'd be nice to be able to go prone and can still aim and shoot.) If I knew someone was coming around the corner and wanted to get the upperhand on him by going prone, forget it, I would most likely lose that battle. I know this doesn't affect the majority of you, but this is highly unfair for those of us who play in this setting (all 12 of us).

Before anyone replies telling me to just learn how to play with the Default config, trust me, I tried - since Halo, when I realize how near impossible it was to Ghandi Hop and aim with Legacy. Then I tried again when I borrowed Borderland from a friend (God knows how hard I tried for Borderland, which didn't offer a Legacy layout, but couldn't get past more than a couple hours of gameplay, fifteen minutes at a time.) Same thing goes for Resistance. But each time I try to play any FPS on Default, I get dizzy and experience motion sickness - I don't know why, but it happens - just like how some people get when they're reading while riding in a car.

My question is, what are the chances of the Devs patching this problem if I make it known to them or, actually, how do I even go about trying to get them to fix it? Any advice at all as to what steps are available to me is appreciated.

Banned after only 2 days of playing?

Hello, I hope you all are having a good day. I bought Call of Duty Black ops from amazon two days ago to play with some friends. I got online last night and it says I have been banned from all servers. I don't understand how that is possible after only having the game for two days. I'm not sure if this is a glitch or something else. I find the fact that I have been banned from a game within two days of getting said game is unacceptable. Im only a level 2x and see no reason why this could have happened.

I was playing zombies having much fun, but when I try to play online the next day it says the server is not available at this time.callofduty.com/blackops/status for updates. I looked it up they say its packet loss but my Internet runs perfectly fine.

it says its A grade. Another reason is bannage. I have never been banned on black ops and now they thing this. can someone check this please if your a dev can you please check my xbox account. Warning about leaving game early and being temporarily banned...Why?

Yesterday while playing Black Ops 2 the server connection was interrupted...which seems to happen more frequently lately. My entire xbox hung and I had to retart it. When I restarted and entered Black Ops again I got a warning notice that said if I continued to leave games early I would be termporarily banned. Has anyone else seen this? Also, I looked through the rules for banning and I can't find anywhere where this rule is documented. When did this start and where is it written? I find this a little rediculous actually...I do leave some games early for multiple reasons, time for dinner, have to go to work, answer a call, but most of the times because I don't like the map that I was "forced" into. This happens when either I start to play or when players have selected a classified map instead of those shown and I'm put into a map I don't like or want to play. The only choice I have at that point is to start the game and leave it. Isn't that my right to do so? Or is Activision stating that I have to play whatever maps and with whomever they thrust down my throat like it or not? Hardly what I would call customer service. I would appreciate any sincere feedback on this. I plan to call their support desk today and deman to speak to management about this issue. This is a "GAME", and games are played because people enjoy them and the players.. NOT because the HOST says you're going to play their way or no way!!

Nova gas and mortar teams glitch. Banned forever on blackops 1 multiplayer/online?

I joined a friend's game only to find out that it was a hacked lobby where you get unlimited mortar teams and instant kill nova gas. When I left the lobby, I went back to the dashboard to get rid of the glitch (which it did) and when I went back onto multiplayer a few days later it said that the servers where down and that I needed to go to the call of duty website. When I went to their website it said the servers where running just fine. I talked to other people who were in the same lobby and they said they were having the same problem. A few of them told me I was banned for a week and a few more told me that I was banned forever. It has been a week and I am still not allowed to play online/multiplayer. Does anyone know if this is just temporary or if I am really banned forever?

Good Morning

I am a 34 year old Professional whom has been playing online games for the past few years, and never had an issue.

I find myself in an annoying situation having enjoyed MW2 I was looking forward to Black Ops more than ever that you Treyarch were planning on catching up with the hackers and Boosters,

That have spoilt the previous games with modded lobbies and hacks.

I was currently a Proud 5th Prestige Level 43 on Black Ops until last night I found myself with a message saying I had a 29 Hour Ban, and Stats Reset.

I for one would welcome an explanation on this, as I have never boosted or been in a lobby of any shape form or description.

After reading many forums last night out of pure disgust and frustration, I have found there seems to be a way that other players are getting other players banned for no reason.

Out of jealousy perhaps that they are better than them, or a higher rank, they get a group of their friends to do multiple Player Reports for Boosting Cheating, and then you fellas at Treyarch actually believe them.

Without any investigation in to the complaint you ban them, without any warningâ€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦

I would like to draw your attention to the following Treyarch, that an estimated 85% of Black Ops players are under the legal age of 18

I think i am banned from black ops. when i try to play it says the servers aren't available @ this time. I look online and see tons of other people are banned to. I know there is an XP lobby going around and i have not even been in one. So basically they banned me for no reason. If someone can please help me and tell me if its just a rumor and the servers are really down. Also can someone please give me a number to a treyarch/activision support team?

I was playing Call of Duty Black Ops and watched a clip posted in local that was hacked. I was not spectating a live game or anything, just watching an old game that was hacked. I then left watching movies and went to play online. When I got into my own game, the things that were on the screen of the clip were also on my screen. This freaked me out so I dashboarded to try and get rid of it. It worked, and I was able to play the game just as I always do for a couple of days. Then, all of a sudden one day I was not able to play. I am absolutely certain it is not my internet as I am able to play other games just fine and so can my brother. I logged into my account on another console and tried to play and it still did not work. I am most definitely banned and extremely angry because I did nothing wrong. The message that comes up says "Error: The call of duty black ops server is unavailable. Pease visit http://www.callofduty.blackops.com/status for and update." I have a year to LIVE so I most definitely do not want to pay for another account. I want this fixed or I want another free year to live.

Guys, I can't sprint or release grendaes once they're pulled. It's not the controller, have checked MW3 and L3 all working ok. Happens in Campaign as well as Multiplayer. Have rebooted a few times, same issue. Have tried different stick layouts.

What's going on???

this is not cool. many people like i did nothing involving hacks and do not deserved to be treated like this for something they did not commit to.it should be your guys fult for this by now making sure there was no hacks on black ops because no one really wants to do the same thing over over just to get gold gun and it takes for ever to do so. have i even told you the definintion of insanity, doing something over and over know that nothing will change (BLACK OPS). If you care about the players on black ops atleast un banned the ones that did not hack.
