For the past 6 days or so I am unable to play Black Ops online Why is this happening? My connection is fine.

I think we're complaining in the wrong place if not for the black ops a lot of people here do not pay live!'ll complain to whom we pay xboxlive

Well I got on yesterday and I was kicked from a zombies game... A ZOMBIES GAME, which is all I play in this game and now it says the server is unavailable? Really for playing zombies? WHY?

um monte de pessoas cairam em salas onde estavam esses caras porem não precisava banir o serve inteiro! so olha os pretigios no elite e voces vão ver quem virou caveira a base de infecção,cancer,aids ou sei la das quantas! ja estou a quase a uma semana inteira sem jogar, quando voltar vão ressasir a live? aqui no brasil quase que 98% da pessoas não estão podendo jogar. nada foi enviado para os email !apontar para a politica de conduta é mole !mais todos os inocentes que estão sem jogar o que fazem entram,com processo por danos morais,procuram o serviço de defesa ao consumidor.

jogo em um clan por diversão.um grupo de amigos todos casados pai de familia que só querem chegar em casa entrar em um grupo e se divertir,mãs não essa semana

Nope we are still waiting on a decent reply from Treyarc. They have said the situation is being fixed so hopefully unbanning all innocent players is part of that plan.

i log into my account and i have no mutiplayer data? and i type my ghost camo code and it still hasn't gave me it.. no offence but ima huge fan of call of duty and alway's will be but i feel like wasted 5$ lol.

Okay guys, so I made a new X Box live profile and with that one i can now play live on Black Ops. So it sounds to me like if you get a server unavailable message then you are likely banned. It sucks and its not fair that Treyarch and/or Activision are banning people and not the hackers. But making a new live account seems to be the only way around it at this point. Sucks that I've lost everything and have to reearn all my stuff. But I'll tell you what I'm not watching any more community "videos" because that's what got my profile infected and banned!

If that were to happen, then the majority of the players would be on the most well known or 'best' maps and it wouldn't be fun having over 1000 lobbies with the same map. Getting and playing random maps can help you to become better at the game and even become more of a challenge in lobbies (since you know how to play all of the maps effectively). People quickly get tired of playing the same maps over and over again even though it could be their favorite. Playing and succeeding at random maps can improve your gameplay and make you a challenge to others. In my opinion, if one can't adapt to maps they don't like, then they're weak minded and not much of a challenge to beat.

Who wants to be shoved into a map they don't even like? No wonder so many people back out of games! This is not what we paid $$$ for!!! We should have a list of all the maps with a check box next to each map. Then we can uncheck the maps we don't want to play!!! If you only like one map, put a check mark on it. Then only that map comes up when searching for a game. You only play the maps you choose. Simple!!!

Here is my complaint in it's entirety. I recommend every one of you out there who are innocent, and affected by this ban do the same as I.

I am a paying customer of XBOX Live and Activision Publishing, and as of Saturday, May 18 I was banned from playing Activision's game Call of Duty: Black Ops (COD:BO) from the COD:BO servers, which allows for those with an XBOX Live account to connect with others for online gameplay utilizing the multiplayer platform of the video game.

Activision clearly states on their website that bans can not be appealed, but what measure is in place if Activision wrongfully bans a customer/customers? I have attempted to contact moderators on their discussion forums. All my posts went unnoticed, and no response was issued. I attempted to call their customer support repeatedly. Their customer support phone line was closed. I contacted @ATVISupport via Twitter, and received a crude response that didn't even answer my initial question that I was seeking an answer for.

My situation is this: Activision has a "Community" tab where fellow gamers can upload and watch each others saved game-plays. A week prior to my my alleged ban I was in the "Community" section of the game and clicked into a video that I downloaded and watched in Theater Mode. Unbeknownst to me, I was clicking into a hacked file that contained a glitch that if used properly enables cheaters to gain XP rapidly and prestige rapidly in the video game. There was no warning on this video. In fact, the video was at the very top of the list and was titled "WTF?!". There was no warning provided. There was no indication that the file was corrupt.

I find it disturbing that Activision doesn't have someone monitoring the "Community" for potentially corrupt files. Secondly, I find it extremely unfair, insulting and absurd for being banned because I was utilizing a feature of the video game that is accessible to any paying customer. Activision issued a blanket ban on ANYONE that accessed these files, whether or not their motives where to watch a video, or utilize the XP Glitch. This potentially affected thousands of wrongfully banned honest customers.

I have yet to purchase another XBOX Live account, and I'm not sure if I'm going to do that. It's not going to kill me to take a break from the game, or not play the game ever again, even though I'll truly miss it.

Here is a link to where you can file a complaint with the BBB. You have my permission to manipulate, or use my complaint if that will help. The more concise you are in your complaint, the better. Proper grammar and punctuation will also help, so try and be thorough.

You're Welcome. I'm still hoping and waiting for restoration even though I have my non prestige account to use. I'm not settling for this, as i worked way too hard on my main account. With more people using these stuff the chances of more wave bans are greater.. And the wave bans are part of the problem.. -_- Day 6 and onwards... :v

Where is the customer rights policy located on the webiste? I looked for it and can only located the security and enforcement policy. I also clicked the link to the provided to find out why you are banned and they deleted the information located on the page. And other pages have errors and won't load either.

i feel the exact same way. I am not 15th prestige, but I play everyday. It is my release after work, and I never used the glitches, mods, etc. NEVER! I may have been in a lobby with someone, but that is all up to the game when it puts you in a match with those people who are cheating.

Dovetailing off of the original question into another question... is there no way to delete videos from the Vault? I have four copies of the clip in question now appearing in my Vault even though it kept telling me that the clip would be "overwritten" if I were to re-render it each time. Instead of overwriting, it's created four different videos under the CODblackopsXBOX YouTube account.
