I was online yesterday when i got kicked out of the game and it kept saying the server is unavailable.

I checked online and it says DEFCON4 which i understand is minor maintenance?

Anyway, that was 15 hrs ago and it still says unavailable.

I got a friend to sign in on my console and he was able to access the game just fine...

Now i'd like to know why i can't access on my account.

I don't boost or cheat.

I watched some video in the community part of BO and it said "watch to become infected", which gave me weird program like words all aruond the screen, so im suspicious about that and the subsequent (what appears to be) ban.

I hope these forums are moderated, i'd like an answer.

I think it's time for a clean up

It’s clear to everybody now that you’ve abandoned us. There has been no word from A_Trey_U, no hint of a patch…not even the report feature is being listened to anymore.

It’s especially clear to the boosters and Ranked Custom Game glitchers that have slowly started to infest the game and drive the honest players out.

I’ve never really had an issue with boosters. I’ve come across them numerous times and made a point of breaking up their little sausage party before reporting them and moving on. But it’s really getting out of control now and it’s clear you are letting them do it.

I’ve been in numerous lobbies where 6 or more players have run to a dark corner, dropped their tac inserts and started dry humping each other. Within minutes there are escort drones, swarms, dogs, etc… The amount of players with less than 1 KDR who have nuclear calling cards now is pathetic.

There has been too many times where I’ve lost a match by about 15 points all because a booster or two was on the other team.

This is getting as bad as the cheating was on the Wii. I skipped over MW3 due to all the cheating and account hopping that was going on. And to think I was looking forward to this game and had high hopes of having fair and clean matches…

The lack of support is one thing. Allowing the game to degrade into this state is another. Where is my incentive to stick around when every other lobby I join consists of people filling the skies with score streaks while they level each other up?

I get that we have been tossed to the side. But is it really too much to ask that you do a spring clean every month? At the very least is will decrease the amount of players who are rigging these lobbies and send a clear message that they can’t take control and ruin the experience for others, just so that they can boost their egos.

Ideally we also need a patch to fix a few remaining problems. This will also stop people from abusing a glitch that turns a custom game into a ranked match.

I have an urge to “name and shame” a certain group of players who have sh1t talked and accused me of cheating/glitching for months. I took a look at one of their recent games in theatre. They were split between two teams with a bunch of low level cpus that have the [3arc] tag. This was listed as a RANKED match but it was clear that it was a custom game mode that was glitched into giving XP, medals, challenges, etc.

Once a month. That’s all I ask. If you won’t support us then just spend a few hours at the end of every month to do a clean up and send a message to those that want to ruin the game for others. Just stats, I know. But it is sabotaging the lobbies that I am in and making this game pointless to play.

Save Call of Duty Dog!

Hello, I'm here to speak for one who doesn't have the ability to speak for himself. Recently, we were all introduced to Call of Duty Dog. In the past few days, he has taken the internet by storm as one of the greatest moments in the Xbox One reveal.

I, like many others, immediately came to the likely conclusion that Call of Duty Dog will be killed in a scripted cutscene at some point in the game. I find this to be an atrocious crime against all fictional animal characters. A crime that has been perpetuated for centuries across all forms of media.

I have started a petition asking Infinity Ward to not kill off Call of Duty Dog and every signature will count in this race against time to stop the needless execution of this four-legged fighter.

I ask you as a fellow gamer, nay.... a fellow fictional animal rights activist to join me in this crusade. Together we can change Call of Duty Dog's future. Together we can save him!

I play online a lot and I constantly hear people refer to others as a try hard. What does this mean though? One person can't press r1 harder than the next person and win more, right? Everybody has access to the same guns and attachments, plus there is a large selection of guns that are good enough to beat the guns people say are op. Nobody plays to lose, but y are some people labeled as try hards if they win? It sounds to me like people are just salty because they suk. If I go 50-10 but lose because my teammate was 6-36 I would be mad as hell , just like any gamer would. It sounds like an excuse to me. Plz tell me what u think!

Black ops 2 is wrecking my PS3

Everytime I go onto multiplayer after a couple of games it just freezes, I thought it could be my PS3 so I had it checked out, it's fine, my next idea was maybe my game is broken so I bought a new game but of course it still freezes. After every freeze you have to do a system storage check to see if anything got corrupted in the freeze, if black ops 2 keep freezes i might end up with corrupted files all because of you TreyArch, it's is honestly soo stupid, this needs to be fixed, it's soo frustrating.

Problem with the DLC camos

Last week i bought one of these camos on PSN, it was the guerrila one.

Before buying it, i had to select my second Brazilian account so i can buy with Brazilian money (Reais). After that, everything was ok.

When i logged on to see my camo, it wasn't there, not even on the second account i used (on PSN) it is not showing.

What i did was to donwload the camo on my second account, and log off and instal the camo on my main account where i play the game.

NOTE: my black ops 2 copy is not BRAZILIAN, it is in english and everything.

Please help? Thanks!

New Black Ops. Same old Black Ops

Tons of new weapons and perks which I love, and I'm really digging some of the maps. But wow... the same old lag.

I can really tell when I'm behind in a match. When I'm in sync and not lagging I can log a 2-2.5kdr and really do some damage. When I'm lagging I feel like I'm a fraction of a second behind and it's absolutely impossible to score a kill. Slow cautious play doesn't help. It happens all the time and was a huge reason why I waited so long to buy the game. Black Ops was the same way for me. I'm 25 down 10 up with my internet btw so nobody lay into me for a bad connection.

Lag is awful.

The #1 Issue with all PC COD games. What are you going to do about fixing it?

We all know what the biggest issue is here. Its not FPS, its not features (although an actual league/ranking system would be nice). Its not graphics.

ITS HACKERS.

What do you plan on doing about all of the hacks in COD? Obviously they are everywhere and nothign ever seems to get done. I see the same botters play months after reporting and tons of other players do the same.

Not only are the games filled with hackers and ruins everyones experience. You give good players bad names. We dont all cheat.

Here are the biggest issues.

Walling - pretty obvious that a program is running in the backround of the computer. Cant put one of those extra hundreds of thousands of dollars to good use in a system check utility?

Aimbot - Even MORE obvious.

Stat hacking - This is my #1 complaint. I play very competitivley and would love to know where I actually stand in global stats, but this is actually impossible to do in any PC version of cod due to individuals hacking your leadboard. You really dont think thats a problem? Why even have a leaderboard if everyone knows you cant trust it? I could deal with idiots hacking all of the time if at least my ranking showed somewhat near my "legitimate" rank.

I know this is actually just a rant, as you will never read it and nothing will ever get done to help the community that feeds your children. But hey it makes me feel better.

Here is a suggestion - look at what Valve is doing with the "Overwatch" beta for CS-GO. Id be more than willing and so would thousands of other people to watch demos of games and send reports to you that "you would pay attention to" and do something about to get rid of all the trash.

Stop creating games, releasing DLC, and neglecting to support the game you created.

Should having a mic be a requirement to play online?

Tonight I was playing with two other guys and we ended up getting spawn trapped in KC on Slums. We were messing around sniping and weren't doing great (I was like 12-9 when this all started) then all of the sudden someone on the enemy team called in a Stealth Chopper/VSAT/Escort Drone and the game just went way down hill from there. It seemed to be pretty well coordinated and the entire enemy team appeared to be in a party. Basically two kids stayed in the middle of the map with LMGs. One held down the graveyard entrance, blue house and the entrance opposite the graveyard while the other locked down the other two entrances. 2 kids stayed on the "A Flag" side of the map (one on the left side one on the right) and they had the same thing going on the C flag side. If enough of us spawned by one of them to take them out, they had a teammate close enough by to pick us off. They ended up calling in 3 or 4 more VSATs and a few more escort drones and stealth choppers. I ended 29-30 and my teammates did much worse.

In order to break organized spawn traps you have to work as a team. The 3 randoms on my team didn't have mics, and even though they seemed to follow our directions in an attempt, they couldn't call out where they got killed from and the lack of communicating made it very tough to break the traps. I tend to not mute teammates that actually communicate well, but I realize that some people are just annoying to constantly hear on the mic. Some people abuse mics or are just not useful, but I was wondering what you guys think about requiring mics for online play, especially in team based game modes. Since this CoD seems to be all about the objective and runs similar to competitive where communication is key, it seems important that teammates at least have the option to communicate. What are your guys thoughts on this?
